THESE PEOPLE ARE THEIVES

I have cancelled this service 3 TIMES over the last 3 months and they just charged my card AGAIN. They have no customer service number and no customer service email. You have to speak to a chat bot that's as useless as the contents of my cat's litterbox. These people are THIEVES. I'm going to have to cancel my debit card so they'll stop charging me and fight with the bank to get my money back. I HATE THIS COMPANY.

Order at your own risk

They have stolen my money. No movement on my order since label was created Nov 7. No one will get back to me. Completely ignored. As everyone knows charge backs aren't that easy to do. It looks like I am left no choice. After they get your money, they do not care. Scammers and liars!

I have loved my Ipsy boxes

I have loved my Ipsy boxes. I always get more than what I am expecting and the brands they have curated are phenomenal!

Awful

Awful. This is a scam. Even looking at their page if you previously subscribed will trap you into being charged. They refuse to refund and communicate minimally. Forget contacting them. Highly do not recommend using this. I cancelled in the past as their selection is usually subpar and the questionnaire to assist with matching you with products is a joke. Don’t give them your business or your info. They will steal your money.

Too many expired products

So I subscribed very end of October because it was so late in the month I didn't think I would get that month's box. Unfortunately I did but customer support fixed the issue. I got November's Natasha Denona box and I'm very pleased with everything in it. I also shopped the store. What I don't like is it seems quite a bit of these products are a month away from end of shelf life or already past shelf life meaning they are more than 3 years old. For example, my KVD beauty foundation came in the mail today and it is over 3 years old. The problem with that is it gives us a bad view of the product considering we're not getting the actual quality, we're getting bacteria-ridden items that break us out and doesn't make us want to shop with those specific brands. I'm not willing to risk buying another one directly from them. The lack of complexion products for fair skin in the shop also irks me. So in conclusion, brands need to quit selling off expired stock and ipsy needs to make sure that it has purchased non-expired items because ultimately it falls back on ipsy and leaves us not wanting to stay subscribed.

My beauty, some product was the same product as a product in my box and at first they didn’t even send the booster product with my box. I had to email them.

I ordered the standard box plus my beauty booster. Only my beauty booster product wasn’t in my box and when I called will email so I should say to let them know they said they would send something right away and they did but what they sent me was a product that was already in that standard box and I’m just think that’s kind of like thoughtless. Why would I want two of the same thing I pay for the extra product because I want an extra product not double of something in a box so I was pretty annoying.

Delivery issues

I’ve been a customer of Ipsy/boxy-charm about 10 years. In those 10 years I have moved 3 times and had no issue receiving box. I’ve lived in my current house 3 years now and have had no issues . Well in June 2025 my box never came and there was no tracking for my package . I contacted Ipsy support and they sent me an accommodation box which was fine. In October my box never came and my tracking said “ unsuccessful delivery”. I contacted support again and they said they would send another accommodation box. This pass week I got the “accommodation box” it came in a bag with only two product and one of them being a damn lip balm. I pay $36 each month mind you! Felt so robbed. Emailed customer service for a refund for the month of October and they stated “We did our best to send a comparable substitute, but I understand why you feel this way” and only wanted to give me $5 off my next purchase. So I canceled and disputed it with my bank. Big disappointment.

SCAM

SCAM! NEVER buy there again! Parcels lost, IPSY refuses to resend or compensate even after getting the parcel lost confirmation from THEIR delivery company. They keep sending a copy-pasted response that they wouldn't do anything.

Address change nightmare!

I really enjoy the products I get most times (sometimes it's expired!) but I've had a horrific time trying to change my address! I can change the billing address, of course this affects their ability to get paid, but the SHIPPING address is impossible to find! I've missed two months of shipments because of this, and when I complained, they resent my missed shipments, they said they changed my shipping address for me, then proceeded to ship those missed shipments to my OLD address! Ugh......

I used my gift card that I had received…

I used my gift card that I had received from my job on the Halloween special I never received the Halloween limited edition with the two special surprise gifts they had no problem charging my gift card and now they are saying they have no record of it whatsoever but before that it was they didn't have the correct address which is impossible because I got my original Ipsy box I got my November Ipsy box I got my razor blade replacements so now they can't tell me why they can't see it they're trying to tell me that there's no proof that I ordered it but my gift card has $0 on it and they are not even trying to make it right how I take that back they want to send me the Cobra bag which I already received for November so getting something I ordered and wanted because it was on sale that I actually received but because I ordered the special edition for Halloween that I had wanted they are refusing to make it right and I've been with them for years I started getting Ipsy products back when I lived in Arkansas and that was back in 17 so then when I moved back to Kansas I did take a little break when I switched jobs but then when I planted my feet and got a job back again and had a steady income I have been with them for years and now they're saying they can't find the order that I placed I have never been so disappointed in a company that I've spent so much money on that I went from the glam bag to the charm box and they treat me like I haven't been with them for this long I have never complained until now I was even able to tell them everything that was supposed to come in the Halloween special edition I wouldn't know that if I hadn't ordered it and was still waiting on it if I could write less than one star I would

