First (and last) time with KittyMart
First time with KittyMart, price looked good. Confirmation email said they would notify me when despatched. A week later no email, nothing. Chasing up by email it seems that they had a stock issue, and had ordered the item from Amazon for delivery to me. Indeed I'd had an unexpected parcel arrive, addressed to someone else, and without the usual "your Amazon order is out for delivery" notification. I was already in touch with Amazon about returning the incorrectly addressed package and hope I don't incur return charges now I've had to cancel the courier picking it up.
If you're out of stock, just tell people at order time.
If you make alternative arrangements, communicate - as you'd promised.
The delay in discovering the food was on the doorstep meant I had to get "emergency" supplies from the supermarket, negating any saving in cost.

Whenever an item is low or out of stock, we sometimes source products from other trusted suppliers or distributors to ensure our customers still receive their order — in this case, this is why the parcel arrived from elsewhere. When we do this, our aim is always to secure the best possible price for our customers — often at a lower cost than many other retailers including Amazon which is where you received the package from
The mistake on the name on the package is also our fault, and I completely understand how confusing that must have been. We are already working on improving our processes to prevent this from happening again.
We’ve also taken on board your comments about being upfront when stock is low and keeping customers better informed when alternative arrangements are made. Your feedback will help us improve our systems so we can provide a smoother experience in the future.
I’m truly sorry again for the frustration caused, and we appreciate you giving KittyMart a try.
Slow delivery with no communication
Usually I cannot say anything about the service, this time my delivery took a bit longer than expected without communication. They have acknowledged the situation and have been professional in this. It hasn't put me off ordering.
