Dear Bessie,

UPDATE: Replacement earrings dispatched on the 2nd of October via Royal Mail tracking number VU701460634GB and delivered on the 6th of October. No acknowledgment that we made things right, so we updated our review to keep everyone informed.

We’re sorry that you received the incorrect size earrings. Having reviewed your order and the photographs provided through our chat, we can confirm that the smaller size was sent by mistake. The correct large size will be dispatched today at no additional cost.

We have not received your emails. We have checked our email addresses and confirmed that they are working correctly, with messages from other customers arriving without issues. There may have been a typing error in the address used, although we cannot confirm this without seeing the failed delivery message.

While you previously contacted us through chat about delivery, the sizing issue was first brought to our attention in your subsequent chat messages. Once we received your photographs, we confirmed the mistake and arranged a replacement.

We also apologise for initially being unable to match your review to an order. Thank you for providing the details that allowed us to resolve this, and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

In each response, we asked you to submit a return request using the returns link at the bottom of our website homepage. Unfortunately, we have not received a return request through the portal. We also checked your order for an alternative way to contact you, but no mobile telephone number was provided, so we were unable to follow up by text message.

Please check your spam or junk folder for our replies and submit the return through the website. Once the request is received, we will be happy to assist you with returning the faulty earring.

Thank you for your update. We would like to clarify that your return was authorised as soon as the request reached our returns system. This was part of our normal returns process and was not prompted by your Trustpilot review.

We are sorry that you did not receive our earlier email replies. As previously explained, these may have been redirected to your spam or junk folder by your email provider. Halo’s London does not operate a telephone call centre; customer enquiries are handled through our online chat facility and by email. Unfortunately, the jewellery business you telephoned is not connected with us.

Your return is now authorised, and we would be happy to provide the return postage. Please let us know whether you would prefer a printable returns label or a QR code, and we will email it to you. Once the faulty earrings have been returned, we can arrange a fully functional replacement as requested.

We’re sorry that your order arrived later than expected. However, tracking confirms that the parcel was delivered on 18 August—one day after the estimated delivery date, rather than the four to five days suggested in this review.

Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees, and occasional short courier delays can unfortunately occur. This review was posted as soon as the estimated delivery date had passed, before the parcel was successfully delivered the following day.

As this order was placed through Amazon rather than directly through our website, any return or refund request must be submitted through your Amazon account. We have not received a return request through Amazon. If you no longer want the item, you are welcome to open a return there; however, we cannot issue a full refund while the delivered item is retained solely because it arrived one day after the estimated delivery date.

According to the delivery information provided by Yodel, your parcel (tracking number JJD0002234959436745) was successfully delivered through your letterbox on 21 July 2026 at 10:19am. Prior to delivery, Yodel also confirmed that the parcel was out for delivery at 10:04am on the same day.

For complete transparency, you can verify these tracking updates independently by entering your tracking number directly on the Yodel website, rather than relying solely on the tracking information displayed on our website.
