Service was good to arrange engineer visit, engineer turned up when stated was informative about process, and then came back to complete job when parts available. All in all excellent service provided

If you are considering taking out this insurance when you purchase your new sofa - dont. They take ages to respond to claims and when they do, they find a way to avoid actually sorting out the issue and then denying it. I repeat - do not take out insurance with this company. It is not worth it at all. I trust that they will reply to this trying to find a justification, however do not be fooled. They are effectively scammers.

Honestly, it's a scam. They are not interested in cleaning anything. They might send you a wipe if you're lucky. I've tried numerous times and no success. Waste of time and money unfortunately.

Really bad experience, no actions taken. Someone came to look at the issues but no updates or follow up afterwards.

We just wanted to say thank you to Guardsman for their wonderful customer care whilst dealing with a recent claim we made. We would in particular also like to praise Gordon from Furniture Master for his skill and professionalism when he came to repair damage to our leather chair, he was on time, polite and did a really great job. Thanks due all round!

Easy process to claim and repair carried out quickly.

The technician was prompt and quickly replaced a failed motor on our sofa. We don’t usually take out repair policies and we had thought our Guardsman policy had expired so we really appreciated the saving we had made in not having to fund a major repair.

Very helpful. Explained what was wrong how he was going to put it right. Work completed very well and he was very tidy.

I received excellent service throughout. When I initially rang to report a broken zip, the person who took the call was very polite and checked they had taken the correct details.
Following this, I had regular email updates and the technician who came out, explained he would need to take the sofa seat cover away for repair. By the end of the week, he contacted me and came back out to fit the repaired cover back on.

Still waiting for the technician to arrive. Been more than 3 weeks now since I reported the issue. When we bought the sofa we were told that they will fix it in 5 working days.

I would like to have left a 5 star for the repair of my sofa, but i cannot.

My sofa was damaged after my cat who i have had for 21years got sick and went blind and had to me put to sleep. She began scratching my sofa and missing her scratch post entirely. I had to fight to get the sofa repaired, but only after making a complaint did they agree to do it. They had attempted to tell me that my cat couldn't have done the damage in the timeframe that she did. I didn't know guardsman staff lived in my household. My cat was very behaved. She just got sick and began acting out of character.

The technician then attended my home address to repair the sofa after complaining that due to my husband not having a quick enough response to when he can attend that he wasn't going to get paid well because he wasn't able to book in any other jobs for the same day. That smaller jobs paid more. I tried to break the ice by giving him coffee and biscuits.

After taking apart my sofa like a block of Lego and putting it back together i noted that it wasn't slotted all the way back in and that the sofa back is higher then the rest of the sofa.

Guardsman have refused to fix this issue blaming the manufacture. This is not a manufacture fault. The technician is claiming that the sofa that i have owned for a while and looked at everyday, has stated it was like it before. Which is even more unbelievable.

It simply needs to be placed back together correctly. The technician has attended the address twice and informed me what he would report back to the company, only to tell them something completely different and my report then getting closed.

I believe the service this company offer is terrible, their staff are unprofessional and I would not recommend at all.

I have issued a complaint and the next bit of furniture I buy I will not be buying the cover offered if it is by Guardsman

Awful service, claim still not finalised and started in May, someone been out to look at furniture twice and still no further forward. Claim been closed twice by a system issue that they inform me they are fully aware of but can't do anything about! Only open mon-fri 9-5 which are most people's working hours, customer service dreadful!

The engineer was pleasant and friendly and explained what was wrong and how it would be fixed.

Had a technican come out to check over my sofa dfs had been out twice already to repair and done shoddie work technican took photos and looked over it now guardsman are saying its not covered in policy absoloutley furios with the blatant washing of hands by guardsman so much for being a reputable company typical scam dont use guardsman ever

I would have given a 2 or 3 stars because the job wasn't completed but the guy that came for the cushion did a great job. Hence the 4.
