Really great platform
Really great platform, excellent value for money. The online learning and app experience is excellent. The only reason I'm giving it four stars rather than five is that sometimes the quality of the live sessions is let down by the teacher. The preparation and worksheets for the live lessons are brilliant, likewise some of the teachers.

Don't get me wrong but…
Don't get me wrong, the teachers are absolutely fantastic and many of them are exceptional. However, the AI scripts that they are forced to use are not really that great and lack the quality control of a real human with experience to gauge whether the lesson achieves the aims in the best way possible. Often - and I mean most of the time- there are mistakes [oh, and sometimes weird photos (there is one lesson on Paralympic sport with a wheelchair user having their feet facing backwards!)] and if it were not for the teacher having the skill to avoid slides that don’t make sense or try offering better alternatives, the lesson would be a flop. I would be cautious as well about the levels, sometimes the reading comprehension was two levels above the grade with lengthy, complex sentences that drain your emotional energy and confidence rapidly. And you can’t choose your teacher, which I can understand, but I’d pay more to get the few that understood my needs best and I got the best out of them and myself.

The picture you are referring to has been reviewed by our team. We are sharing your feedback directly with our curriculum team so they can review and fix these materials.
Regarding teacher selection, our system is built to give students total flexibility to book classes whenever it suits their schedule 24/7. We cannot guarantee matches with specific teachers because that would limit your freedom to choose any time slot you want. However, for private classes, it is possible to avoid specific teachers if their style is not a good fit for you.

One of the Best Platforms for Learning a Language
This is one of the best platforms I have used for learning a new language. After using it for about three months, I have had only a few tutors who were not very good at teaching German. Not all the teachers are native speakers, and most of my negative experiences were with non-native teachers.
The platform also provides useful tools for learning vocabulary. However, some German words—especially in the practice exercises—are pronounced with an English accent and are occasionally incorrect.

The platform makes it difficult to trace sprint mode progress
The platform makes it diffucult calculation for planning the classes during "Sprint mode". Its like its designed to make your fail, and not to get the reward.
Another thing that i find totally unfair, is that you have no access to past classes and their materials after the subscription is over. I have already paid for those classes, why not have the possibility to go once again through the PDFs when i have the time?
Initially i was planning to continue using the platform, but i think its not wort it.

Our Sprint challenge is designed to be a rigorous routine to boost your fluency, and it is certainly never our intention to make it feel overwhelming or unfair. We understand that calculating and tracking your class cadence can be stressful, and we appreciate your feedback on how we can make Sprint progress easier to follow on our platform.
Regarding your class materials, we completely understand why you would want to review them after your subscription ends. While interactive platform access closes when an account becomes inactive, all lesson PDFs and materials are available for download before your subscription finishes so you can keep them for future study.

Great quality courses/teachers but not conducive to busy professional lifestyle
The teachers were engaging and consistently encouraged conversation. The course materials were comprehensive, interesting, and highly relevant to everyday situations.
The biggest drawbacks were scheduling and the Sprint program. Classes could be surprisingly difficult to book, even 1–2 weeks in advance. Despite searching across five course levels, I still won't be able to use all of the classes I purchased before they expire because there simply weren't enough available time slots.
The Sprint is also quite rigid. I failed it after missing a single class due to an unexpected family emergency (I'm a 49-year-old professional caring for an ill parent). If you enroll, be aware that Sprint is set to auto-renew unless you manually pause or cancel it in your account.
Overall, the teachers and course quality were excellent, but the inflexible Sprint policies and inconsistent class availability made it difficult for a busy professional to justify continuing, which is why I ultimately canceled my subscription.

Regarding the auto-renewal, you are referring to the Sprint rollover subscription. This is explained in the Sprint rules document, and the subscription can be cancelled within the 2nd month of the Language Sprint.

To help you get the most out of your A1.1 beginner courses, we always recommend starting with Chapter 1, Lesson 1, and following the lessons in numerical order, as each class builds step-by-step on the last. Taking a few minutes to preview the material before class and reviewing the teacher’s notes afterward will also make a difference, as well as using the self learning material after the class has finished.

Úplne chápeme, že učenie sa jazyka pomocou imerzívnej metódy (priameho ponorenia sa do jazyka) môže byť zo začiatku veľkým krokom. Aby ste zo svojich kurzov pre úplných začiatočníkov (A1.1) vyťažili čo najviac, vždy odporúčame začať 1. lekciou v 1. kapitole a postupovať podľa lekcií v poradí, keďže každá hodina krok za krokom nadväzuje na tú predchádzajúcu.
Rovnako veľmi pomôže, ak si materiál pred hodinou narýchlo prezriete, po hodine si prejdete poznámky od učiteľa a využijete aj materiály na samohotúdiu.
Chceme sa uistiť, že sa na tejto ceste cítite plne podporovaný. Neváhajte nás kontaktovať e-mailom, aby sme Vám mohli poradiť, ako si lekcie čo najlepšie usporiadať na dosiahnutie Vašich osobných jazykových cieľov.

Purtroppo non è adatto a principianti
Purtroppo non è adatto, come dicono, a tutti i livelli. Dovresti essere di base un B2 perché il docente non parla la tua lingua ed è impossibile filtrare la ricerca tramite questo parametro. Immagina tutta la lezione, senza nemmeno i sottotitoli, in una lingua che vorresti apprendere, con materiali di lezione talmente scarni da non aiutarti minimamente perché poi nella lezione, per riempire il tempo, parlerai ( parlerà perché tu non sei in grado) di argomenti per il 90% esterni. Mio malgrado ho tentato con 2 lezioni su 5, fortuna non ho acquistato il pacchetto da 120 euro, per gettare la spugna totalmente. Insomma 70 euro buttate.
