The first charger wouldn’t charge, the charging light on my car was red so I wasn’t certain if it was the car or charger, moved to another charger and it started, while in the services it stopped charging, when I returned tried to start charging again, the cars charging light was red, the charger screen said there was not enough power to charge try later, moved again to one of the new 400kwh charger and it started charging again, however the maximum rate I got was 68 kWh, why have you installed more chargers when you cannot supply the power. Sonu was super friendly, quick, and brought such a positive vibe to the visit. It’s always great walking in and seeing how clean and well-organised everything is. Sonu was attentive, helpful, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and upbeat. Coffee and food were spot on as always - definitely one of my favourite stops. Highly recommend! ☕🙌

Easy charge set up , plenty of high powered chargers a lot more reliable than the old 50 kWh charger .

Chris Ward is keeping track of the queue of cars very cheerfully and efficiently, ensuring everyone is getting enough charge quickly. Very good experience at these chargers with Chris' managing the queue 👌

I arrived at the gridserve charger at Toddington Services M1 Southbound on 1st April. No instructions whatsoever to be seen.
Fortunately, there was a large phone number displayed, and a charming chap answered almost immediately. He explained I didn't need to charge using the app, which I could not access anyway. Upon arriving back at my car after a half hour, I attempted to do as the chap had instructed - just place my card on the reader and charging would stop. No, it did not, so once again I had to call, and it was stopped remotely. Apart from an amazing help line, a very unsatisfactory experience

I absolutely love the space GRIDSERVE provides with a Costa and Fresh Stop. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you to Steven and Damian who are part of the Costa team for their friendly service and helpful service . GRIDSERVE is my favourite place to come to have a good coffee and do some work and charge my car all at the same time! Great initiative and I recommend it to friends and family.

A special shoutout to Amanda, who provided outstanding service. She was friendly, welcoming, and went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. It’s not often you come across someone so genuinely helpful and positive—it really made the visit stand out. The facilities were modern, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the whole experience felt smooth and stress-free. I’ll definitely be stopping here again. Highly recommend!
