I've been a member of various gyms since the 1980's and this is the best one ever.
Staff are friendly and welcoming.
The gym is extremely well equipped with free weights, weight & cardio machinery, all of which are kept in good working order, clean and tidy.
The changing rooms are kept spotlessly clean, as is the relaxing sauna.
The location, in Cleveleys, is superb. There's an expanse of free parking behind the building.
Views, from the mezzanine floor, of the Irish Sea crashing against the sea wall, are spectacular.
It's a pleasurable experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend this gym.

Plenty of equipment, it's just a shame that all the cardio equipment is facing the weight training area in stead of facing the window/ sea front. When using the weights I don't really want to have 20+ people looking in my direction!

Great gym, always clean and tidy with an excellent combination of modern equipment. A good variety of scheduled classes including spin, zumba and body pump. Friendly and approachable staff. Would definetly recommend and all for a really good price.

The gym is smart, modern and clean. It makes an inviting area to come into, with friendly and helpful staff who aren't pushy.
It would be nice to have more area downstairs to stretch or put out a yoga mat and more Pilates or yoga classes running but apart from that it's great.

I've used many gyms over the last 30 years and few have come close to being good as this place. Not only is there a lot of kit (bit of an understatement) but it is good quality. I don't use machines as I train for functionality but the vast array of plate loading and pin loading machines is incredible. They have dumbbells as heavy as most would need, numerous adjustable benches, 4 flat bench press along with incline and decline, areas dedicated for functional training and an oly lifting platform with bumper plates. The cardio section is also immense so regardless if how busy it is, you can always get some kit to work with. I mainly train in Olympic lifting and gymnastics and this place has got it all covered. All that and it's cheap as chips as well. Love it!

Nightmare trying to use the app to get in or out. Wifi is totally useless , cannot listen to book on it. Staff play background music too loudly.

The gym I go to Jd's gym Thornton Cleveleys is very good massive floor space! Dozens of cardio machines like treadmills, cross-trainers, steppers. Tons of free weights, dozens of weight benches, Squat racks, resistance machines, dumbbells, functional area, rowers and stretching area upstairs!

Lots of classes to choose from, Spin, Zumba, Body Combat, Body Pump ,Yoga and Pilates! They even have Sauna I believe but it's not something that'd appeal to myself!

All at 19.99 a month! Been going to this gym for under a month but I can say it's a great gym for the money you pay! Great Value for Money!

An amazing gym with lots of training equipment and staff are very friendly. The classes are awesome.

Very helpful staff, lovely people in the gym, they leave you alone and keep themselves to themselves, I haven't felt like I am being judged which is a massive thing, I recommend JD Gyms to anybody who wants to get fit and work with at your space without judgement.

The staff are excellent, friendly and approachable. The shower area is clean and tidy and the gym itself is excellent. I'm finding it hard to motivate myself after work to get up and go to the gym but once I'm back on track I'll be in the gym more regularly. I want to see a slimmer healthier version of myself. No staff around, had to search for someone to help me . No cloth available to clean machines after use

Good gym with a good selection of machines and well spaced out but a major disappointment is the extreme bright lights especially at 6 in the morning just no need for that kind of lighting in a gym, you should follow in the steps of your Blackpool gym regarding the lighting situation

Very disappointed. I joined online on Saturday 16th July and emailed to book an induction. I received a reply instructing me to telephone, which I did but no one answered. Over the following 11 days I telephoned repeatedly and left answerphone messages but no one ever got back to me. I emailed again and received a response apologising and stating I would get a telephone call that day to book the induction. The call never came so in frustration I cancelled my membership!

JD Gym Thornton Cleveleys. Really enjoy the classes, especially HIIT and Ride with Kerrie. In fact if it wasn’t for Kerrie I would never have done any classes. She really encourages you to do your best.

Brilliant range of equipment, mostly friendly staff, good air conditioning. To improve, I think the showers could be cleaned more thoroughly and although it is difficult to sort the wifi, perhaps the staff could be keener/more pleasant with letting people in when it isn't working (sometimes there's been a queue).

I am a lady coming up to 60 and I think you should have a time when you can go and it's not full of young people who are very intimidating to the older generation I either have to go very early or quite late as not to be greeted by crowds of young people

Gym was fine, however I couldn't get in or out using the code provided or the app. Member of staff was going to email the admin team
