I placed order Jan 2025, I cancelled the order as they were not responding with tracking information. They sent the product anyway. I refused package. The tracking shows no movement on package since 1/27/25. They promise refund when the package arrives. It is now April. I have asked them to check their warehouse and consider calling usps to find out why the package is not moving. Still waiting for refund. Multiple requests sent. Filed complaint with BBB and they did not respond to them. I will never purchase anything from them again. The tracking shows refused and turned around to ship back to them. They should have just issued refund by now. I am quite sure they have not checked their warehouse or called usps for inquiry.

Never received information on shipping. I have sent emails to the support line with no response. I called and left voicemails. It has been over a month. I want a refund.

I placed an order in mid-February - the website said 1-2 business days to ship. I emailed at the beginning of March to ask about my order. No response. Finally got an email a couple of weeks later saying they were backed up and having shipping delays. I asked that my order be canceled. No response. Sent another email requesting cancellation. No response. I have already been changed for my order (over $200) and at this point will probably have to dispute the charge.

I placed an order Feb. 9th. An email was received saying it was shipping shortly. I sent an email Feb 22nd inquiring on the expected shipment date since I still had not received an email with tracking. I received absolutely no response. I then followed up in a few days with a phone call and was told it would be going out within the next week. It is now March 31st I have still not heard anything nor received my order. I am going to call them today and tell them I want my almost $100 refunded. I had ordered from them when the LA fires were ravaging the area and thought I would try to support a small business. I have seen a few people praise them but also this same complaint about no communication and no shipments made. Against my better judgment I dismissed those reviews. My mistake! Do not buy from them unless you can do it in person!

I ordered Jan 3rd and just today received my order (March 25). No communication was ever initiated by LA Herb. I called multiple times, no answer. When I finally got through mid February, I was told it would be mailed out. I waited- nothing , I emailed and called several times again. When I was finally going to cancel my order and request a refund- I was told that miraculously my order had been mailed out the day before. It took a week to get here.

Did my first order on March,11. Still nothing. No tracking shipping. Its been 2 weeks now. Customer service dont reply.
Stay away SCAM website.

I never got the bee balm I ordered. It was my first time purchasing so I only spent 28 dollars. I emailed them and tried to reach out to customer service but they never got back to me. I wouldn’t buy again. I’m gonna stick to Etsy.

top tier quality. great service and i will buy from them again it did take 2 weeks to receive but they let you know in advance. that they are real busy so just be patient.

Do not order from this company. Thankfully, I’m only out $20 from a small order, but I can confirm all the other reviews are true. You will not receive the product, the customer service is not great and all around this experience has been a massive disappointment. I don’t know if they really are a small business struggling with order fulfillment or if it’s a scam job, but either way you will not get your order and it’s a huge waste of time and money. Also, advertising a bunch of “coming soon” products while apparently struggling this hard to fulfill existing orders is questionable at best. Shady, immature business practices with very unhelpful people. You can try to ask for a refund but it’s unlikely you’ll get one. This is a reminder to myself and anyone else reading, always check reviews first even if the site seems legit.

Well I made my first order with this company and it took them 21 days to send my order, then I order again the same thing thinking it was just a one time thing ,now it's been 2 months and I still have nothing.. I have sent a email and nothing.. I'm very upset that I can't cancel my order at all.. they just take your money and that's it.. I'm sticking to Amazon and other herb company's from now on..sorry la herb you have a lot learn when it come to keeping returning customers happy..

Let me Begin by saying the first time I ordered it was during the wildfires so when I inquired as to why I didn't get my order cuz usually when you get 2 days shipping you get your product in 2 days I did not know their policy is one to five days processing then the shipping time that's fine with the LA wildfires that delayed the USPS as well as l a r so turn out to be 3 weeks no big deal so I'm on disability I get paid monthly so a week goes by I turn around and order again that's February 14th I've yet to receive my order now keep in mind that I've sent them numerous emails between both orders and the first time they answered my email to explain the processing time they never answered an email after that and now on this order I sent them like four or five emails nothing now I'm just demanding a refund because I thought their prices were so great I mean I buy poppy seeds they were 1055 a pound I found a site that gives them at 6:55 a pound and it's the same quality and they turn around and ship within a week so anyway I don't know what their excuses this time but I mean it's been almost a month and I haven't even heard from these people and it's constantly shows my order paid but unfulfilled I would never order from these people again..

