Great communication from Charlie in the Property Management team where I had enquired about an issue that seemed to be forgotten by another team, only for Charlie to contact me and:
- apologise for the unexpected delay
- provide an update there and then
- provide a timeline of when the issue should be resolved.

I am very disappointed with this agency and the landlord. Since I moved to the property I reported all the issues in the house, the most important the extractor fan in the kitchen as it could cause fire, after 10 months with a lot of headache, thousands calls, emails… our contract is due to finish in 2 months and we still waiting for them to change it. The agency is not doing nothing and the landlord is not respecting the agreement. I would NEVER trust this people. Don’t rent with them they are not solving nothing!! Very upset with this people

Charlie has been very diligent and offered a quick and commercial response with a matter arising during property management. Howsy is generally speaking a refreshing player on the market. The staff is well trained, friendly and efficient.

Great at Onboarding, but managing mid-tenancy they are slow and quite frustrating sometimes. They are dependent on individuals owning properties and other team members don't pick up the slack

Atrocious service. Poor communication with very slow (sometimes no) responses. Deny all responsibility for the condition a property is left in and argue every point raised so as to avoid fault. As a landlord you will pay a fee every month for Howsy to neglect your property.

Booked an appointment to view a house, no one showed. On top of that the front door glass was smashed. In a way, pleased they didn't bother themselves, lucky escape.
I am a landlord who used Howsy services.
Poor service. The success/Support team do not reply. They take a long time to perform tasks that are pretty simple. Charge you way in advance for services that are completed several weeks/months later. Build their cash flow using the money of the landlords/tenants. Avoid as much as you can.
I would say that this was the worst viewing experience I've ever had except there wasn't really an experience at all because nobody turned up at the property! The current tenants allowed me to view, but no sign of an agent or landlord or anybody related to Howsy, despite multiple reminder texts.
Prior to my visit, I called the Howsy number I was given (the text read 'if you need to speak to someone please call this number') and was spoken to extremely rudely by a member of staff who seemed disgusted that I wanted to make a query and told me she 'didn't know any details but would try to ask someone'. I simply wanted to ask who would be meeting me at the property. It now makes sense that this could not be answered because nobody did meet me! I called when at the property and again they were useless and said someone would call me but obviously nobody did.
I then received an automated text *thanking* me for viewing and providing a link to apply... a complete joke and a waste of my time.
I have since gone with a more reputable and reliable agency to secure a property in this area and would recommend you to AVOID Howsy at all costs as it is pointless and they don't seem to care about interested people who want to rent with them.
I would also add that the photos of the property in the online listing were clearly old photos as the property I viewed looked nothing like the photos and was much dirtier and run-down and not decorated in the same way.
Howsy was quick and helpful, which I greatly appreciate. The only suggestion I would have is to have employees include their direct line in their signatures in order for people to have one designated point of contact.
