Actually right now not exactly thrilled…

Actually right now not exactly thrilled with Ipsy. My box was lost by delivery company. It was shown weeks ago. I tried to contact Ipsy right away to have it resolved but the stupid bot basically would not let me through to a person and said that I had to wait till Nov 4th or 2nd something like that. When I finally had enough is when it was showing Novembers box. Ipsy kept saying they could not charge my card. Same card that they have been charging easily all year. Had plenty of money on it. I contact Ipsy again. Again the bot is acting like a stopper so I basically get verbally abusive with a robot just so I can speak to a real person and get escalated. Which still takes another day by email. Only to be told great they will send out a new box unfortunately what I picked will not be in it. Then again finally the card thing gets sorted and basically none of the good stuff is left so I’m left with crappy picks for November. I literally upgraded to Icon just so I can get some decent stuff in the boxes. Just to make is salvageable and make a decision if I’m going to stick with it. So yeah at this point pretty pissed at Ipsy. Your bot is not helping your customers it’s actually making things worse. It should not be this hard to speak with someone.

Order placed 27 days ago still not arrived

I wish I could review my items, but the order I placed 27 days ago has still not arrived. I get orders shipped from overseas in less than half that time. I contacted customer service several times and was told my order would be here no later than 11/6. Well today is 11/6 and I still have no package. In fact, the tracking has not moved from their warehouse when it was shipped back on 10/20. I have never seen customer service like this before in my life.

I am not orange

I find it odd that the quiz doesn't ask for undertone. I have received dozens of warm (orange) foundations, lippies, all sorts of skin products, yet I am neutral to cool. The Nov Icon Box will likely be my last. What other boxes is everyone moving to??

EDITED TO ADD: Ipsy replied and called me by the wrong name. More proof that they DNGAF about their customers lol. I may downgrade my membership to the cheapy sample package so I can still access their amazing sales on their old-ass inventory. I mean Pat McGrath is still Pat McGrath, even if the palette was dropped three years ago ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cancelled my ipsy subscription in…

Cancelled my ipsy subscription in October to avoid the November charge, but they still billed me. Customer service said they don't give refunds, even though my account showed cancelled, very frustrating and unfair

I have been an ipsy subscriber for over…

I have been an ipsy subscriber for over 5 years now. I love this service. I have used a bunch of different beauty box service subscriptions, and ipsy is the only one that has lasted this long!

I love the selection of brands available and the steeply discounted prices I pay. Their customer service team always responds promptly, with courtesy, and always is able to help me solve my issue (not that I need to reach out to them very often!)

If for some reason my package gets lost, damaged, or items inside are missing are broken, I got an immediate shipment replacement with a brand new product. I have discovered so many products that I love through the ipsy subscription that I don't even shop at Sephora anymore!

The unfortunates

Several times I’ve had to ask for replacement packages due to shipping or contact issues that randomly arise. Several times I’ve had packages say delivered although never were. I enjoy the products but going through so much to get them is not fun.

Here's a positive review

I've been with Ipsy off and on since 2012. Most of the time I'm happy with whatever I get and buy. There have been a few times when something went wrong in the shopping department but it's only been a few times all these years. Ipsy was one of the first when the subscription boxes started happening and I have no regrets joining.

I love Ipsy

I love Ipsy! I loved coming in as a new member at a discounted rate. I loved all the different choices they have available. Sometimes make up and skincare can be a pain and overwhelming but Ipsy made the shopping experience fun & easy!!! I spent so much money with them in just a few months. Highly recommend!

I had a very experience with them

I had a very bad experience with them ! They didn’t send 2 months and I request them refund or send other one and they just didn’t help . So I’m so disappointed

I do not understand how they r still in business

HORRIBLE THEY WENT DOWNHILL I DONT EVEN THINK I GOT MY IPSY BOX FOR THE MONTH I CANCELLed too and it’s a whole hassle to cancel n if yu even r cancelling it all the site glitches I bought makeup from it half didnt come half damaged and half was like those free items samples you get on your bday if I get charged again im contacting my credit card

ipsy just keeps getting worse lol

ipsy just keeps getting worse lol. i just cancelled my boxycharm subscription because i got my OCTOBER box in november. there’s also been instances where they’ve sent me the wrong product and when i asked them to resend it, they sent me ANOTHER wrong product. also the products don’t feel worth the almost $40 a month and for the most part i’m getting brands i’ve never even heard of and cheap looking/feeling products. only thing i think is worth it is the drop shop so i can get what i actually want and need for a good price. i also hate the ai bot they push onto you for customer service. it shouldn’t be impossible to talk to a real person.

I am noticing as a decently long time…

I am noticing as a decently long time member that ipsys shipping partner is lacking timeliness. I also have ran into missing items and of broken items. While I appreciate the value vs what I pay. It might be beneficial to explore alternative contracted shipping agencies. ACI is not as reliable as so many others. The prices for membership have gone up which a lot have done with inflation but the service has gone down. Your customer service agents are lovely but they are at the mercy of those you contact with and likely have to deal with the complaints.

I did not receive my October box

I did not receive my October box. In Messenger chat. I was guaranteed to receive ALL my items and Add-ons.
Yesterday, my "accommodation" box arrived and it was 1 ITEM. Just a set of makeup brushes.
I also opened another ticket yesterday so I could speak with a person, and absolutely no reply.
I want My October box and a Refund.
Your bot makes it so distressing to get any real results

Decline in quality and service

I have been buying from IPSY for years with minimal issues and no problems getting damaged products replaced. However, my last two purchases have been sent with different items than what I ordered and the most recent order still has not been made right. On my most recent purchase, I contacted IPSY regarding a missing item 4 times before getting it escalated so that I am getting responses from people rather than the Customer Service bot, but I still don't have what I ordered after two months. Their new shipping carrier (ACI) has terrible online reviews and many reports of lost packages. I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to have to wait/get jerked around to get a resolution.

Waiting on a package after 3 weeks reached out multiple times requesting a refund and still no assistance terrible customer service would give them negative stars if I could trash!!!! Especially for how much my order was for!!!! Don’t shop here

I’ve only had IPSY for 2 months before…

I’ve only had IPSY for 2 months before I cancelled my subscription. I had the boxycharm sub, and I am stationed overseas due to military. I know it would take some time to get over here but I NEVER received my August box. I contacted customer service, and they sent out a replacement 3 times!!! NEVER got one of them but was somehow able to get my September box? Every time I go to customer service about this issue they never know what to say. It’s honestly super annoying and just straight giving up on not receiving my August box even though I paid for it and can’t get a refund for it.
