More than happy with the service we got from Paul. Very knowledgeable, not pushy, made us feel very comfortable and was very accommodating with timings of visits.

I personally cannot rate Harper Tait, and specifically, George, who we dealt with throughout the process, highly enough.

I approached Harper Tait out of the blue with a very specific request for a quote; the team swiftly came back with a comprehensive quote that clearly broke down what we were paying for, and the gradings of the diamonds.

We swiftly agreed to meet George at Harper Tait's premises. I had no prior of experience of making such a purchase, and so came armed with various probing questions - George took the time to thoroughly answer each of them and put our minds at ease. For example, George explained the end to end process of how Harper Tait source their diamonds and turn them into beautiful engagement rings, in such a way that means they are able to offer both the highest quality, while maintaining a competitive price point.

George was clearly someone who is highly experienced in their field, whilst apt to provide clients with exactly what they specify. Notably, we provided Harper Tait with just one stock picture of a rather niche style which we were after for the engagement ring, and we provided little in the way of further elaboration on details. Nonetheless, George took the time to understand our ask, and the end product is something much better than we could have ever hoped for - my fiancé is constantly stopped by others for the uniqueness and beauty of this very specific ring which Harper Tait brought to life - and against a very tight timeline at that!

All in all, George communicates without a fault - timely, clear, and willing to answer all questions honestly and comprehensively - whilst also clearly being highly capable at the trade itself.

The quality of Harper Tait's service is reflected in the "Harper Tait Promise", a Lifetime Aftercare policy which you should look into on their website if you haven't already - it demonstrates the confidence Harper Tait have in the service which they provide - and rightly so, in my view.

A very easy process designing my fiancées engagement ring. I was made to feel at ease throughout and felt very listened to. I was very happy with the final result and the added touch of a hidden gem was just perfect.

Directly dealt with George who was both extremely helpful and informative and aided with making a daunting decision nearly stress free and somewhat easy.
There was no pressure from George and the honesty he gave went a long way!
Very transparent and I could see not only the skill and knowledge he had but the care and passion he has in what he does.
Although brief as I dealt with George, I had great interactions with Paul who was also passionate about what he does and very welcoming.

I bought an engagement ring for my fiancé late last year - and from the start, Paul was super helpful and generous with his time. He took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered and that I was happy with the ring given it was a bespoke design. The final product was really beautiful! We have also taken advantage of the aftercare service and it was as promised (cleaning etc.) - we would highly recommend them to our friends!

Just wanted to say thank you to George for helping with everything in picking out the perfect engagement ring for my fiancé. Had only planned on an inital 30 minute meeting to help inform myself of what I needed to look for but 90 minutes in, walked out completely satisfied with bespoke ring on order.
George was amazing in going through and explaining everything giving me the confidence in what I was buying. He also showed, whilst beautiful designs/stones, only options within our budget and never pushed to go higher making it a very comfortable experience throughout. I can’t recommend Harper Tait highly enough. From our very first appointment with George, the experience was unlike anything we’d had with other jewellers in Hatton Garden. So many places felt rushed and transactional almost like being processed through a factory, with strict appointment times and limited choice - ushered in and out with little time to explore or feel truly heard.

George, however, was the complete opposite. He took time to really listen, understand our ideas, and once my partner and I had a better idea of what we liked he guided me through possibilities I hadn’t even thought of. He patiently talked me through all the details of the diamonds – from carat weight and cut to ratios and quality – so that I knew exactly what to look for and what everything meant. It made the whole process feel easy, not overwhelming.

His attention to detail, patience, and creativity made the experience deeply personal and collaborative rather than pressured or routine. The result is the most beautiful, unique engagement ring that feels completely ours.

If you’re looking for something meaningful and an experience that’s as special as the ring itself, I wholeheartedly recommend Harper Tait and George.
