Absolute nightmare with Grundfoss Sololift 2 CWC3…
We had a Grundfoss Sololift 2 CWC3 installed in our downstairs toilet in 2020. After a year or so, it started flushing itself randomly and loudly. This got worse and worse: we had to turn the toilet off at the plug in order to get any sleep. We called out a plumber who suggested the problem was with the non return valve, and water was leaking back in after the flush. He replaced it. A few months later, the problem started again. Again we replaced the non return valve and had a complete clean with pipes flushing. That didn't work. We have just replaced the pressure switch according to Grundfos troubleshooting guidelines. That didn't work. We are now left with little option but to get the whole thing replaced with a Saniflo. The Grundfos customer care line wouldn't even put me through to a human: it just told me via recorded message to speak to my installer. They don't seem to have any lists of approved engineers that I can find. I think we have probably spent around £800 trying to get this useless thing fixed and now face another £1500 or so to get it replaced completely. Our installer assured us that Grundfos was fine but next time I will make sure that I research customer service and how easy it is to find an engineer in the UK. Would absolutely not recommend.
Grundfos - mangelnde Qualität und Kundenfreundlichkeit
Ich habe mir vor 5 Jahren für meine Regenwasserzisterne die SBA3-45A Pumpe verbauen lassen. Diese ist für die Gartenbewässerung im Einsatz und war eher unterdurchschnittlich im Einsatz. Nachdem mir aufgefallen ist, dass die Pumpe ohne geöffneter Entnahmestelle immer wieder anfängt zu pumpen, habe ich nach Recherche in der Bedienungsanleitung das Rückschlagventil als Fehlerquelle ausfindig gemacht. Das Rückschlagventil ausgebaut, gereinigt und für 2 Tage ging die Pumpe wieder fehlerfrei. Leider ist das Problem danach wieder aufgetreten.
Ich bin von der Qualität der Pumpe, die fast 1000 EUR in der Anschaffung gekostet hat sehr unzufrieden. Jetzt benötige ich ein neues Rückschlagventil das fast 100 EUR kostet. Ich habe mich darauf hin an den Kundendienst von Grundfos gewandt, ob es hier eine kundenfreundliche Lösung gibt und wurde mit einem Satz mit den Hinweis, dass die Gewährleistungsfrist abgelaufen ist „abgespeist“. Im Nachhinein hätte ich mir gleich eine Pumpe aus dem Baumarkt für 1/3 Anschaffungskosten zulegen können.
Kann die Marke Grundfos nicht weiterempfehlen. Sowohl Produktqualität als auch Kundenzufriedenheit.

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I contacted this company for a repair/service at a residential property and was charged £500 + VAT, plus additional costs for parts and labour. When I asked for an explanation of why the charge was so high and what it covered, I received no response. If I could score minus five, I would. The pumps are already expensive, and with the current cost of living crisis, I cannot afford to throw money away at such an extortionate rate.

I called Grundfos for a submersible…
I called Grundfos for a submersible pump recommendation and was directed to a distributor who knew nothing about submersible pumps. She got me into a pump/Pressure Control Unit that isn't the best option. When I ask to return the unopened pump and control unit I was told there would be a 30% restock fee which is gouging in my book. I decide to use the pump only and see how it worked. Drop it in the hole and it won't run straight out of the box. Now I have a warrant claim.
Cuvo Pumping Solutions who I purchased from will not reply to my emails so I take it to Grundfos. I had one email reply from Grundfos sending me to another Dept. who would never respond.
Stay Away From Cuvo Pumping Solutions and Grundfos!!
Their warranty sucks.
Their warranty sucks.They start their warranty by the date code on the pump instead of the date that it was purchased.
so if it sets in inventory for a year you have already lost almost half of your warranty.

Avoid Grundfos Bought a solo lift 2…
Avoid Grundfos Bought a solo lift 2 macerator to replace a saniflow one that worked perfectly for 10 years. Should have stayed with Saniflow as the Grundfos one is noisy and runs for twice as long. Also goes off at random times when not in use. The customer service is shocking as demand £200 off you before sending an engineer under the warranty. Worse still they will not refund even though it is defective blaming everything under the sun and stating that a 20 second operation is acceptable. Avoid at all cost

Grundos are right in saying they replace the unit. However they only sent a new one which just proves that they need to stick to central heating as their macerators are not fit for purpose and their customer service is appalling. I have now had a 2nd opinion from a plumber who has agreed that the unit is absolute rubbish compared to Saniflow. Grundos wrong to blame installation

I took out a maintenance 24/7 call out…
I took out a maintenance 24/7 call out contract in April 2024.
I have been told by the company that Grundfos no longer do this work.
I have paid over £400 but they have let me down.

