A big thank you to Irish Life.

The cover provided was exactly what I needed, the claims process was simple, overall a great experience

After checking with an Irish Life customer agent I was able to go for my procedure with complete confidence about my cover. As an older customer I like to be dealing person to person and this was facilitated by Irish Life in a courteous, informative manner.

Irish Life is great because the way you're health policy is explained and the knowledge the agents have in answering any questions. Claims are easy to make and promptly paid. No complaints really.

In the past we had to deal with various health insurances in various countries - i.e. mostly my husband dealt with them - but being a widow I did it. I could not have been more satisfied and impressed by your service - thank you very much indeed.

Avoid at all costs. Irish Life are a despicable company to deal with. From the unhelpful customer support, to downright rude complaints handler. They are a company that are quick to take your money but very slow to return it. We had an absolute horrid time dealing with them and intend to shed light on our dealings with them with the ombudsman. Avoid at all costs.

A special thanks to Aine Gleeson for her prompt and professionalism in dealing with the mortage protection and financial review l needed assistance with. It was all new to me as a first time buyer and Aine explained each step of the process clearly so l always felt supported with areas l found difficult. Aine was always prompt in response to any questions l needed answering and worked around my working hours to facilitate same. Overall l couldn’t have done it with Aines support and assistance and l am delighted with the final policy. Thank you so much Aine.

Waiting nearly a month for a simple request on a pension status. Each response from “happytohelp” customer services takes a week. Finally they found my pension and direct me to a portal that is just marketing promotions personalised - no details, nothing what I asked for. Compared to all other pension companies they have taken a month so far. Basic information should be emailed and directed to me. Simply and effectively. Will probably spend another month now waiting for details. Update: Still waiting despite writing back to this reply. They will probably take 5 working days - no escalation - Think I need to move up the organisation and highlight via X.

I've been with Irish life I think about 10 yes, always treated very well with my hospital cover. Cost has gone up so much over the years
App could be more user friendly especially when searching for consultants etc but they are very efficient at repayment to be made

If I could give minus 10 for customer services I would, I have been trying for over two weeks to start the process to cash in my two pensions and Irish Life have made this very difficult for me by sending me out multiple complicated forms that only a broker would know how to complete, even when I tell them exactly what I want to do and my choices they ignore me. I am also getting multiple emails on a daily basis from different people in Irish life and tbh I am sick of it now.

This is my money that I am entitled to cash in and they are causing me huge amounts of stress and I am going to report them to the financial ombudsman.

Irish Life need people who can understand the English language and dont converse like robots. I was lucky to be in a position to deal through a Health Insurance Broker who was most helpful.

I was very at ease talking and asking questions and i got an answer i understood so for that to me was brillent

Going back and forth with emails just to collect my little Apple pension (which I was forced to contribute due to Ireland law change) just before leaving the country for good.
First time the form that was sent was not on the portal then it did not have the option to receive direct refund...called them and the agent did not help at all so I sent another email and after a few days I received a response that it was a mistake and a new form will be sent. Just got the email once again form is nowhere to be found on the portal and had to ask AGAIN to send the form to me directly....I'm giving 2 stars and not one just because I will get the promised refund in the end but the process...oh the process can kill any patient person...
