Gets damaged in transit
Whilst I appreciate its not the easiet thing to ship this is the second time multiple blocks are broken when you actually open the packet of salt blocks. Bear in mind you will have salt waste due to the damage in shipping. Price is good but condition of product on arrival not so good.

In addition the DPD driver was really helpful with getting the heavy boxes into my house, which was much appreciated.

Original issue resolved - a mark of a good company
The delivery comes via DPD. I ordered 10 bags of salt bricks and all the bags contained broken bricks. Its the second time it happens in succession - first time it happened I thought this was just bad luck, but this now seems a consistent problem.
Its messy and a hassle to insert broken bits of bricks of salt into the Kinetico softeners. I have a salt bricks based softener so I dont have the mess and hassle of salt bits .
Is it Hallite or DPD rough handling that cause the breakages ?
Will have to go back to buying from suppliers who deliver with their own vans who are much more caring and from from whom I never got broken salt bricks before.
UPDATE: Halite's MD reached out to me - a big plus for Halite - explained that he will take the rough handling issue up with their courier DPD and sent me a replacement shipment. All salt bricks were good and intact this time. Glad the company follows up issues and is keen to rectify them

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re very sorry to hear about your experience.
Our deliveries are handled by DPD, and it’s disappointing to hear that the salt bricks arrived broken again. We completely understand how frustrating and inconvenient this must be, especially when you chose brick salt specifically to avoid the mess and hassle of loose pieces.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. This is certainly not the experience we want our customers to have.
If you could contact us at info@halitesalts.co.uk, we’d really appreciate the opportunity to look into this further and resolve the issue for you.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
Kind regards,
