I would have given a 2 or 3 stars because the job wasn't completed but the guy that came for the cushion did a great job. Hence the 4.

From start to finish I was updated on dates and timings. The company was very professional and I had to cancel my appointment and it was no bother to them rescheduling. Sofa was sorted quickly and with minimum fuss. Very pleasant to deal with. A very big thank you

Quick and easy. The guy that came out was really polite and did a great job.

A bit slow because the wrong part was was sent first but was a put right in the end was pleased with the sevice.

I paid for extra 5 year cover and my first mechanical issue took over 3 months to get an engineer and then he fixed that part and now all of it has stopped working.

I purchased a leather sofa from DFS and was sold a Guardman care plan for around $400, with the understanding that it would provide cover for damage to the leather, including cracking and other issues.

After only about a year, the colour on my sofa started fading and the leather began peeling. I contacted Guardman expecting the care plan to cover the problem. Initially, I was told that a technician would be sent out to inspect the sofa.

However, after waiting a week, I received another letter stating that this particular issue was not covered by the policy.

I feel completely misled about what I was paying $400 for. If the care plan does not cover serious leather deterioration such as peeling and fading after only a year, it is difficult to understand what customers are actually paying for.

In my experience, this has been one of the worst customer-service experiences I have had. I would strongly advise anyone considering paying for a Guardman care plan to carefully read the exclusions and make absolutely sure they understand what is—and, more importantly, what is not—covered.

Very disappointing and, in my view, a complete waste of money.

Wouldn’t go near them typical insurance company. Leather started falling apart on a 2 year old sofa from Harvey normans and paid €2,500 plus €250 insurance… then they tell you its wear and tear…. Absolute cowboys pity you can’t give no stars

The shop we purchased the item from said it was covered with them for all damage they have said no to the repair will never use this company again and sounds like the shop I purchased the item new this also but still sold the insurance great way to get money out of people for FREE

Called the helpline. I came across very unprofessional and rude woman, who was shouting at me on the phone.

Guardsman has always been very reliable. The website is easy to use to make a claim and the response is fast. We had them called out quite a few times to remove stains and it’s never been a problem. The last time we had two cushions replaced in our three seater they done a very good job. It was done professionally and the technician was very polite he cleared up everything. I would definitely recommend Guardman Thank you very much

Very helpful and friendly both to the lady on the phone and technician who completed the job . Carried out the repair to a very high standard thank you .

Have Guardsman Insurance on a Recliner Sofa bought from a leading online furniture company.
Had some problems ...and from start to finish dealing with Guardsman has been a nightmare...
Weeks after an inspection they claimed they hadn't received the report, if I hadn't have chased it they still wouldn't have .
Weeks passed and now they say they have located parts but will take up to a further 12 weeks...
Just not good enough....
Be careful if tempted by this company...!!

We are based just outside Glasgow and Jon arrived to fix my sofa at the time that was arranged. He was very professional and knowledgeable and fixed the issue I was having! Thanks Jon, you are a credit to the company!

Very professional clean friendly gave us the best results in reupholstering our two cloth recliners. Have had him twice before for other furniture

Absolutely brilliant! I made a mistake with times/dates and felt like I messed the guy around as wasn’t there when he was and had to reschedule so was going to leave a review regardless. But he was really great came and cleaned the water stains from my sofa and it’s brand new again! Thank you, thank you!

We had our leather oak knuckle rise and recliner chair repaired yesterday and the quality and professional service we received from Alfie ( Technician ) was outstanding he was very polite and engaging very skilled in his craft. As Alfie advised we stayed off the chair until the following day, after examination the chair is like brand new 👌 many thanks Alfie you are a credit to the company Kind regards Ian Seers

Guardsman were required to undertake a second visit to remove remnants of the stains which they did, without complaint or reservation and the settee is now stain free. Thanks guys

Unsatisfied with logging my incident and being told the case closed as this is insured until 2027?
I have had the sofa repaired several times and the problem keeps coming back-stitching coming away and scuff repair coming back through
We never sit on this sofa as it’s in a room we don’t use
Poor customer service-what’s the point of insurance?