I’m very disappointed with Ipsy

I’m very disappointed with Ipsy. I re-subscribed recently and had an issue with the last two shipments going to my old address even though I updated my address online. I didn’t realize it until the second shipment went out and I decided to track the shipment. I wasn’t really certain when I would receive the first shipment after renewal of my subscription. It took me several attempts via the Glam bots without any resolution. I finally found the customer service email and emailed them explaining my situation. I was told that they would only send me one of the shipments because too much time has expired. I still haven’t received the shipment. I’m going to cancel my subscription.

subscriber off and on for 5 years

I have been a ipsy subscriber off and on for 5 years. There has been times where the shipment hasn’t been perfect but customer service always responds quickly and provides a solution. I’ve never had any billing issues or lost shipments.

There have been some stand out products that I continue to purchase and I would have never tried them if it wasn’t for Ipsy

Do you know how many reviews I see that's just like mine if you guys don't want me to stop spending thousands of dollars a year with your guys's icon boxes and shopping with you you need to start having more colors for white women and for yellow women and not just dark women it's not fair it's racist it's discriminary and then not replacing it when you give them the wrong color is even worse I only became a member because the first couple boxes I come boxes were great I upped everything started buying more and then you ran out of all the shades for hourglass now you guys don't want to replace it then you guys want to replace the October box I never asked you to replace why can't you guys just replace the damage bottles that I sent pictures of the broken bottles that are damaged months after month after month after month you guys keep me waiting keep me waiting to the point where I don't even care about the money anymore I just want to take you to court because you've caused me so much stress I have a PTSD literally chose you over a lure because you guys the first couple boxes were great first couple shopping experiences were great and then after that it was all just downhill downhill downhill you don't follow anything off my quiz it's like you guys just throw a whole bunch of random stuff in there and you don't care what is wrong with you guys lately if I don't get somebody to answer me back on you guys are waiting on me and my reply that's what you guys said to replace the broken bottles and the right stuff if you guys don't get back to me cuz I was waiting on you then at this point I'm just going to have to go to small claims court

Do NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY

Do NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. I promise the deals are not worth any of the hassle. I’ve been on and off with Ipsy for years. Ever since they took over boxy (which was my favorite before Ipsy bought them out), everything has gone DOWN HILL. And I mean bad. So let me start by saying, I’ve been subscribed to boxy consistently for the past year. On October 10th, they emailed me asking if I wanted to upgrade to Icon Box so I upgraded. They billed me right then and there taking the $71 and some change. Fast forward to November 1st, I did my Ipsy picks for my icon box. I picked my add ons. And after that, I went to the Ipsy shop and bought a fragrance as well. Fast forward to today. Neither of my items have shipped but I usually receive my box around the 8th-10th. So I contact Ipsy care and the management team reaches out and says this exact paragraph “ As a heads-up, since you weren't able to create your subscription earlier in the month while our billing period was open, your order will be shipped a little bit longer than usual. “
What are the talking about since I wasn’t able to create my subscription earlier in the month?!!! I paid at the beginning of October for this box. I picked my three items. I grabbed some add ons. Not to mention the 50$ perfume that I also bought the same day I built my box!! This is a never ending battle that feels so mentally draining and exhausting. When your item actually does ship, they give you a tracking number that doesn’t work. When you reach out to the glam bot and ask where your order is and give them the tracking number Ipsy sent you for the order your waiting on, glam bot tells you it was delivered/brings up an old order of yours because the “tracking number”they send is recycled. They do this every time. You can not track your orders until the day they are actually out for delivery. I PROMISE YOU this is the worst beauty box you will ever deal with. They are so unorganized, unprofessional and careless. Everything is ran like complete garbage and the majority of the things they’ve been putting in boxes is the same with the exception of one thing. Maybe two if you’re lucky. I’d rather buy the few items I would get in the box each month outright at the full cost to avoid getting useless makeup and more importantly, to free myself of the burden of dealing with them as a business. They are so shady. It seems good at first. Until you see how much they lack communication and organization. They have no idea what’s going on. Seriously BEWARE.
