Established in 2003, HiFiSound is a family-run business in the North East of England with both a dedicated website and a physical ‘bricks and mortar’ presence. Based at Castlegate Mill, a historic former spice mill on the banks of the River Tees in Stockton, we offer two dedicated demonstration rooms and an extensive showroom. We specialise in high-performance audio from brands we truly believe in, including Amplification from Advance Paris and Hegel, Turntables from Pro-ject & Rega, Speakers from PMC, Monitor Audio and cables from Chord Company & Van den Hul. To help you upgrade to your dream system, we offer a specialist part-exchange service, making it easier than ever to trade in your existing gear for the latest technology. We aren't a faceless big retailer, nor a one-man band; we are a "happy medium" of enthusiasts genuinely interested in what we do. Whether you are visiting our Stockton demo rooms for a personal listening session or browsing online, our ultimate aim is to put a smile on your face through great music.

Yet again another order fulfilled in…

Yet again another order fulfilled in double quick time excellent on prices not like a lot of greedy HiFi shops £27 for 1ltr of wash it 2 that's a proper Mickie take HiFi sound £15, Audio Technica headshells HS-6 £25 here yet i have seen them for as much as £30 and thats why I use HiFi sound second to none delivery service UPS orders quickly made up despatched packed so well you could play foot ball with the goods and they would survive excellent company excellent service everything is spot on i really can not see me going anywhere else 😀 very happy

Apologies for the delay that occurred during delivery.

Because the item was out of stock, we had to order it directly from our supplier, who was also experiencing stock shortages, and we were not made aware.

We sincerely apologise for not keeping you updated along the way. We are look at our process to ensure better communication during unexpected delays in the future.

The communication from this company was…

The communication from this comoany was poor. I had no idea when my item was being delivered. So my main peice of feedback is to allow tracking of the order and or updates on expected delivery date.

Very sorry to hear about this Russell, I did follow up via email but it looks we have had some problems getting through. I have looked into your order and you were sent a tracking email when you order was dispatched. In some instances, these emails can get misdirected into spam/junk folders.

To give you insight into the timeline: because your item was out of stock when you placed the order on Saturday, we processed it first thing Monday morning when our supplier reopened. It was dispatched on Wednesday and delivered on Thursday, meeting our "usually dispatched within 72 hours" guideline.

That said, we appreciate your feedback regarding delivery transparency and will use it to improve our customer communication. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Absolutely excellent service

Absolutely excellent service . I’ve used HiFiSound twice so far and I’m really impressed. Both orders were dispatched very quickly and delivered 24 hr tracked.Secure packaging. Great communication. I will continue to deal with HiFi sound for my audio needs.

HiFi Sound cater to my audio…

HiFi Sound cater to my audio maintenance needs from Belts for my Rega P3 turntable and replacement Goldring E4 stylus to a Rega Mk2 PSU upgrade for my turntable! Everything arrived on time and well packaged to avoid damage.They are in short my go to for these items and I would recommend them.Thanks again.
