DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR RENTAL PROPERTY! As a landlord I would never recommend Howsy from start to finish, you get passed from member member when there is an issue - they didn't even notify tenants of communal fire test and I've been charged call out charges multiple times depsite countless emails and calls, that's not even the worst part! I could go on - honestly I never write reviews but they have forced me! Always use an independent local agent - lesson learnt!
I was cautious at first but one year on, I must admit Howsy are doing great job renting my property. They found me a good tenant and they well organised and efficient. Again today, I was called to sort some admin, Hanna Rawat was very good helping me. All in all great experience and highly recommend!
Charlotte was helpful, aided in booking a viewing for next week and was very polite.
Hannah and Burns have always been extremely helpful and efficient at sorting out problems arising at my three rental properties around Chelmsley Wood.

Joanna in Coventry is definitely the best advisor I've spoken to when trying to book a viewing through any agency. Shes the definition of putting clients first and has a very respectful and approachable manner. Joanna has helped me throughly with giving me information and advice on what would be most suitable to my needs. She keeps up the rapport and would always prioitise yourself before anyone else. If you call Howsy when looking to rent I highly recommend asking for Joanna.
(Joanna needs to be promoted as how she handles calls and queries) I will be following up on this to ensure she is on track for promotion.

Paid for full property management, but neither my tenant nor myself get responses from Howsy for over 2 weeks.
Before these problems began, I paid for a full year of full property management - but what point is the discounted rate if I am being provided no service at all? This is absolutely shocking and disappointing.
I chose a full property mangement service as I do not have the time to manage the property myself, but now am left completely in the dark along with the tenant.
Please, avoid Howsy and their dishonest practices at all costs.

I've seen Howsy's reply below. Let me say that this completely untrue, my tenant has been the one trying to reach Howsy, and this renewal took place months ago.
It's laughable that Howsy respond quickly to the many deserved negative reviews but not to their actual paying customers who were promised a service.
Please do better. I'd like to add I still have not received replies to my queries sent to Howsy weeks ago.

Firstly I would give zero star if I could. I was due to view a house in Croydon on 9 July 22 at 1040, however received a text message at 0630 that day stating that the viewing had been cancelled due to Landlord agreeing let with other vendor. It is appauling to receive text message that early on day of viewing given the fact that Howsy obviously knew the previous day. Secondly, I received two further texts on the morning of the 9 July reminding me of my viewing and to thank me for attending the property even though I did not attend the viewing. Finally, I received a satisfa survey this evening asking for feedback on my viewing. This company is incompetent and needs to sort out their customer service. I will not be using this company in the future and recommend that all prospective renters avoid this company at all costs. Kevin Roberts

Things started out pretty well with the initial tenants found pretty quickly and the move in happened without any major issues. After that there were quite a few issues with most getting resolved satisfactorily after a bit of chasing. The three month inspection didn't happen, it took me three months to get the check in inventory and the tenants claimed not to get the inventory. After the tenants left the property remained empty for 16 months with the main advice being to reduce the rent, I found tenants within days of listing it through another online agent at the asking price. I was not sent an invoice for the monthly fee for the first seven months of the void period. Also the inventory clerk failed to record that I handed over a set of management keys and these still haven't been located although I was sent the keys for someone else's property instead.
During the tenancy renewal process, our property manager Hanna Rawat and the Howsy team have made the whole process easy and smooth. Many thanks for their great service which made both landlords (us) and tenants happy.
Used to be first class now completely not fit for purpose … awful communication .. can’t get through to a human being ..response time shocking .. tried get hold of ceo .. totally ignores any requests … and any response to this note? Unlikely .. arnie kaplan MBE

My tenants have needed a repair since March 2021. This has still not been done. Howsy have been shocking in managing repairs on the house and the quotes are extortionate (they let tradesmen charge £180 to come round and quote)!
My calls and emails are simply ignored. I've even written to the CEO, also ignored. Awful service - for me and my tenants.

Anne was great. But with regards to get getting any response or acknowledgment from my first application, it took 3 to 4 days.
Quick, responsive, informative, No confusion at all.
The replies were quick, polite and helpful. I want to thank Anne for organizing a view for me and being so kind.
Anne is very helpful and efficient, it was a pleasant experience to communicate with her.
Ronnie was very friendly, professional and helpfull to arrange my viewing. He also explained all the procedures and requirements and made all simple and clearer.
