Excellent gym
Excellent gym, affordable and a well treated training area. Coming from David Lloyd, JD gym has already surpassed my past experiences with other gyms.
The entry system is easy to use and quick and the overall selection of machines is amazing. Nothing is ever too occupied and if it is, there is plenty of other machines to use.

a lot of problems
1.Gym is so dark.
2.There is not enough equipment and devices, there is only one leg press, one leg extensions, one lying leg curls machine and one hack squat that is more than two weeks out of order, for use them you have wait in queue for at least 15 minutes.
3.The dumbbells are irregular and their number is less and not enough for all athletes.
4.for taking shower water is so hot really burning body after exercise we don’t need hot water this is simple a lot of time we told to staff but unfortunately nobody care i’m disappointed in this gym.

Boiling showers
Not enough facilities for the number of costumers.
Shower is boiling and despite reporting it in three different occasions nothing been done about it.
Good news is it is cleaner than most of the gyms.

Very poor condition equipment
Quite a large selection of machines but not much point if a lot of its broken. Most of the equipment is very old (from when it was xercise4less). VERY small selection of dumbbells and plates (good luck finding a 5kg plate, never mind 2 of them). Aircon is very poor (admittedly better than nothing though). Really badly needs a total refurbishment. Not a patch on the close South Liverpool branch (Leg press is better in belle vale though). All in all I wouldn't recommend this branch to anyone.

Belle Vale
My husband, 2 sons and myself are all members at JD Gym in Belle Vale. I felt I had to write to let you know that the staff here are knowledgeable, cheerful and extremely helpful. In the past I have dreaded training but now it is a pleasure to train here. I must mention Danny who works at this gym. He ALWAYS has a smile on his face. He is a true asset to your company.

Our staff are always on hand at our gyms walking around but the green buttons near the entrance, if you press that it will alert a member of staff to your presence who can come and assist you.

I just don't think it's worth the price…
I just don't think it's worth the price charged I was previously with xercise4less before jd same gym but these took over but no better for double what they charge its just not worth the double payment monthly for exact same service previously given in the exact same gym so I've cancelled my membership an will Look for an alternative for a much worthy price
