Genuinely excellent service throughout
Genuinely excellent service throughout. Shah dealt with my purchase and was one of the most helpful sales staff I have ever met. He went out of his way to find the flooring we wanted. We settled on a herringbone whitewash style chosen from a sample. Unfortunately when the actual batch arrived it was quite different. Shah sorted it immediately, he had the batch recalled and continued to search other suppliers and send a selection of samples. He managed to secure us a great price on the one we chose. We ordered a pallet (approx 64 sq mtr) we were not disappointed. The floor was amazing. The service we had was brilliant and would recommend the company and particularly Shah to anyone looking for flooring and anyone that appreciates too of the range service.
Well done guys, whatever it is you guys do to create your work ethos, please don’t stop. It works brilliantly.
A pleasure to have received your service.

Poor service
Poor service, bought 48 boxes of laminate through to these guys and when I tried to return 6 boxes because I didn't needed them Shahid said I had to pay for the return, do bear in mind that that each box is quite big over 9kg and needs to be returned on a pallet which is quite expensive.
To make things worse I found out that this company not only is more expensive but also acts as a middle man to another company that provided the same laminate and cheaper, with free returns.
So before you buy check UK Flooring Direct first, chances are you will find what you need at a cheaper price with free returns.
Overall I don't recommend the painful experience of dealing with Home Floors, not worth the time and money.

Svar fra Homes and Floors
Hi Pedro,
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. Homes and Floors are very sorry that you are unsatisfied with your flooring purchase experience. However, I would like to raise a couple of points:
1. We sell this product (8mm laminate herringbone) for £25.00 per sqm and UKFD charge £26.99 per sqm (of course there will be other companies that charge more on some comparable products and others that charge less than us but I don't see why this is grounds for a negative review?). You're welcome to buy from anywhere and our prices are clearly stated.
2. We followed the terms of contract as agreed in the T&C's returns section;
"If the client wishes to return an order (in part or in full) where the goods are not damaged or defective, they shall be liable for all courier costs (including arranging return delivery) and a 25% restocking fee."
I explained that you can return the unused packs as long as they are still sealed and in resalable condition, which they all were and you were refunded. You expected us to come and collect them from your home free of charge. We are not a courier company and all deliveries are subcontracted to third party couriers. Furthermore, I waived the 25% restocking fee and gave you a full refund for the 6 packs as a goodwill gesture.
3. We refuse to be blackmailed with threats of leaving a bad review if we don't make a full refund and arrange the collection of your return free of charge.
Homes and Floors offers best wishes for the future.
Thank you
Shahid

Ordered through Shah. I had to delay initial delivery due to building works not sufficiently progressed . Shah rearranged smoothly. Once delivery made one packet had been damaged in transit. Again replacements organised quickly and smoothly. Floor laid throughout house and greatly admired by visitors. Great quality, good price and excellent company to deal with