Same as everyone else. Ordered, nothing ever came, nobody responded to emails. Had to chargeback through my bank to get a refund

Update to my order from La Herb that I placed on 2-9-2025. Here it is the 28th of February 2025 and I still haven’t heard from them, received my order or anything.
Okay. Update to my update. Finally received the order on 3-17-25. No email or anything just a sudden notification that it had been delivered. Product looks good.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are scammers. I ordered $60 worth of herbs on 2/6/25 and three weeks later it hasn't shipped. I've emailed them multiple times and called but was put on hold for 10 minutes. Called back several times, no answer. How are they still getting away with this and scamming so many people without repercussions?

SAME STORY AS EVERYBODY ELSE NO RESPONSE TO EMAILS, NOBODY RETURNS CALLS, NOBODY SHIPS PRODUCT $80 DOWN THE DRAIN. I HAD USED THEM 2 YEARS AGO AND RECEIVED MY ORDER VERY SLOW, BUT NOTHING LIKE THIS. A COMPLETE SCAM NOW.

As stated by so many, I should have checked reviews before ordering. La herbs is a scam, please people don't send them any money (you'll never recover it). I ordered in January and never received a tracking number or anything. Called numerous time and always got a recording. Left many messages but never received a response back.finally after many attempts a lady answered and I told her to cancel my order, she ask that I give them another week to ship my order and I foolishly agreed. I have heard nothing but crickets and I'm out over 100.00. These people are nothing but scammers. Please don't do business with them.

UPDATE: I FINALLY RECEIVED MY ORDER TODAY! So it's probably what I was saying in my original reveiw below, they did expect to be a busy / successful as they are and they can't handle the load. They just need help with customer service and quality control making sure each order is being addressed. Original Review: should've checked here first but i never have problems with herb companies. this one on the other hand terrible. purchased made on 2/6/25 label wasn't created til 2/12/25 and NOTHING ELSE since then. Not even and update email. So it is indeed looking like a scam OR an extremely disorganized business who does not know how to do business! and im in la this should've taken a few days tops it's the sole reason i went with them over others. damn near a month, no product, no communication! UNACCEPTABLE!

SCAM, they take your money and do not ship anything. No phones, no return reply.

I placed an order with LA Herb thinking I was supporting a legitimate business, but my experience has proven otherwise. They advertise "free shipping on orders over $50," yet when you actually go to check out with an order of $51 or more, they still claim you need to spend $75 to qualify. This is a clear bait-and-switch tactic, misleading customers into spending more than they originally intended.

Beyond the deceptive pricing, they took my money and never sent my order. No shipping updates, no tracking, and most importantly—no response from customer support. It’s as if they just disappear after getting your payment.

This company operates like a scam, seemingly banking on customers giving up on their purchases so they can keep the money. It’s a predatory and dishonest way to do business, and the complete lack of communication makes it clear that this isn’t just an isolated mistake—it’s a pattern.

I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Attorney General’s Office to ensure they are investigated for fraudulent practices. If you’re considering making a purchase, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Businesses like this should not be allowed to continue deceiving customers. I strongly advise against ordering from LA Herb.

I ordered some asafoetida resin pieces from LA Herb. I emailed to ask whether it was pure asafoetida. They assured me it was, and even "double-checked". A lot of asafoetida for cooking has flour and other ingredients mixed in that I'm allergic to.
But when I got their asafoetida, it looked suspiciously unlike the pure asafoetida I'd bought elsewhere. It had a whitish color and wasn't semi-translucent, which the pure asafoetida was. A lot of the pieces had a semi-cylindrical shape, and the pure asafoetida chunks were irregular in shape. It looked a lot like the Rani brand asafoetida, which has wheat flour and edible gum in the ingredients list.
It also didn't look like the picture on their website. That is just a pretty picture they dug up somewhere. There's a disclaimer saying that a real picture is coming soon, but a real picture has been "coming soon" for at least a month.
I tried 8 mg of their asafoetida, and got sick for a couple days from the allergic reaction.
They did promptly refund my money, which is the only good thing I can say about them.
Their asafoetida stayed available on their website, without any mention of other ingredients, which is illegal and endangers people with food allergies.
