Terrible company. Rescheduled my job twice (cancelling each an hour beforehand at 630am) and then sent me an email telling me they had booked me in for a house clean on Xmas day.

They are running a terrible business. Go local and pay the person direct is my advice.

I will never use these guys again. Amazed they still exist to be honest.

The team arrived reasonably on time but that was essentially all they managed to do. 3 cleaners for 4 hours and 40 minutes could not clean the dust off of window ledges and walls! They will plead that it was not enough time but sorry even an amateur cleaner such as myself could clean an entire EMPTY house of dust and marks on walls or floors. However, clearly this was not enough for this company.

They are slightly cheaper than other companies and now it is clear why - they undercut the market to get your money and do a shoddy job.

save your money - go elsewhere.

I rang them on a Saturday and they were with me Monday morning, it was very fast and friendly, did a super job for a really super price. I want to tell everyone about them

The cleaning experts got to my home 15 minuts before time. They did not waste any time but went directly to the cleaning. The results were more than what I expected, and the price was much reasanable. I plan to use handy cleaners every month, as they proveds to be professionals.

Handy Cleaners are lifesavers. I am such a busy person and do not have the time to handle my house cleaning. I regularly use this company as they have never let me down at any one time. Their cleaning is always professional and thorough, while their pricing is extremely fair. I have never gotten any problem dealing with them, and I love the fact that they also offer discounts which encourage me to keep moving with them. Besides, they are so flexible, and they always have time for my cleaning even during odd hours. I highly recommend these professionals.

Dreadful company. Let us down completely and didn't even turn up. We received confirmation emails, confirmation of costs and a promise of four people for five hours to clean our house pre carpet fitting. No one showed up. No explanation. No apology.

Not until after my birthday party, that I discovered the benefits of getting the help of these experts. My house was messy with spills all over the carpet, seats and floor, while trash lied in every corner of the room. I felt tired and did not imagine that I could spend a second of my time trying to get rid of this mess. That was when I decided to call my friend to assist me with the cleaning. However, my friend was busy at the time and couldn't come to my aid. All I remember is the advice she provided, about getting in touch with Handy Cleaners and have my house spotlessly clean. To me, this was a great idea as I did not want to handle any cleaning. I made a call to the company, and it was answered so fast. Luckily for me, the company has a slot in that day, and they promised to come in some hours. A van pulled over within some hours with 2 people equipped with cleaning supplies. They handled the cleaning so fast and efficiently. My house had never been such clean not even with the much effort I place when cleaning my house. It smelled so fresh, and they even did an extra task of getting rid of the grease on my kitchen stove and the stains that were on my rugs even before the party. The price charged was so reasonable, and I can tell you for a fact, that I did not struggle with the fees even after I had spent too much for the party. Since then I decided that hiring these professionals would not just be a one-time thing, but I will hire them regularly as living in a clean and dust free house is so awesome.

Professional and excellent services. The staff at Handy Cleaners arrived in my home at exactly 8 in the morning. This was great for me, as I had a busy schedule and did not want to stay for long waiting for them to complete the cleaning. On arriving the cleaners did not waste any time. They knew all I required from them, and they divided the tasks amongst themselves and accomplished the results fast. My carpets were steam cleaned while my leather furniture was left spotless and shining. I have no regrets having hired these professionals, and every penny I spent hiring them was worth it. When I want cleaning services again, nothing can make me look anywhere else as I got all I wanted from these professionals. Will definitely use them again.

Avoid this company. I booked the end of tenancy clean with handy cleaners and have had the worst experience. Firstly they did not clean the house to estate agent standards- there were marks left in the bathroom, dirt and dust on the carpet (when we specifically paid extra for a deep carpet clean), hair left in the sink etc. When we asked for a reclean (this comes as part of the package) the team arrived and had a very bad attitude- they ended up shouting at myself and my partner in another language and then packed up and drove off without finishing the job or giving an explanation. My partner and I ended up cleaning the whole rest of the house frantically before the estate agent came back to do the check out again. The check out report stated that the house had not been professionally cleaned despite paying over £178 for the service. I have since tried multiple times to get in contact with handy cleaners but have had no response, my emails remain unanswered and ignored. This company is very unprofessional, unreliable and to be avoided at all costs.

I would never recommend this to anyone who needs a cleaner in a timely fashion (aka, cleaner for Airbnb before guests arrive if you aren't there). I only decided to use Handy because Airbnb used to use them so I figure they are pros at doing cleanings in between Airbnb guests if you aren't there to clean yourself. But the way Handy works is not compatible. Your place will only be cleaned if there is a cleaner in the area (who is not employed by Handy) who will pick up your request. Kind of like Uber. However, if no one picks up your request, Handy tells you a false excuse like "there was a last minute cancellation" (it was never assigned in the first place to be cancelled) and your reservation is rescheduled for the next day. As you can imagine... if you are using their cleaning services for Airbnb guests, there is no option to reschedule as your guests will have already arrived. Of course, this happened to me and it was rescheduled for the next day, which of course doesn't work. I had very nice Airbnb guests who were ok with this and said they would be ok with the cleaning coming the next day after they arrived. Then the next day... same thing... "there was a last minute cancellation" for the cleaning, aka, no one ever was assigned. oh and it was rescheduled for 4 days later?!!? Is that a joke?!?!?
Luckily the second person I worked with in customer service understood my situation and refunded the entire amount (I didn't ask them, I basically told them to do this) and I was given 10 GBP in credits, which of course I will never use.
Bottom line, do not use Handy if you need a cleaning service done for a certain time and a certain day. In the end, I had to hire emergency cleaners in London which cost me 40 quid and a bad Airbnb review, which any Airbnb host can understand is extremely harmful!

A cleaner came to my place, cleaned for 2 hours and said she didn't know what else to clean but we should pay for 3 hours. The first time in my life that a cleaner does not know what to do, she kept standing while my husband though of possible tasks for her.
After sending her away, they told me when I called that I could not get the hour I paid without service and what I should do is prepare a list of tasks for her.
two learnings here:
- They don't give a damn about customer satisfaction
- They have incompetent cleaners
