I have booked a few tours with Howlanders. They are more affordable than Get Your Guide or Viator and offer many tours. Booking is easy and communication works well. Answers are always quick.
One recommendation I have, is to be able to modify your booking (changing tour date) online instead of having to contact them.
Next time I am back in South America, I would book with them again!!

Really bad service. You can book tours for a specific day on the website even tho they are already sold out. A few days later you will get an email that the tour is not possible because it’s overbooked and by that time other tours from other companies are already sold out. I Would never book through this company again.

Nie wieder eine guided Tour in großer Gruppe mit unterschiedlichen Fitness Leveln. Hatte Pech, da ziemliche Schwergewichter dabei waren, die noch nie eine solche Wanderung gemacht hatten. Prompt gab es gesundheitliche Probleme und 2/3 der Gruppe musste 2h warten bis wir nach Puerto Natales zurückfahren konnten

El hotel de aguas calientes de 3* es más bien un hostal, nos cambiaron del adventure hotel a unos supuestamente mejor el Susana inn también de 3*, más bien era un hostal con un río al lado de Gran caudal que no dejaba dormir. La chica del brefing muy bien, nos explicó todo fenomenalmente bien, en la ida hay un teatrillo cutre y en la vuelta hay un vagón acristalado con una pequeña orquesta muy animada. La visita a Machupichu perfecta, te dejan suficiente tiempo para hacer fotos a miles y disfrutar como dos horas, el guia te hace de fotógrafo y te dice como posar, si quieres tener la foto típica tienes q hacer el circuito 2.

No complaints with Howlander. Though not sure what their role was in my travel plans as they seemed to outsource me to a local company.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this service, which failed to meet even the most basic expectations for professionalism and customer care. The communication was horrendous—despite multiple attempts to get in touch across three different platforms—email, phone, and WhatsApp—there was complete radio silence for over 24 hours, and my trip was due in less than a day. This lack of responsiveness is completely unacceptable and left me scrambling to make alternative plans at the last minute.

Additionally, I was promised a refund for a canceled booking, but to date, I have yet to see any sign of this refund, despite repeated follow-ups. It’s disheartening to be promised something that never materializes, and it highlights the company’s lack of reliability and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Throughout the entire process, calls, emails, and messages were ignored, making it clear that they have no regard for their clients or their time. It’s incredibly frustrating to be met with silence when you’re simply trying to confirm important details, such as the booking time.

Given this deeply unsatisfactory experience, I strongly suggest exploring alternatives. AmazonExperience offers a far more reliable and customer-friendly option, with excellent communication and a trustworthy service that actually follows through on its promises.
