JD Gyms - Rugby Anmeldelser 

Most the staff are ignorant (not all) I was in the gym for just over a hour the other week and a young member of staff was sat on his phone when I walked in, and when I left he was still sat in the same position. I’m not sure if he had moved and it was just coincidence but it didn’t look great.
Most the members using the gym just drop the weights and slam them around this doesn’t do the weights any good and it’s no wonder half the equipment is broken.
The amount of “kids” that use this gym in the afternoon is amazing, they squirrel the weights and leave hardly anything under 20kg in the racks, they mess around I’ve even seen them chasing each other through the gym.
Glad it’s a cheap gym.

Where is the air con surely with the money you make off your members each month you can provide a decent air conditioning system it’s like coming out of a sauna after a work out the worst gym I have used by some distance from an air con point of view an keeping customers cool it’s 2022 jd not 1980 this shouldn’t be an issue. This is the rugby jd gym not sure what others are like.

Great gym, good atmosphera friendly staff.

Nice atmosphere, polite people. Alot of machines to choose from. Even if your machine or anything you want to use is occupied you can still find and use an alternative and work that same muscle group just as well.

Too hot ! Where is air condition ?

Old, dated, rusted equipment. No air conditioning.
The gym is the only one large enough and cheap enough in rugby. Hence why it has members.
I go because, again, as stated, it has space. For equipment wise it's not good at. It's not the range of equipment but the up keep.
The gym is clean, but feels like everything needs a good layer of dw40. The machines need updating and new pads, especially need adding to the seated calf raise machine.

Very accommodating gym, great staff, very helpful

As a beginner in the gym I found very friendly staff members. Always happy to help and advice. Strongly recommended.

I'm satisfied with the gym.

Used a treadmill full speed , pressed emergency stop the machine was still going so I assumed it wasn’t working and low and behold the button had Come off. Thankfully I managed to slow down by myself but quite worrying. Also no staff members on at this time on a Sunday when it was relatively busy . Which is a security risk.

Brilliant work out experience with Girls in the hostel were asking what happened,i didn't know what to say and friendly staff.

Great Gym, so easy to use the gear, the staff are brill and so helpful,
The price is great and for me it’s just round the corner, good parking, it’s a well used Gym but with so much equipment that’s never a problem. At 63 years old it’s given me back the want to train again. As I said at the start A GREAT GYM.

As a gym novice i have found a wide selection of classes suitable to my availability, Equipment and premises kept very clean and tidy and happy staff.

Clean, well equipped gym, good for the price.

Lots of cardio treadmills out of order and some weight lifting machines too. They should pay attention to this... For the rest the gym is nice
