Irish Life Health has clearly defined policies and a very good customer service level.

While our advisor was brilliant. The endless delays in approving documents and even to send out policy schedules delayed our completion date significantly. They take a ridiculous amount of time to approve signatures and to send out documents once the policy is in place. Nevermind requiring invasive medical checks when they decline based on weight alone anyway.

Excellent review of the options available in retirement. I was provided with clear direction and feel more informed and in control.

American style health insurance has arrived.
Want a simple scan you go to ‘Check my Cover’ only to find your covered at a hospital that isn’t taking new outpatients.
So you’re not covered.
‘Escalation’ team are pitiful.
Do not switch to IL they won’t cover you when you really need them.

Fraud statements by this company like they can remove
Trustees. Trustees have statutory powers to manage pensions. Very poor performance. Will not fix problems. Long list over years of fraud statements Irish Life does not have right to make law.

Irish Life Health have no issue taking your money but don’t provide the services set out in the policy.
They are impossible to reason with and are basically a scam.

Staff in customer services were a disgrace until I got through to complaints dept and then my claim was dealt with efficiently and I got my money back for the claim

Scum. Ignores actual illnesses and has their paid for "independant" doctors deny claims with there being a clear incentive for these doctors to do so despite significant evidence and reports to the contrary. As someone who did work in the industry their decision making and processes around chronic debillitating illnesses are disgusting if not straight up dangerous. I would encourage everyone and anyone to seek cover for anything elsewhere, their fund management services alone should be enough to keep companies away never mind their vile insurance practices. If ever there were an instuitution that deserved to be torn down and scattered to the wind it's Irish Life

Update: 14 days later and still no response. i have written every mail adress that i can find on your website. What is going on? this is crazy treatment from your corporate team. i am working for one of you largest clients and cant get a respone

UPDATE: 4 days later and i haven't heard back from the customer care mail or the mail that i originally contacted. Pretty shitty service.

I have been writing back and forth with them for a few weeks now about a pretty standard process. Every time i write it takes 5-10 days for them to respond on the same thread.

AVOID. It's a scam. I had a car accident and spinal surgery and they gave over 5 different reasons not to cover each time to waste time. It's been nearly a year and I'm getting the bills after the surgery now. They hope you just go away. They said my surgeon filled out the wrong side of surgery on the forms. Need to prove I had a car accident etc etc. However now they are saying it's preexisting condition or a condition not previously covered by them? I have had to undergo the headache of recruiting a legal team to dispute this. I'm a doctor and have experience in the field the surgery was in. I know they are waffling around with terms to try and put me off.