Meine Bewertung vom 28.4.24 hat tatsächlich dazu geführt, dass nach mehrtägigenTelefonaten Grundfos im Juni 24 eine kostenlose Ersatzpumpe an meinen Installateur geliefert hat.

Would not recommend buying this at all
Would not recommend buying this at all, very bad customer service. My pump started leaking at the weekend and they won't let me do anything with it because the guarantee won't be valid anymore, and no one can come out over the weekend to fix it, with only one shower in the house it's not an ideal situation. Also it is very noisy.

Nog steeds geen oplossing zie review 17/10/23
Op 17/10/2023 werd al review gestuurd ivm negatieve ervaringen met Grundfos pompen. We zijn nu 8 maand verder en nog steeds werkt 1 pomp niet goed. Schakelt niet over van regen- op stadswater. Maar geen reactie meer van Grundfos!!!!

Noisy pump that sounds like a door slamming downstairs followed by sounds of aliens communicating. If dishwasher is running it will sip water every few minutes which makes the Groundfos start up and yelp each time. Makes my insomnia worse. Heb enkele jaren geleden een scala 2 pomp van grundfos ge-installeerd. Binnen de garantieperiode van 2 jaar was deze defect geraakt. water lek doorheen het insectenfilter.. toen netjes vervangen binnen de garantie periode.. 5 jaar later heb ik nu weer het zelfde probleem.. reactie leverancier.. "helaas geen garantie van grundfos en is niet te herstellen" we bieden u graag een nieuwe pomp aan.. Ik heb vriendelijk bedankt..
Ik wens niet om de 5 jaar een nieuwe pomp te installeren van 700 euro +
Grundfos - Poor Products & Customer Service
I would not recommend Grundfos under any circumstance again. We purchased the STR2-2 pump about 2 years ago but due to delays with building work we did not install it until 5/6 months, It has worked for 5 months and suddenly stopped at the weekend. Whilst I understand it was out of warranty, after speaking to the team ( I would not refer to them as Customer Service as they do not provide any). I was told that as it was out of warranty that there was nothing they could do. No advice, direction or possible solutions.
I was going to lodge a compliant but know that they will not review their process or customer service levels so will not waste any further time on a company that is extremely unprofessional. Totally disappointed in both their product and service and will definitely source a new pump from a more reliable and customer focused company.
In reply to the response from Grundfos below, I will be declining their offer of help as this is too little too late. At no point did I ask for a replacement and clearly stated at the beginning of my call that I was totally aware it was out of warranty. A simple offer of any help or advice would have been appreciated, instead of being told that "you don't buy a car, not use it for two years then expect a replacement". I have purchased another pump from a more reputable company and who have far less negative reviews relating to the product and service.

This is our second sump pump from Grundfos in our kitchen and both had the same problem. They are simply not reliable.
Every now and then the pump decides not to work and needs to be shaked slightly, then it starts again. Why oh why it does that? We had the very same problem with the previous one, and that's why we bought a new one, yet it has exact same problem.
We clean our sump weekly from sediments etc to avoid that but it keeps happening. We are about to go on a holiday, and what are we supposed to do now? What a joke!

I am building my house
I am building my house, I had the well drilled and I installed the pump myself.
For two years the pump has been running flawless with a generator wired directly.
Last week I installed the controller CU301.
The tabs for the flow sensor were so hard to open, that one broke off.
I believe I still under warranty for this.
I don't want to buy a $700 controller because a broken tab.
I will not criticize the design, but a connectors with screws would be more reliable.
Grundfos first should answer the phone with a live person instead of directing me to a near distributor.
And as a worst scenario, offer an exchange unit ir a repair option.

Large pump critical application failure
We have purchased and installed two large submersible pumps [7,200 GPM] for storm water. Both pumps had seal leak failures at less than 500 hours of operation [stormwater application]. We contacted our local distributor February 9 and as of this moment have a report on what was found but no contact regarding repair time, cost, warranty nor likely causes. It is virtually impossible to contact someone within Grundfos outside of an area distributor [who actually has no knowledge or capability to review or service the pumps we purchased]. This is a critical application and outside of one gentleman who does answer a call we have no insight as to when the one pump will be repaired.

While I was initially frustrated trying to contact Grundfos, when I did make contact, it was because of a return call from Kelly Wessels. She sorted my problem, was courteous and respectful and explained everything very clearly. She is a gem, and I am so grateful for her kind assistance and understanding.
