Gymglish is funny because 5 times a week it entertains me with its content, even ironic, and it puts me to the test, it challenges me.
and then I'm curious to know the result of the daily test, how much my English is improving, if it tends to be a little less "macaronic" after more than 1000 lessons...!!

Me sorprendió mi aprendizaje.

I appreciate the 5 "lessons" every week. I enjoy talking with KI. Sometimes the topics are a bit one-sided, so I have to bring the conversation toward other topics.

Gymglish is a great way to learn a language. It is fun, entertaining, and funny, even as it delivers thorough, in-depth lessons covering culture, grammar, and more.
Saga Baldoria gave me the knowledge I needed to navigate a trip through Calabria, Italy.
(Pro tip: if you are going to Calabria, bone up on your Italian, you are going to need it!)
I never realized how much I would need to speak Italian there! It was a life saver.

My perfect addiction
Over the past year I enjoyed 5 days every week a few minutes of laughter, relaxation and keeping in touch with two foreign languages. I don’t have the time to spend more than ten minutes with it, but I can decline verbs and use adjectives correctly - something I was unable to do since leaving school. A great achievement in my late 60s!

Too academic
Actually! Since I don't work in a company, the stories about the perfume firm quickly bored me. I find the texts very, very boring because it's not my world. I like stories, but this one, a corporate story, really bores me. Do you have any other texts to suggest?

Thank you for sharing your feedback.
We’re sorry to hear that the Delavigne perfume company storyline didn’t appeal to you. Gymglish is built around a recurring fictional universe, with different situations, characters and formats, but we understand that this corporate setting may not be everyone’s cup of tea.
Your comment is very useful for us, as we’re always looking for ways to make our lessons more varied and engaging for different learners.
Kind regards,
