Uno dei giorni più belli della mia vita!
Ho viaggiato con Terry e Keith nel tour di un giorno per le Highlands da Edimburgo.
È stato uno dei giorni più belli della mia vita!
Nonostante la lunghezza del tour, Terry e Keith hanno organizzato diverse soste per assaporare al meglio il panorama delle Highlands e anche durante il viaggio in bus ci hanno indicato delle gemme imperdibili lungo la strada.
Ho molto apprezzato che Terry ci avvisasse quando la strada sarebbe diventata un po' selvaggia, così da poter prendere i medicinali per il mal d'auto in tempo - davvero premurosa!
Nonostante viaggiassi da sola non mi sono sentita affatto sola: durante tutto il viaggio, sono stati condivisi da Terry e Keith aneddoti personali, leggende locali, consigli su cibo e bevande da provare, fatti storici e nozioni geografiche.
Il bus era pulito e super confortevole, sono state programmate anche molte soste per poter acquistare snack, cibo caldo e souvenir.
Letteralmente indimenticabile!
La prossima volta che sarò in Scozia non mancherò di scoprire quali altre esperienze Highlands Experience Tours offre perché la felicità è 100% assicurata.

It was a great trip but make sure to book early
It was a great trip! Michael, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and had a lot of interesting stories. He definitely made the trip more enjoyable and seemed determined to make sure everyone had a great time. My only suggestion is that they should skip the battleground and spend some time in one of the cute towns they pass through. Also make sure to book early to get the better accommodations. We stayed at the Travel Lodge and i would NOT recommend it. Others (who booked earlier) stayed at great B&Bs.

We also appreciate your feedback on the battleground stop and the accommodations. People regularly find the history of Culloden to be engaging and informative but we can fully respect that this may not be everyone's cup of tea.
As for the accommodations, we understand the importance of booking early to ensure the best options, and we always encourage guests to plan ahead. We’re sorry to hear that the Travel Lodge didn’t meet expectations, but we’re glad to hear others had a more enjoyable stay at the B&Bs.

Highland Tours Loch Ness etc
From walking into Nero for Highland Tours info, the girls were full of energy, enthusiasm, and dare I say confidence that they offered a great package. Quite right. Professional, Punctual, Energetic, with clear instructions at every stop. Terry our guide was highly energetic and enthusiastic, with plenty of history and humour supplied. Where does she get her energy from?! A number of ad hoc extra stops on our tour as time allowed, Terry and our driver (Graham?) really know their stuff. Unquestionably recommended , time passes fast on a 13 hour tour with them, even on the final return drive back to Edinburgh we were kept well entertained . Ask for Terry as your guide, you wan't be disappointed.

En mi opinión es un viaje súper largo y cansado para parar con una foto de las Highlands y dos horas en el Lagoness que básicamente te permiten ver desde un pequeño espacio, sabiendo que la climatología es informada un día antes para saber si hay crucero o se debería haber avisado de ello. En este sentido lo que nos habría compensado inteligentemente hubiera sido pasar esas horas muertas en Inverness, que es un pueblo maravilloso. Es un viaje muy largo de 12 horas para mí poco recomendable y agotador.

Our driver guides strive to provide a balanced experience with some photo stops and some longer stops. The boat and castle is visit is listed as an optional extra and is subject to availability and weather. Unfortunately, it can be cancelled in rare occasions due to high wind but the drivers will do their best to still give you a 5* experience.

Highly recommend! We had a great time on the Loch Ness and Glen Coe tour with Charlie and Hugh on July 1st. They were absolute sweethearts and we learnt a lot. Looking forward to hopefully joining an Isle of Skye tour in the future.

