Laura Bicester is a company you need to stay well clear of. Some may have read my review from earlier this year when I innocently purchased two tops as seen on their website. When they arrived nothing could have been further from the look of the items I thought I was purchasing.
So I set up a return on the understadning that the return postage of £25 would be non returnable. Better to have some refund that nothing. The return destination was in Chine, of course, and I traced the return where is sat is the post office in the town the warehouse was supposed to be in Chna for weeks, uncollected as there are a duty to be paid on it. I wrote to Laura Bicester 50 times expaining this and eventually received a full refund for the price I paid, aprox £65, though I was unable to claim the £25 postage paid to return it,
The reason for my update is that today 5th July 2025, 5 months after ordering the two tops I received back the parcel I sent to China which it seemed was NEVER collect by the 'warehouse' in China. Was is a fictitious address? Was there ever a warehouse there? Everything about this company is a lie so I imagine there was no warehouse and the cost of returning purchases to China is, I imagine, a hope that no one will bother to do so.
I cannot understand how it is that the British Government cannot stop these rouge companies from setting up business built on lies and to allow purchases made in this country from a base in this country, to be forced to return it to another country. Why is there no law set up to prevent this as I do not believe Larua Bicester ever sell any clothes that resemble what the poor innocent purchasers want to buy. I would prefer to give it zero stars.

I paid £39.95 for a dress that turned up which was no where near as nice and in fact it was a horrid dress than the one I ordered. So I was completely miss-sold / miss lead on this purchase. I finally found an email address for this company and was only offered a partial refund of £11.00 for the dress because if you want a full refund it will cost you £20.00 approx to send it back to China (even though the returns address on the package has a Southall returns address!) . I will donate the horrid dress to a charity shop, but sadly I doubt it will sell. Its a total scam because they know they have sent out a product which is nothing like the one you ordered so they make money hoping that you probably wont send the item back to China. BEWARE and DONT ORDER FROM THIS 'COMPANY' through social media sites.

Cheap clothes from China! Avoid at all costs!

Would not give this company a star. Wished I had read the reviews before I ordered every one of them is true. A TOTAL SCAM items not as described cheap and tacky had the same problem as you ladies had to return to china even though was posted in London. Went to my credit card done a dispute form and have had a full refund in 5 days. So didn’t give up credit card companies must know what a fraud company Laura Bicester is don’t know how they can keep on advertising.

Do not buy anything from this site. Totally misleading images. Product quality terrible - I believed I was buying from uk company. Item came from china. This comment will probably be deleted. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE. I ordeded a few things and could not believe it when I received them. They were just bits of awful material stitched at random. Appalling quality, no way they could have been worn. Asked for full refund. Told I had to send parcel to China at my own cost. Eventually was offered a partial refund of £43.43 so I basically lost £141. A friend went to check on the shop premises and there was nothing there. They had the same blurb saying they were closing down. It's a huge SCAM. I am in the process of reporting them.

The dress i received bore little resemblance to the advertised dress. It is shoddily made and does not hang the way the ;pictured dress does. When I got in touch to return it turned out that my refund was barely worth having. As stated elsewhere, it came from China and would have to be returned to China. Don't believe the line about there being a store closure. Scammers!!

Absolute scam….products are cheap and nasty and you think you can return them to the UK. Wrong they come from China and cost a fortune to return
There are lots of similar retailers coming up on Facebook and they are all the same scams

I have received the item but I was really disappointed with the quality. It came from China, the quality is such rubbish and the item was not as the photos or description depicted. I have asked for a refund label but as yet have not heard anything. I contacted them on the 28th Feb, when the item arrived. It was ordered on the 7th Feb. It was advertised as a top quality item being sold at half price due to closing down sale. It wasn’t worth a smidgen of the £39.95 I paid for it! wish to return it and get a full refund. Please be aware, it’s a total scam!

Outrageous that wrong size item has to be returned at my expense back to China - I only bought from the company as I read they were closing down - I felt sorry for them - what a rip off

Absolutely awful. I wish id read the reviews first. I bought a dress from what I thought was bicester, however it was sent from China. The dress is horrible and cheap looking. I can return it but it will cost me £25!! Apparently I can't take it back to the shop in bicester. Please everyone read the reviews and don't waste your money.

Just received this pile of trash and apart from it missing the occasion I ordered them for ( well I couldn't have worn them anyway on seeing the cheap nasty rubbish).they are now offering me 30% refund or send back to China. Has anyone actually received a refund yet from this scam ? I am taking this further and will not let it rest. I have asked for a 50% refund minimum as don't trust sending them back and getting nothing .. so sad as really cant afford this loss of money..

I should have come here to read the reviews first!! What a scam, cheap quality from China, totally overpriced for the rubbish that you are getting!! They had advertised a 30-day return guarantee, which made me place the order, and now they are telling me that I can only exchange for a different size, since some items are too small. And for this I have to pay the shipping cost!! I have to obviously write off the money I have spent on this, absolutely fuming!

I don’t want to give this company any stars….what a scam. It’s taken weeks to get my delivery and it’s dreadful. I’ll be taking this further. It’s disgusting.

Scam, Scammers, goods come from China even though they claim they have a shop in Bicester in the Uk.
Very poor quality and forget about getting any refund they try to offer a discount to keep the goods or expect you to pay to return to China😡

This company is a SCAM. They are not based in the uk, they are based in China.

The clothes when arrived were shoddily made and of very poor quality. I requested a return/refund which was refused. Offers were made to send out replacements at an extra cost.

No return/refund.

I cannot believe I fell for this scam and didn't check the reviews first - it has cost me £160! The dresses eventually arrived but are not the same as the images on the website, like everyone else I was led to believe it was a family run UK business but the goods actually come from China and have to be returned to China. I don't have high hopes of receiving a refund.
