Our processing time is 1 to 2 business days, and the shipping estimate at checkout is 5 to 15 business days, so the delivery was only about three days later than the outer estimate. That said, it is our responsibility to ensure your order arrives on time and in proper condition, and we clearly missed the mark on the packaging.

This is an updated review. I posted one this morning about my frustrating experience with getting my order and the lack of communication from Hoft regarding my order. I'm amending the review because a helpful and conciliatory Hoft representative called me as soon as they opened to offer apologies and solutions for my problem. It seems they're new to the US market and trying to figure out how to deal with the new ways of doing business here under our present US administration. I totally understand their difficulties and appreciated the information and the solution offered. Even though I don't have my order yet, and it will arrive later than originally predicted, I do feel reassured that they're monitoring its progress.

Your order was placed as a pre-order, and as noted at checkout and in your confirmation email, we collect funds up front to reserve your table within the estimated delivery window of September 7 – 28, 2025. We recognize we’re nearing the end of that timeframe and are doing everything possible to ensure it arrives without making it late.
The table has already reached our Blaine, Washington transfer facility and is waiting for pickup by our U.S. carrier for the final leg to Michigan. That pickup is expected any day now, and once collected the carrier will contact you directly to schedule your delivery appointment.

The chairs are beautiful and work well with our round table. The whole family loves them. One small thing I would fix for myself, is thicker padding on the bottom. My rear squished the foam to the wood. Long periods of sitting gave me numb butt lol.

Your order includes White Glove delivery with full assembly, quoted at 5–15 business days at checkout and in your confirmation email. Orders have a standard 2-business-day processing period before that delivery window begins, so today is business day 7 of the 5–15 day timeline.
Your shipment was labeled and tracking was created and emailed to you on the 16th. We’re now awaiting the carrier’s pickup from our warehouse; once collected, transit to your area is typically very short. The carrier will contact you directly by phone and email to schedule a delivery appointment that works best for you.

Web site was easy to navigate through
Today I have just placed my first order with HoftHome, for two counter stools that were on sale. Overall, it was a pleasant online shopping experience and navigating through their web site was easier and more intuitive than most furniture websites. I really appreciated that it was very easy to find where they ship from (Canada). Compared to most furniture stores, when shopping online, you sometimes need quite a few clics and scrolls to finally find where they ship from, or where their store is located, which is something you want to know right away, right? The only thing that irritated me a bit is that there was no direct tapping to be re-directed to the « end of summer sale » that was advertised on their home page. And no « Sales » section in the drop down menu either. So you find the items that are on sale as you scroll through every section. But other than that, shipping and delivery infos are clear and easy to find. Also, there is plenty of descriptions and measurements for every items. Checking out was a breeze aswell.

We’re very sorry for the frustration this has caused. We did send tracking on August 26th and your order was delivered August 29th, ahead of the original September 7–28 delivery window.
Unfortunately, one of the boxes was misplaced by the carrier.
Regarding communication, we received your email on Sunday, but with the Labour Day long weekend our office was closed Monday.
We replied first thing Tuesday morning and have been in direct contact since.
We are still anticipating the carrier to deliver the missing box early next week. In the rare event it does not arrive, we will overnight ship a replacement to ensure you receive your full order without further delay.
