Our guide Ivan made the whole experience run smoothly throughout the 3 days. Ivan ensured that we made most of all the amazing places we stopped on the way and went a step further and accompanied us in star watching. He was super patient and adapted the tour to the group.
Food throughout the 3 days was great considering the more rustic conditions we were spending the 3 days. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend the tour and our guide Ivan!

Tive uma excelente experiência com a Howlanders desde o primeiro contato. Estava pesquisando uma excursão do Atacama para o Salar do Uyuni e, desde o início, a equipe foi extremamente atenciosa, profissional e prestativa. A comunicação sempre foi clara e eficiente, o que me passou muita confiança durante todo o processo.
Infelizmente, tive um imprevisto pessoal que me obrigou a cancelar a viagem. Mesmo assim, fui prontamente atendido pela equipe, que demonstrou grande compreensão e empatia diante da situação. O cancelamento foi tratado de forma rápida e transparente, com o reembolso realizado conforme combinado, o que reforça ainda mais a seriedade e o respeito da Howlanders com seus clientes.
Sem dúvida, recomendo a Howlanders e, no futuro, pretendo voltar a contratá-los.

Well organized and on time. A small group which was great to stay together. Had the right amount of rest stops but should allow more time at the rest stops to enjoy the scenery.

Great experience
No problem at all, i booked a 4 days tour in the Bolivian plateau and it was awesome. The agency took care of me for all the time of the tour and the price was fair for the experience.

Poor Communication and Lack of Basic Travel Information
I booked an activity through Howlanders and received only a basic confirmation with a reservation number. There was no voucher, no clear meeting point, no meeting time, and no practical instructions.
The address provided was incomplete (just a street name and number, without a town, postcode, or clear office name), which made it impossible to locate in advance. In a remote destination like Puerto Williams, this is especially problematic.
After multiple follow-ups, I was finally informed that the confirmation email was the “voucher” and given the meeting time and location. I also had to ask separately about the ticket process and whether I needed to visit an office beforehand.
Overall, I found the communication very poor and unnecessarily stressful. These are basic details that should be provided automatically when booking, especially when traveling in isolated areas.
I would not book through this platform again and would recommend improving customer support and information clarity.
