To many underage kids and very untidy gym, weights are all on the floor, dumbells all over the place etc

We do ask all members to follow gym etiquette by returning weights after use so the gym remains safe and accessible for everyone. All members must meet the minimum age requirement to use the gym, and the team are able to request ID if there is any doubt. If you notice equipment left out or behaviour that’s impacting your workout, please let a member of the team know so they can assist.

Great to be back & lots of improvement…
Great to be back & lots of improvement have been done however I personally think that the men's changing rooms needs updating & new lockers needs to be installed as a lot of them are unusable & has been like it for a long time.

Absolutely terrible experience
Absolutely terrible experience. I was told when I joined that I could cancel at any time. I informed JD Gyms before this month started that I wanted to cancel because I had already moved out of the area and was no longer using the gym. Despite this, they still charged my account for this month.
I contacted them several times by email, but they did not respond properly. They cancelled my membership but still took payment, which is unfair and very misleading. Leaving this review so others are aware.

Never too old, all welcome
I'm 60 years old, and reasonably fit regularly playing pickleball but I wanted to increase the intensity of my exercise, nothing too fancy, just more cardio to extend my stamina for an hour session three times a week. I've found JD Gyms Harlow to be the right solution for me. Ideal location, great gym equipment options, great facilities, water on tap, well managed, accessible (open Bank Holidays) and free parking too. What I love is when you see inclusivity. There is a lift to overcome the stairs. As a gym goer I cannot support enough the access to all comers whatever their circumstance. I would recommend, so If you're in the area give it a try

I go at quite times which is great as I don't like crowds ,you have the right equipment which I need, haven't met the staff as I go late ,and the people I do see get on with what they came for, nothing I would need you to improve, overall very happy with gym

New Gym Goer
I signed up to the gym last week after an injury to utilize equipment to help my injury and i have been more than happy with the ease of using the app the application process to sign up.
I have spoken to staff members in the gym who have been more than helpful and the gym itself if very spacious, bright and clean. Overall very happy

Unclean
The gym is my sanctuary, however JD gym Harlow is serverly lacking in cleanliness im sick of seeing bloody toes/finger nails on the floor when your trying to work out. It's so off putting and im seriously considering leaving and finding somewhere cleaner. How hard is it to maintain cleanliness??

Access denied after 3days email said issue with payment issue was not my end
Only 1 male toilet which was blocked
Male staff used it before I entered and left it blocked should at least notified someone
Female staff was polite and unblocked it

Glad to be back at JD Gyms
I’ve always liked this gym and was pleased to return after an abrupt departure a year ago due to personal reasons. I particularly enjoy the classes - they’re varied and well structured. The fitness instructors are warm and enthusiastic, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I’m also looking forward to working with a personal trainer in the future for a more tailored programme.