5-Day Highland Experience’s Scottish Choice Tour
Our tour with Highland Experience Tours was seamlessly organised and executed. From the accommodation team through to our wonderful tour guide and driver, Alex.
Alex was very caring and always made sure we were all clear about local amenities, times to meet back, recommendations for dining and touring in our free time which was really helpful.
He was knowledgeable and either relayed wonderful history and stories, or played music to everyone’s liking. He also has a lovely sense of humour, appreciated by all😊 Alex made an effort to squeeze in extra stops if time permitted.
And wow, the Scottish Highlands…absolutely stunning!!! Really good balance of activity and time spent on the bus. I honestly wouldn’t change a thing.

Journey of a Livetime
We did the 3-Day Orkney & The Far North Tour and were very exicited what the tour would bring. I couldn´t describe all the experiences we made there in form of a classical review so I wrote a little poem:
In Orkney´s embrace, where the wild winds sweep,
With Iain, the Scotsman, we journeyed deep.
His special kilt he wore with pride,
A Scottish brogue, a very skilled guide.
He led us through sights, both grand and small,
With laughter echoing, we saw it all:
From ancient stones to cliffs so steep,
and Puffins dancing where the waves do leap.
His humor was dark, but sharp and bright,
filled our days with so much delight.
His stories from former times of yore
left us laughing and craving for more.
Each stop, well timed, yet we were free to roam,
Made Orkney feel as if it was our home.
The playlist rich with Scottish lore
with songs, that touched our heart´s core.
For every sight, both old and new,
Our gratitude to Iain, is due.
A tour so great, we won't forget,
on a future tour with Highland experience, our hearts have set.

Absolutely Brilliant Day
Our tour guide Terri was fantastic, so much cultural and historical information, the comfort breaks were ample and timings spot on. Loch Ness was wonderful and the cruise interesting. Well worth the price.
Having already done a 5 day Highland tour the week before, which didn’t include Loch Ness, am so glad I took this day trip from Edinburgh and learnt more from Terri in one day than the whole 5 days tour.

It is a long trip, and it is well worth the time. In 12 hrs I leaned a lot about highland, saw amazing sights, and feel more ready for a second trip to some of the small towns we learned about along
The knowledge, humor, and personality of the tour guide Charlie, and the experience and personality of Brody the Coach driver. Gave my family and I a wonderful insight to the history and culture of Scotland.

Nice tour
Nice tour, confortable bus, does the expected stops for most iconic places. A bit of a rush, but worth the day off Edinburgh to see the highlands
Positive: the stops, the crew (Terry & Neil), the food (highland chocolate), the bus
To improve: (1) the shops look all the same, a bit too “tourist focus” for me. It I guess it may be difficult to get normal shops to accommodate a bus of 50 tourists.
(2) the hairy cows :-). Seeing 3 of them in a field is a bit disappointing

Lots of off topic talking
Some great sites visited on this ride but the guided tour involved lots and lots of off topic talking which made it hard to enjoy the experience. Our driver, Paul S, served as both driver and tour guide. I’m not sure why there wasn’t a designated tour guide for our journey. Apart from a few short stretches of music, Paul S talked for several hours. He shared some Scotland history but also talked extensively about his personal life, he mentioned his girlfriend Lisa several times, he talked about his step-father, his own personal drinking habits, and told stories about driving with his daughter. He also described the full details of a dream he had where he crashed the tour bus. He went on to talk about how his partner is into witchcraft and continued with details about politics, Logan Paul, Netflix documentaries and skateboarding. All this to say I learned more about Paul S on the tour than about Scotland’s history. He was an excellent driver and was very passionate about his job but in my preference there was too talking during our 13 hour day.

Amazing!
We booked a five day trip to the Isle of Skye and everything in between.
It was an amazing trip!
We have been with Highland Experience Tours before and again it was amazing.
We saw different things every time and our Driver Graham was awesome. So interesting information he shared and he is so thoughtful and nice.
Unfortunately I got a severe back pain and Graham did everything to help me. Even got me to the emergency room at the Isle of Skye. That’s how is managed to resume our trip otherwise I would have gone home.
