I had place a order on kpop USA and later my debit card information was stolen and used. I had to contact my bank to file a claim.
Purchased my item in February, received it just yesterday. Whole point of ordering from KpopUSA was because the description says a matching member pc comes with it's corresponding member plush. I received a completely different pc than expected. Submitted a claim (along with photos and an unboxing vid) and am now waiting for someone to get back to me. Seeing how most of the reviews here are pretty bad, I'm going to assume the shop will blame the customer? And yes, I had to open the package, otherwise how else was I going to find out they sent me the wrong pc to begin with. Wondering how they will resolve this issue. We'll see.
They sent me the wrong item, and when I contacted customer service about this they refused to provide me a refund or exchange it for the actual item due to the fact that 'I had already opened the packaging'. Instead I can have the $0.50 difference between items, despite this being completely their mistake. Hope saving that $20 by screwing me over was worth it! Never buying from here again.
I live in Las Vegas. I've made about three orders after the past few months. I picked up 1 in person at the Las Vegas location and had the other two delivered by US mail.
As far as mailed items, the handling time is a bit longer than I would expect about 3-5 business days from release date but again it is not so bad that it would prevent me from ordering again.
This is a reliable place because I know I will get my items and I always have the option to pick up. It is my first place I go to for preorder albums.
Update 10/6/23: I have to reduce the number of stars for this store. I've ordered now several times in 2023 and the handling times are getting worse every order. I pre-ordered an item directly from Korea and received it 3 weeks ago. I ordered the same item at the same time I placed my korean order (to have a duplicate of it) from kpopusa store and they still haven't shipped yet. Also in 2023, they took away the option to do local pick up.
An order that was placed in January is still not received. I was told to contact the USPS to file a claim. Upon doing so, it stated that a "label was created" and not yet shipped. So, I called KPOP USA to let them know. I have been dealing with this for over a year. Today, I was informed that the "person who was working on my order" is no longer employed with them and there is nothing they can do. This is beyond comical. I will be seeking legal advice. My order totaled $354.24. Unreal. I will be contacting the BBB as well. A lot of little girls and teenage fans are being bamboozled by these crooks. Very sad situation. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE TO PURCHASE YOUR ALBUMS. Awful.
I've ordered through their website several times. Last time a poster arrived damaged in the box, and they refused to refund it even though I took the time to take photos. The excuse was lack of evidence because I didn't provide an unboxing video, which I don't do because I'm not a YouTuber. In addition, the shipping is usually extremely slow, as is their costumes service. I will not be ordering here again
at first, they did not send a confirmation email. but a few days after I ordered, I emailed them. They responded in under 5 minutes! Personally, I felt very lucky. They sent me a confirmation email and when I got it, it said the package is already at my post office! They have two-day shipping which I didn’t know lol- my review is that I will definitely buy again and I recommend!
i ordered a lightstick and it wouldn’t turn on, i tried everything including switching out the batteries for new ones at least 10 times, i contacted them via email about my problem and it took them several days to get back to me, they told me to try holding the on button down and i told them i already had done that, it took them almost a week to reply again. i kept going back and forth with them about how to fix my lightstick, i didn’t want a refund, just a replacement. i spent $70 on this lightstick and i wanted it to AT LEAST work. they then sent me an email saying that they couldn’t issue a refund or a replacement after 7 days of my order being delivered DESPITE me contacting them immediately after it arrived. it took so long for them to respond to my emails that now im stuck with a broken lightstick. i’ve never ordered from them before this, but ill never order from them again.
Their customer service is absolutely horrible. I wasn't given any updates about my package except for one email, it took an incredible long time to ship out, and my parents couldn't even track the package. The box was in horrible condition when it arrived at my house and my album was damaged. I will NEVER order anything from this site again.
Store is suspicious. Many items being sold as official but they are not. In violation of copyright infringement. No photos or video allowed in store. Staff are aggressive.
Bought from them three times. Always received my order until the second order (third order was a preorder and it arrived quickly). My second order was my most expensive order from them. I ordered it during corvid and they were having a fulfilment shortage so I didn’t think too much about having to wait longer then usual. Months go by and they never shipped out my order. Called them a lot of times to ask for updates about my order but they always give me the same response “give us time and we will contact you as soon as our system loads up”. They never called me back and each time I called them back instead. It’s been about 11 months since then and never received my items and never got a call back. They have horrible customer service. Don’t buy from them and I encourage anyone who comes across this review to research their unhappy customers. This store refuses to accept their wrongdoings and mistakes. Don’t take the risk that I took and risk losing your hard earned money.
Horrible customer service , horrible policies . My orders were placed on hold due to an album being delayed . I received no communication until
I called about it. The customer service rep put me on hold for 15 min to check my status and then hung up without ever getting back on the phone . I had to call back another 2 times to finally speak to someone about my order . I had to cancel the album that was delaying the processing of my $260 purchase so I would get my items in time for Christmas . ( order was placed on Dec 1) my second order , all of the above happened again , this time I will not get my order in time for Christmas ( order placed on Dec 8 ) I even spoke to a manager with no resolution . I will be taking my business back to Amazon , where I actually get everything I order and receive daily communications around the status of my orders .
Just a warning, they're really understaffed rn so expect your pre-ordered album to take at least 3 weeks to arrive AFTER the release of the comeback. The packaging is very safe but their website isn't updated AT ALL. I ordered an older album and never heard from them for about a month--had to call just to find out that they didn't even have that album anymore so keep that in mind when ordering albums from this place. The issue is being resolved ultimately, but if I don't get a refund, I'll let you guys know.
AWFUL customer service. BEWARE OF ORDERING ONLINE. If you receive a damaged/faulty product, they WILL NOT replace or refund.
