Awful customer service and sales…

Awful customer service and sales support for such expensive products. I was extremely hopeful that I had found a new great source for high quality keyboards, but these folks don't support their products and their sale strategies leave a lot to be desired. They leave you hanging after a purchase. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!

Keys Not Registering

I paid a very premium price and instead of using my $250 keychron q2, it collects dust as I use a $25 Amazon keyboard. Very quickly keys started not registering for first a second or two, but then for 5+ seconds. I of course ordered new switches and replaced any that had this occur. I think this helped some, but still it was so unreliable and frustrating I just gave up on it.

Verkäufer sitzt in China - NICHT GERMANY!

Ware kommt aus China! Lange Lieferzeiten! Bei Rückgabe wird Rückversand nach China verlangt! Das wären dann über 50% vom Warenwert! Ich empfehle, lieber woanders kaufen und nicht bei den Chinesen! Da zahle ich lieber ein paar Euro mehr und habe ordentliche Ware und ordentliche Abwicklung!

Poor production QA

I am referring more to a production than store itself. The keyboard I bought was Keychron V6 Max and I have started experiencing issues from day one lol. One button requires significant press force to be registered or certain angle, I've tried replacing the switch with the included one but it did not help. Never had such an issue,even cheap chinese mechanical keyboards work better lol

Do not know why they have received so poor reviews here, might honestly be because people do not realise how warranty works when buying parts and building yourself.

Returned a product to Keychron and had a very poor refund experience

Two major issues:

* They did not process my refund after receiving the return. Tracking showed the item was delivered to their warehouse, and three weeks passed with no refund. I only received it after I followed up myself. If I hadn’t chased them, I’m not convinced I would have been refunded at all.

* They withheld sales tax on the refunded merchandise. They refunded the item price but kept the sales tax attributable to the product, even though they only claim shipping is non-refundable. They claim this is clearly disclosed in their return policy, but it is not. Even if it was disclosed, it would be illegal. You cannot retain sales tax on refunded purchases.

The support responses were polite, but they simply repeated policy language instead of addressing the actual issue.

I would be very cautious buying direct from Keychron if there’s any chance you may need to return something.

Poor Service

Keychron makes good keyboards, and that is why I became a repeat customer. But customer retention does not depend on product quality alone — it depends on how a company treats customers when support is needed. In my case, the warranty issue only started to move after several reminders and after I explicitly referred to legal consumer protection. That is how even loyal customers are lost: not because of the product itself, but because of poor service after the sale.

Poor quality worse customer service

I used the M6 mouse for about 6 months before I noticed a loose piece inside that sometimes blocks the left mouse button. I approached the customer service in December of 2025 with this issue as they are obligated to check if there has been a manufacturing mistake and repair or refund the mouse under EU regulations. 4 Months later they still want me to send more and more videos or start the warranty process all over by asking the same questions again.

Can not recommend this or any other Keychron product if this is how they handle warranty issues.

Zero customer service

I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a keyboard from Keychron to think twice. The keyboards themselves may look great on paper, but if anything goes wrong you are essentially on your own. In my experience, customer service is practically non-existent. Emails go unanswered, support requests seem to disappear into a void, and getting any meaningful help is incredibly frustrating.

For a company selling premium-priced products, the lack of after-sales support is completely unacceptable. When you spend £180.00 on a keyboard, you expect at least basic customer service if a problem arises. Unfortunately, that simply wasn’t my experience.

The only saving grace is that in the UK consumers are protected when paying by credit card for purchases over £100 under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. Fortunately I was able to use this protection and get a full refund through my card provider.

Without that protection, I suspect I would still be chasing Keychron for a response. Based on my experience, I would not buy from them again.

BUYER BEWARE! For a 250$ keyboard, this is my own fault for not sticking to a mainstream brand.

Poor quality keyboards

I ordered a wired C2 Pro 8K from Keychron and the USB port on the keyboard was misaligned. I couldn't even plug the wire into the keyboard, making it completely useless. I contacted support to get it replaced, but instead they suggested I try taking the keyboard back off myself and see if I could fix it. So I said okay, I'll try. That was a mistake. I should have insisted they replace it for me, because trying to disassemble the keyboard was one of the most physically intensive and mentally taxing experiences I've ever faced with a product I purchased. For one thing, Keychron's website does not have adequate or specific instructions on how to disassemble their models, the only detail I was able to get was "2. Use slider or other tools to insert into the keyboard housing and then remove it," which only showed a picture of a piece of paper being wedged into the keyboard. I had to grab a butterknife to get enough leverage to pry it off, damaging it just like I was afraid I would. Overall, it was an extremely frustrating experience and I decided it wasn't worth all the hassle I had to deal with. I've requested a refund and am now waiting on a response.

My advice for anyone who is considering buying a keychron: Don't.

Silence after sending Keyboard for refund

After more than a month of unprofessional back-and-forth with customer support, I was finally given an address to send my faulty device to for a refund. Sent it 20 days ago, the package arrived 14 days ago. No response.

