JD Gyms - Blackpool Anmeldelser 

The gym is fine and the staff great, just not sure why the sauna isn't open as they have been allowed to open since the last easing and other gyms are using theirs {Bannatynes, my wife goes there}.

New gym with plenty of equipment and loose weights. Rarely have to wait to perform the exercise I am planning to do
Slight criticism might be that the app will only let you in once per day. For anyone wanting to work out twice it can be a pain getting a staff member to let you in the second time.

It's been great. Staff are professional. Classes are engaging. John is lovely and always asks how you are. Manager always on hand to talk. Great experience so far.

Spacious, clean, not over crowded and I feel very comfortable there. Ive not used a gym for over 20 years as I'm not slim, fit etc. So being comfortable is really important to me and JD Gym Blackpool has made me feel like I fit in. Love going at least 3 times a week.

Fantastic place and very helpful staff.. got some fantastic equipment and easy to use.. best gym in Blackpool.

Good equipment levels and helpful friendly staff

The Gym is very well equipped but for the new blackpool branch some very annoying flaws.
1. aircon not working and the temperature in the heat has caused me several times to go home as lifting very heavy weight and heat could cause someone to pass out when working out.
2. the fixed weights there are not smaller weights on the bars so you can not fine tune your lifting you are stuck with what is on the rack only.
3. weight in pounds, unless were all going over to America we moved to the metric system in the 80s. Be charging us in shillings next.

Other than that its a good gym

Good power plant. The only thing I changed is reduced the temperature and activated the activity bet in the app

I enjoy using the gym it’s clean and friendly and machinery is nearly always available.

This is the best gym that I've been to. The staff are great and helpful and theres a nice atmosphere. The machines are kept sanitized and the place is really clean.

Really enjoyed Zumba class in the Wednesday and Friday morning

Brilliant gym and equipment, however WI-FI has stopped working and it’s so so hot when exercising why is the air conditioning not working in the morning ?

So far the gym is looking amazing and a good vibe, however it is super busy and tricky to get on some equipment. I also feel there is room for more equipment, for example a glute machine like in Cleveleys. I’d also like to see Paul back doing Pilates 🙌🏼
The running machine area is unbearably warm and finding it difficult to utilise
I’m more than happy with the gym and am sure it will settle over time

Such a good experience, clean, friendly staff. Couldn’t recommend more. Use JD gym in Manchester and the one here is miles better!
