I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was completely unacceptable.

One of your drivers parked in the private parking area of my building, occupying a space that belongs to a resident. I politely explained that it was a private parking space and asked if he could move his vehicle. Instead of responding professionally, he became extremely rude, aggressive, and confrontational.

During the exchange, he made a deeply disturbing comment along the lines of, “I could kill you here.” There is absolutely no justification for threatening a member of the public in this way. No one should have to experience this simply for politely asking someone not to park in a private space.

I will be reporting this incident formally to your company and also escalating it to the police, as I believe this behaviour is completely unacceptable and should be taken very seriously. I am also attaching a photograph of the vehicle registration to help identify the driver involved.

I expect your company to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action. Behaviour like this has no place in a customer facing business.

The man who collected my things was courteous and funny. It was fantastic to have a reliable company when my laundry room was being rebuilt. I will probably get the occasional order again, as a treat for myself.

I said to pick up at concierge and instead the driver waited for me outside and never went to concierge. They never picked up the clothes and now I’m stuck with no options. Terrible service. Never had this with any other laundry service.

I don’t often leave reviews but ihateironing is one of the very few services that consistently provide a great service. It’s seamless. Chuck your stuff in a bag, pick a time; open the door, and 24 hours later all your clothes are dry cleaned back at your door. It’s so easy that I need to refrain myself from using it instead of the washing machine.

I wanted to take some time before writing this review to ensure it was fair and balanced. I have been using this service for over two years and, until recently, had been generally satisfied. Unfortunately, the quality of the service has declined significantly.
The app itself is intuitive and easy to use, and the concept of connecting customers with local dry cleaners is a good one. However, the main issue is that the quality of the service ultimately depends on the third-party dry cleaners they outsource the work to, and there appears to be very little quality control.
Over the past year, they have damaged both a blazer and a brand-new shirt. When I raised the issue regarding the shirt, I was told that the collar had already been ripped before collection. This is simply not true. I personally placed the shirt in the laundry basket, and it was in immaculate condition at the time. The damage occurred after collection, most likely during handling by the driver or the dry cleaner when removing items from the basket, which also contained several hangers.
The shirt was practically new and in perfect condition before it left my possession. In my view, this was clearly the result of negligence, yet responsibility was denied without any meaningful investigation.
While the platform itself is convenient, my recent experiences have left me disappointed. A laundry and dry-cleaning service is only as good as the care taken with customers' garments, and unfortunately the standard of care has not met expectations. As a result, I can no longer recommend the service with the same confidence I once did.

Brilliant App. Delivery etc always on time. Slightly smarter driver would be nice but they are perfectly friendly and never seem to get lost unlike some couriers!

I recently used ihateironing for the first time, and I was genuinely impressed.

The app was extremely easy to use, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The pick-up and delivery service was perfect, with everything handled on time and without any hassle.

The quality of the ironing was excellent, but what really stood out was the final packaging. The clothes were delivered neatly in custom covers, which gave the whole service a premium and professional feel.

Overall, a very convenient, high-quality service. I would happily recommend ihateironing to anyone looking for reliable laundry and ironing support.

Most items in my order missing. Customer service operatives on call can’t do anything other than say they are escalating it when you call to try and sort it out.

Avoid - can’t be trusted to deliver all your items

Excellent service. There was an issue with the original collection and the resolution was fast and courteous. The actual service (laundering a quilt) was quick and efficient (pick up friday and delivery monday) and the quilt is fresh and clean. I will definitely use the service again.

What a class operation - does what it says on the tin, yes - they wash your clothes and iron them really nicely. But for me it’s to level of care and customer service that goes with it that is the stand out. They are responsive, quick in pick up and delivery, honest about pricing, keen to help you when you need it, and the quality of the output is great.
Couldn’t recommend more.

Excellent service, laundry done great

Honestly, should give it zero stars since absolutely nothing happened other than picking up my laundry and bringing it back dirty. I got one email two hours after the pick up asking if my laundry could be done through general service of which I replied yes, which matches exactly what I submitted through my order online and in the app notes - that email reply went out 30 minutes after I got the incoming email - my laundry came back seven hours later with Service canceled when I only had 24 hours to do my laundry before heading out on an international flight. Don’t count on this company for anything!! Paying for overpriced laundry at my local hotel at least would’ve been completed!

I’m totally fed up with this company. I’ve had to send items back a few times as they were delivered back to me stained and creased. But to top it all, I entrusted a very important piece of clothing to them. A black tie jacket that’s part of a suit that my son has to wear for work. I hate ironing have misplaced/lost this jacket. I’m absolutely furious as not only was it expensive, it’s a necessary part of my son’s uniform for work.
UPDATE … they’ve apparently found the jacket now. Let’s see if it makes it home …

I gave Hate Ironing far more chances than I probably should have, but I've finally had enough.

The biggest issue is their repeated last-minute collection cancellations. On multiple occasions I've rearranged my day and stayed at home waiting, only to be told at short notice that the collection isn't happening. They don't offer any meaningful compensation or refund for the inconvenience, despite the fact that it's my time they're wasting.
Unfortunately, this isn't the only problem I've experienced.

They have previously delivered someone else's laundry to me, which meant another delay while I waited at home again for the correct items to arrive. There was no compensation for the mistake—just another inconvenience for the customer.

They have also shrunk some of my garments. To be fair, they did make an effort to resolve the issue, and I appreciate that. However, it completely destroyed my confidence in their service. I would never trust them with quality clothing or anything of sentimental or significant value.

These days I only send items that I know I could afford to lose or have damaged.

Another issue is that some of the delivery drivers have clearly been smokers. On more than one occasion, the laundry bag has arrived with a lingering smell of tobacco smoke, which is unpleasant when you're expecting freshly cleaned laundry.

I've genuinely tried to stick with Hate Ironing because everyone can make the occasional mistake. But after repeated cancellations, incorrect deliveries, damaged clothing and poor customer service, I've reached the point where enough is enough.

I'm now taking my business elsewhere in the hope of finding a laundry service that is reliable, respects its customers' time and gives me confidence that my clothes will be returned in the same condition I sent them.

Reliable laundry service with an easy to use app that makes it easy to change a booking. Nice team too.

Overpriced for the quality of service provided than any other suppliers on the market. Not user friendly or intuitive application. Loads of e-mails, not a seamless service. Three times the same e-mail informing me that there is a stain on my items (no kidding, why hire a cleaning service then?!). Disappointing.

These folks are great! I call to let them know I have a pickup; they are there the same day or the next morning. The clothes are carefully reviewed; anything damaged or in need of repair is conveyed by photo, and I am asked how they are to proceed. All back the next day in a lovely bag. I pay a slight premium for the service, but they go above and beyond and make the process easy.