Tastaturen sind gut, aber der Support nicht

Grundsätzlich sind die Tastaturen von Keychron nicht schlecht. Mein Freund hat die Q6 Max bestellt und ist absolut zufrieden. Sie klingt gut, fühlt sich hochwertig an und hat viele Einstellungsmöglichkeiten. Ich habe mir danach eine Q5 bestellt und war schockiert: für fast denselben Preis wie die Q6 Max hört sich das Board hohl an, die Keycaps fühlen sich wie billiges Plastik an und selbst die ausgewählten Switche klingen laut, obwohl ich leisere gewählt habe. Das hat leider nicht meinen persönlichen Qualitätsanforderungen entsprochen.
Für die Rücksendung musste ich den Versand selbst bezahlen und eine Mail an Keychron mit den ganzen Daten schicken. In anderen Bewertungen habe ich schon gelesen, dass Keychron einen teilweise abwimmeln soll mit "nicht eingehaltenen Rückgabezeiten", weswegen ich darauf geachtet habe, mich rechtzeitig nach dem Stand der Rücksendung zu erkundigen.
Im Januar habe ich den Rücksendeantrag eingereicht, 6 Tage später war das Paket laut Sendungsverfolgung bei Ihnen angekommen.
Wiederum 10 Tage nach dem Ankommen des Pakets wurde mir auf (erst auf Nachfrage hin) erklärt, sie könnten mir aufgrund meiner Einstellungen kein Geld auszahlen und ich solle doch prüfen, ob ich Chargeback aktiviert habe (Der letzte fehlgeschlagener Versuch war wohl schon 4 Tage nach Ankommen des Pakets, es hat sich aber keiner bei mir gemeldet). PayPal sah gut aus und über die Website konnte man Chargeback nirgendwo "auswählen", da so eine Rücksendung hier ausschließlich über Mail läuft.
Dann hieß es, sie wüssten persönlich nicht, wie man in Paypal die Zahlungsfunktion oä benutzt (vielleicht ein Azubi?) und die Erstattung wäre fehlgeschlagen.
Ich habe nochmal meine PayPal Einstellungen geprüft, aber sonst gab es auch noch nie Probleme mit Rückzahlungen bei mir.
Also habe ich angeboten, selbst eine Zahlung über PayPal anzufragen. Jetzt, 20 Tage nach Ankommen des Paktes, habe ich keine weitere Antwort erhalten.
Etwas weniger als ein Monat ist zwar noch okay als Zeit für eine Rückerstattung, aber heutzutage ist man doch schon deutlich Besseres gewohnt.
Positiv lässt sich allerdings hervorheben, dass die Tastatur innerhalb von etwa zwei Tagen nach der Bestellung bei mir angekommen ist. Auch, wenn die Tastatur nicht zufriedenstellend war, habe ich mich über die schnelle Lieferung gefreut.

Nachtrag: Ein Monat ist doch nicht okay, ich habe jetzt erst erfahren, dass es eine 14 Tage Frist für Rückerstattungen durch Unternehmen gibt. Nächsten Samstag wird ein PayPal Konflikt geöffnet.

Hot swappable keyboard is niet…

Hot swappable keyboard is niet hotswappable! Het is echt slecht hoe hun website in elkaar steekt. je krijgt blijkbaar alleen als je kiest voor kleuren backlight de optie voor een hotswappable switches. nu heb ik meer dan 50 euro aan switches waar ik helemaal niks mee kan.

Ze moeten dit echt beter adverteren aangezien ze het wel een "hotswappable option" geven is het nogsteeds waardeloos dat je een keuze bied zonder hotswap. Hoe moet ik ooit aan een keyboard komen zonder kleuren backlights en hotswappable switches?

Nou kan ik de hele keyboard niet gebruiken voor werk op mijn kantoor echt super fijn.

Bought other half a Q6 that had a faulty switch from brand new, reached out to them, they sent me 5 new switches immediately. I don't doubt prior reviews - but my experience with them customer service wise has been great.

Faulty keyboard and no help from them to resolve the issue

Very similar to other reviews. I bought a B1P-K8-UK directly. It had faulty cursor keys. I reached out to the support team who drip fed me one thing to try at a time (update the firmware, use a test matrix, remove and reattach the keys) - each step with multiple days in between responses and with instructions that didn't work first time. Finally, they admitted the keyboard was faulty but only offered to ship me a replacement if I paid a 10 Euro shipping fee. On what planet is this legal or morally okay to demand further fees from the customer when they have provided the customer with a non-working product! I declined this 'offer' and they stopped replying to me. I wish I had read the TrustPilot reviews to begin with, but hopefully my review along with all of the others can be a warning to potential future customers. Avoid!

Website LIES, Australia stock is different than advertised.

I bought two C2 Pro keyboards from Keychron Australia based on their website saying "RGB lighting and hot-swappable switches". What arrived had white backlight only and permanently soldered switches. When I emailed them with screenshots of their own website, they admitted the RGB was a "wording error" and said they don't actually stock hot-swappable versions in Australia - yet it's still advertised as a feature on their .au site. They refused to replace the keyboards with ones matching the advertised specs. I paid with paypal and have requested a refund via them. If you don't stock certain features in Australia, don't advertise them on your Australian website without making it obvious during checkout. This is misleading and I reported them to the ACCC. Save yourself the hassle and buy from somewhere else...

Worst customer support experience I’ve ever had

This is honestly the worst online shopping + support experience I’ve ever had.

I placed an order on January 6th and heard nothing for two weeks. Only after contacting support myself did I receive any information, and even then I was first told that only a palm rest was out of stock. Days later, I was informed that the keyboard itself was also out of stock — with no restock plans.

I asked whether they had a comparable alternative, and they suggested a keyboard costing $230, while the one I originally ordered cost $80 — nearly three times the price. Despite the situation being caused entirely by their lack of stock transparency and communication, I was expected to pay the full price difference, with no goodwill, discount, or flexibility offered.

Nothing was communicated proactively, and the order was eventually cancelled after more than three weeks. Extremely poor handling and communication throughout the entire process.

Drecks Unternehmen schlechter Kundenservice schlecht verarbeitet Software Mängelhaft lasst besser die Finger davon geht lieber zu Logitech oder Asus , hab vor 3monaten das Keyboard gekauft es hat Probleme vom Werk aus und Keychron ist keine Hilfe beim Rücktritt vom Kauf
