Great item but p&p expensive and excessive
Great item - but packaging was ridiculous. 2 very small items that would have fit through a letter box instead came in a box that could have fit hundreds in. P&P cost and packaging itself could and should be less for small items. I appreciate the response that has been posted but using a small paper recyclable jiffy bag for small items that will fit through a letter box would help to improve the customer experience as items sent would not need to be left on a doorstep, re-delivered or collected from a depot. This may also imorove delivery times.

While we can appreciate your comments, our primary concern is to ensure that the items are delivered quickly and without damage.
We recycle packaging as much as we possibly can to help the environment. The box we used for your shipment was the smallest that we regularly use.
Our couriers do not offer us differential pricing based on package size, and if we made up individual packaging for specific deliveries we would have to increase our prices to accommodate the additional labour costs.
We hope that you have not been too inconvenienced, and that you enjoy your ironmongery.

Unfortunately they couldn't fulfill my order because of outside supplier. They let me know quickly and I cancelled the order and received a refund within a couple of days. I would certainly use them again if required.

Top company, not only are the prices good, delivery excellent and web site easy, my original order was not fit for job due to my own ordering error but they discounted the original purchase and also discounted the replacement handles, couldn't really ask for more. Will be using again

It was not clear on our checkout page that Elavon was our payment processor, used to process all types of card payments.
We have now changed this to "Elavon All Card Payments" and added the card logos for Visa, Mastercard etc.
