Very modern gym. Absolute dream if your workout consists of deadlifts and squats. Probably one of the few gyms in Newcastle with more than two proper squat racks! Plenty of deadlift stations also.... Vis mer

I actually enjoy going to the gym now
I actually enjoy going to the gym now, I mostly go to classes, they are fun and exhausting in the best way. I been a member for months now and I cant fault a thing. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, manager Claire Reay is lovely and very helpful. Very clean gym with everything you need. I would defiantly recommend to anyone looking for a new gym.

The best gym in the area
The best gym in the area! Has amazing equipment and rooms with a range of classes. I love the lighting in the rooms too, the prs and class teachers are all great too!

Why I joined JD
Why I joined JD -
- it’s great value (£20 for one gym or £25 for access to all gyms) and no contract. My last gym was a pain to leave and more expensive.
- there are three JD gyms near where I live so I have a great choice of classes, and one of them is open 24 hours
- there are loads of equipment and machines
- the studios are big and clean and modern
- the instructors and classes are great with lots of availability at various times and days of the week
- I love that you don’t have to book and there’s always been enough spaces on classes so far
- it always feels clean and has everything you need facilities wise
My only minor issue was trying to buy a padlock from a vending machine that charged me but didn’t give me the padlock. And no one was around to ask for assistance. So I wouldn’t trust the vending machines again. Other than that, great gym!

Just done Ali donaldsons spin class and it was that good I even stayed and done the double spin. Please bring Ali back doing hiitstep and spin!
