I cancelled my credit card because of iqbrain helping themselves to more of my money. This was a real pain as it was my recurring payments account. I was told to contact iqbrain with further information ( again) which I did or my review would be removed. Their response was a crack up - I was told ‘Upon checking it appears that the charges mentioned did not originate from our website’ and 'to contact the relevant department to resolve your query, recipient as it seems there has been an error regarding the recipient’. Funny how the initial charge was by iqbrain then the next 2 were to iqbrain. I could see no difference in the recipients. Oh, and I have still not been refunded the two extra payments they took out- $11.76 . This is a laughable attempt to weasel out of the refund and a bad review.

Mieser Nutzloser Ramsch für teures Geld
Da wird man mit einem Test gelockt. Nach Abschluß desselbigen kommt die Frage: Wo dürfen wir das Ergebnis hinschicken? Natürlich kommt nix an, erst wenn man 1,98€ bezahlt. Das kommt aber nicht VORHER sondern wenn man schon den Test und die e-mail Adresse angegeben hat. Was soll das? Für copy and paste mit einem minderwertigen Test wollen die auch noch Geld. Macht man mit, landet man in einem nutz-und wertlosen Abo. Solche Firmen sind einfach nur Hassen.....

Ich habe auch dieses Testabo für 0,99 Dollar abgeschlossen und daraus wurden dann 20, obwohl ich es nicht nutze.
Einfach so. Es wurde abgebucht und erstattet wurden mir nur 10.Dann habe ich mich an den Kundenservice gewandt, wo nur KI antwortet mit Standardsätzen.
Und jetzt plötzlich nochmal ein ominöser Betrag.

C'est un site chinois basé en Suisse et ils se croient donc exonérés des règles communes de probité.
Mais j'irai plus loin : avec la complicité de PayPal qui ne peut pas ignorer ce fait : abonnement forcé non consenti. PayPal qui prélève quand même bien qu'on les ai prévenus, qu'on leur ai expliqué, mais qui ferme la discussion sur le site et on ne peut plus les joindre sur ce sujet.
Pour ma part j'ai contesté ce prélèvement auprès de ma Banque (banque en ligne) en demandant l'annulation de ce prélèvement ; les 28 $ m'ont été restitués et j'ai interdit PayPal de prélèvement sur mon compte. Depuis ils me harcèlent en vain pour que je leur crédite 28 $.

I'd give no stars if there was an option. I did an IQ test and paid £1 to recieve the results by email. I used paypal which I don't check very often. When I did they'd taken another £28 plus regular weekly payments of £9.99. They had a tidy sum from me and PayPal found in their favour for some reason - makes me wary of PayPal too - perhaps they were in cahoots with each other. Totally deceitful, theiving conmen is a nice way of saying what I think of them....Be aware. Google them and see what they've done to countless others - Read their answer to my review below - I have emailed them as requested with no response and trying to phone is a nightmare as you are put on hold when connected and they charge you at premium rate meaning they get more countless pounds from you. Iqbrain is based in China but calls go through to France.
26/03/26 I had an email saying I need to contact the 'department' I had my initial invoice from. The thing is I didn't have an invoice. I did the IQtest paid the small fee and that was it until I discovered they'd taken almost £300 out of my account. I've emailed them back but don't think I'll get anywhere. Paypal should ban them out of decency. I'm going to contact facebook and ask them to reconsider letting this despicable firm use them to advertise their phoney IQ and dementia tests etc. I hope everyone else follows suit - there's safety in numbers. Blessings everyone...........

Met een bedrag van 50 cent voor een IQ-certificaat wordt je in hun kleine lettertjes gesluisd en blijk je ineens aan een maandelijks contract vast te zitten, wat per maand van de cc af gaat. Let op! Ook een naamswijziging en kleine wisseling in bedragen (28,80USD geeft maandelijks een kleine schommeling in euro's). Wordt niets geleverd, maar enkel heimelijk geïncasseerd! Gelukkig binnen half jaar ontdekt, maar niet alles komt terug; uitkering tot 3 maanden door ING die vlot handelde gelukkig.

El 12 de enero de 2026 realicé un test de inteligencia en IQBrain por 1,98 €. Ese mismo día se me efectuó otro cargo adicional de 9,96 €.
Posteriormente, los días 17 de enero de 2026, se me realiza otro cargo de 28,80 € y al día siguiente, el 18 del mismo mes, otro cargo adicional de 28,80€ más , sin que yo haya otorgado consentimiento expreso para la contratación de ningún servicio de suscripción ni para la activación de pagos recurrentes.
En ningún momento autoricé cargos automáticos ni la adhesión a un servicio periódico. Mi única acción fue realizar un test puntual.
La realización de cobros sucesivos sin una autorización clara, específica e inequívoca del usuario constituye una práctica absolutamente inaceptable. Me siento perjudicada y profundamente decepcionada por esta forma de proceder.

SCAM. I was extremely cautious about not signing up for some trial with recurrent charges which always seem to be expertly buried. At the bottom of the page, there was a clear opt-out box which I checked. Thieving bastards charged me for 2 ebooks WITHOUT my permission for $11.96, within a couple hours of my $1.98 IQ test purchase. I never requested those, didn't see anything about an ebook when I signed up or checked out. Damn thieves is what they are and once you give them your credit card they'll have a hey day with it. WARNING - use another site, and never use your debit card.
UPDATE: They immediately said they were processing my refund, but decided only to refund $7 of the $11.96. These people are scathing! I immediately fired back with a demand for full refund.
