Wow wasnt expecting that I did the quiz to match my foundation and it wasnt the right shade for me it was too light and rather than send it back I can keep it snd got a,code off them and ive bought a darker shade for much cheaper

I am not a typical normal everyday make up wearer, having a background in the television industry for all of teenage years I have had my makeup professionals in theatre and for tv roles in the BBC.
This is the first time I have found a one step foundation that has come close to the multiple blending which has been used on me in the past so well done.
On the whole I find the product very good but the advertising of finished look candidates annoying due to the trendy over made up look. It bypasses the whole less it more group and therefore made me inhibited to attempt it. Delivery and customer service ARE top notch and I would love to play with them on my Instagram....so far they have been quiet. I think we should be bringing make up back to enhance natural beauty and decrease making masks out of them. People looking individual in themselves is starting to fade.
Let us aim to bring it back....with make up.

My experience with Il Makiage was terrible. They immediately charged my card upon ordering on 9/29 (instead of upon shipping like most companies). After a week of checking shipping status and receiving “shipment status not available” i contacted Customer Service which i had to do 3 times. The first time they said “it’s delayed with our shipping partner and should ship soon”. The 2nd time same thing and they refused to cancel my order, but sent me a 15% coupon for a future purchase…seriously? The 3rd time they confirmed there still wasn’t any progress and finally offered to cancel. YES PLEASE!! They also offered the option of a free future order and $20 off to keep my order. NO Thank you! There are too many great options out there to have to deal with this overhyped makeup brand that Ive since learned is using AI filters in their marketing.

I used the try before you buy service on the foundation unfortunately it didn't quite match as well as id hoped so I started the process to return and instead of making me return the item they took off the stress of having to get it arranged which is greatly appreciated as I am getting married next weekend so one less thing to stress about. And amazingly they gave me a £30 off gift card aswell so I was able to get some setting spray which ive never had before. Thanks to Alex the customer service member that had made this happen.

This is my third bottle now and it’s lovey make up. I am 56 and so many foundations look really dry and cakey on me. This just makes my skin look better

The reasons are that you have various colours for all woman skin shades, I am confident that once applied, all woman, like myself are happy with the colour they have chosen. Also so happy and important with the quality of your product as once applied it stays on your skin until YOU decided when you want to remove it .
