Extremely unprofessional, and I hope I and anyone else NEVER have to deal with these individuals again. They threatened to, word for word, “proceed with legal action” through TEXT and NOT formal writing. They texted my personal number and threatened to sue if I did not pay my debt through them. I will be talking to an attorney about these threats made against me, using my phone number.

They always do their best to help if I hit a snag in my payments, so grateful!!

If you have to deal with a debt collection agency I hope it is Halsted Financial. I didn't get a bunch of annoying calls that I would've instinctively ignored anyway, I got a text, clicked a link and within minutes set up a super affordable payment plan. I may never pay a credit card bill again! 😁

The offer to settle was really to good to be true. And it took me a while and lots of research to realize it wasn't a scam. They really are trying to work with people to not only help them settle what is owed, but do it in a way that actually makes it obtainable.
