Set in 8.5 acres, The Oaks Crematorium is surrounded by beautiful ancient semi-natural woodland and wildflower meadow, providing a picturesque setting for the Crematorium building which has been sensitively designed. As well as creating a space that is relevant for all cultures, ages and beliefs, it provides a tranquil sanctuary for the bereaved, inspired by its natural setting.

Lovely wide window with great view out the back . Modern setting . Good sound system and visual screen . Well organised alongside the funeral directors we used.

A sense of peace on a highly emotional day.
The location of the Oaks Crematorium gives an air of peace and tranquility. It is set in an area of grassland surrounded by trees. The building itself is bright, airy and feels welcoming. This all helped me and my family to be at ease and to feel comfortable during a highly emotional day.

My Brothers Funeral.
Regarding my plan for my brothers funeral, on my first visit the staff were very helpful giving me all the information I needed and answering all my questions.
They gave me a guided tour of the building and explained where my guests would wait, help them enter the amazing auditorium where the service would take place also showing me outside the pleasant area for the floral tributes to be displayed after the service.
On the day of the funeral everything ran smoothly and all my guests told me afterwards how the auditorium and grounds provided the perfect, tranquil setting for a funeral.
Thank you to the staff at The Oaks Crematorium for being welcoming, supportive and sensitive on a difficult, emotional day for my friends and family.

No detail overlooked. If you have to have a funeral
If you have to have a funeral, it's not the best time.
The staff were kind, thoughtful and compassionate.
They were matter of fact about the more intimate matters but managed to be sensitive to my feelings at the same time.
The funeral was organised with practised ease and a few fumbles by guests were deftly handled.
I felt in charge, but not in control of the details. This left me free on the day to experience not act. A positive boon.
