I paid $97 for the HyperGrowth plan and my account showed a free trial. Couldn't use anything I paid for. When I reached out to support, I was told they'd "coordinate with the billing department" and get back to me. Days went by. Their AI bot kept closing the conversation. When a human finally responded, they told me I'd purchased the wrong plan — Inbox Placement instead of Email Outreach — as if that explains why I had zero access to anything.
Then when I asked for a refund — for a service I literally could not use — a different agent hit me with "all payments are final and non-refundable." So let me get this straight: you take my money, don't deliver the service, make me wait over a week for answers, and then tell me no refunds? That's not a terms of service issue, that's a failure to deliver what was paid for.
The support experience was a revolving door of AI bots closing my chat, agents disappearing for days, and zero urgency to resolve anything. Multiple agents, no continuity, no ownership of the problem. One agent asks me to confirm what plan I want, then another closes the chat before I can even respond.
If you're considering Instantly, be warned: getting your money's worth apparently isn't guaranteed, but them keeping your money definitely is. Save yourself the headache and go with a platform that actually delivers what you pay for — or at minimum, has support that doesn't ghost you for a week and then hide behind a no-refund policy when they're the ones who dropped the ball.

Not only is the Instantly platform easy to use, and full of constantly updated innovative features, but the support team is second to none. Every time we get in touch with a representative, they're extremely helpful and patient when it comes to whatever problem you're facing. Whether it's a simple question, software bug, billing issue, etc. they will make sure you get the support you need to see success on their platform.

Horrible. 3600 email sent through the platform. Their UI doesn't just not scrub HTML from the email, it actually injects it in in some cases.

What an absolute scam. I was trying to setup their edm function so we could see if that was a good fit for our business, and it prompted me to upgrade to the Hyper CRM which doesn't include any edm stuff at all. I then opted for the Growth marketing plan which is the one I wanted all along and to test. Contacted their support right after this ultra messed up experience, and they said no refunds which is completely illegal in Australia. I've built and sold numbers tech businesses and this was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. You will be speaking with my la and are being reported to the ombudsman as you are not allowed to do this in Australia. Avoid this company at all cost - its a complete sham.

The email personalization is awful. Like "I'm super impressed with your work". Not sure what type of companies feel comfortable letting that sort of automated email run untouched with their business tied to it. Also, worth noting they will hold your domain hostage for a year if you purchase through them and decide to cancel. They will not transfer the domain to your registrar. Very poor experience with this company.

Very few contacts compared to other platforms, did not deliver what they promised. If there is a bug or credits are used when the platform does not deliver what it promised, they don't credit you. Used it for several months. I do not recommend it!

They try to charge you for absolutely everything. Like the inbox placement test doesn't cost them anything and they charge for it also with the "crm" they have which does nothing and cost and will double your cost . And the software is buggy at times, many ease of access features missing that would make the experience better. Customer service is there but they are pretty dumb, better than most companies though.

They do send you emails, and usually get them in the inbox. 2 Stars, could be 5 very easily.

I have been using Instantly for a few months. It is the first tool that I have ever used for cold emailling and it made my life super easy. It is easy to use and the Youtube tutorial gave the first hints on how to create my campaigns. It was a little expensive to get started, but once you get going, it is a great experience.
