I can confirm the negative reviews. I was about to book a golf hotel in France. It was cheaper by a little than booking directly with the hotel site. However the hotel site showed no availability. So I went to the hotel and showed the online offer. They had never heard of gosplitty and do not accept bookings through them.

Booked a room via mobile phone..unfortunately I chose June 11 instead of the 14th. I immediately contacted Gosplitty and they stated my request would have to be escalated. After 3 hours they called back and said couldn’t help me.

I never write reviews, but felt I needed to this time. When I first seen the deal for hotel room I thought it was to good to be true. So I decided to look into GoSplitty because I have never heard of them and thought it was a scam. Looking at review score I was almost convinced I was right. I decided to actually read the reviews only to find out most always the reviews were negative when reservation was either trying to be cancelled or modified. I don't understand a negative review of a company when the do what they advertise they will do. They clearly state "no refunds" before you book. If you as a consumer decide to take advantage of their offer knowing that, then don't blame them when they are true to their word if you decide to try and cancel. People always wanting something for nothing. I can tell you my purchase went just as advertised. I purchased the room, I received email confirmation, and most importantly the room was ready for me when I checked in. I saved over 50% on room and almost didn't due to people not understanding how to actually review a companies performance. I would most definitely use them again when needed.

Im a Canadian who was trying to book a Canadian hotel used google.ca got a slightly cheaper hotel on Goshitty. It said prices in CA at first then i added a child to my reservation and it switched prices USD without realizing. I booked it and it charged me in USD without any indication. I saw the conversion on my bank statement and tried calling the company to fix it. BUT THIER PHONE LINE IS OUT OF SERVICE. I tried emailing 4 times they never responded back. Left me no choice but to go through my bank. But they canceled my reservation without any notice and only refunded me the difference in conversion. I was stuck at check in a cancelled reservation and the front desk and Expedia(GoSPLITTY USES THEM) both said they also could not reach anyone at this scam of a website.

Go splitter is definitely a scam. The same customer service lady, 3 consecutive times answering the call, talking about escalating team. It all B.S. These 3rd party websites got too go! They take your money then they said there’s no modification cancellation or refund this is unacceptable!!!

I booked a hotel through them. They had no power when I got to the hotel, so they cancelled my reservation without penalty. When I reached out to GoSplitty, they told me they would have someone from customer service call me in 2 hours. No one called me. I call back the morning of the next day. They took my info and told me someone would call me in 15 minutes; they even gave me the customer service number. No one called me. When I called the customer service number, it said the number was out of service. I thought I took down the number wrong, so I googled it; it was the same number I had. I called back the original number, which I had been calling for the previous few days, the number on the email they sent me. The prompts on the phone were different than they were in the morning, and that number now went to a different company called “Price… something,” and they had no record of my booking.
I thought maybe I was going crazy. I double-checked the numbers that I had with the information they sent me and the information online, and it was correct. When I called back, and the salesperson answered, I asked why this same number was going to a different company. They hung up on me. So, as of now, they took my money, and I have no way to get a hold of Gosplitty.com
Complete scam
Complete scam. We booked a hotel that had a pool because we have a six-year daughter who likes to swim. Upon arriving at the hotel, we found that the pool was under renovation and not available for at least another week. Called go splitty after arriving at hotel and tried to change reservation with them for a hotel near buy but they refused. Disputed transaction with credit card company but go splitty insists without mentionion swimming pool issue that they are in terms of contract. Buyer beware as they are false advertising knowing full well that the swimming pool has not been available for quite some time.

Im surprised how this website is still up and running! I booked a room for 7-nights in Dubai from gosplitty on march 2024.
I received a weird-look confirmation email but it was not!!
Then Called the hotel few times to verify this booking, but they couldn’t find any booking under my name!
I Emailed gosplitty support but never got any reply and the customer service phone number is not working (IVR dropped the calls)
I could dispute it from CIBC Bank credit card services and they confirmed that the dispute is valid.

I actually give gosplitty zero stars. I called to make a reservation over the phone. I told them the specific dates I wanted. They entered the dates incorrectly which made me a no-show. I requested a refund due to their mistake and they did not refund my money. They charged me for my stay anyway. I do not trust their competency or honesty. I will steer clear of gosplitty from here on out, and definitely will not recommend them to anyone. Terrible service.

I booked with this site today for the Sachas hotel in Manchester, paid £95 for 2 people for a friends birthday, spent money on travel to get there ans them say they don’t have my booking. Tried calling the company and the phone was put down/wouldn’t connect. Hotel said they couldn’t do anything about it. Have emailed and heard nothing back. Disgusting.

They take your payment,claim it's confirmation,get to hotel that disregards booking,your out money,when you call to refund,go splitty does not answer nor refund,I've had to contact local police on fraud as well my life was endangered for the night to have to sleep on sidewalk as it was too late to book anywhere else.i also had a job interview for the next day.
Absolutely avoid
I booked with them and the reservation was 'pending' for hours. I called the hotel after an hour and they had no record of the reservation, I gave up and booked a hotel elsewhere. Once checked into the new hotel and in the room, we receive an email that the reservation went through. We contacted the first hotel who knew about the situation and they canceled the reservation with no penalty. So GoSplitty did not make the reservation in a timely manner, got refunded for the reservation, but is refusing to refund our money. Absolutely avoid. Unethical business practices.

This Company is a total scam! I booked a hotel yesterday for a stay last night with one of their sales associates and they booked the wrong date because when I showed up at the hotel, they didn't have a room for me and told me my reservation was booked for August 11th (almost 3 months in the future). GoSplitty made the mistake, and now they won't issue a refund? Further, the sales agent never told me the reservation was non-refundable. You can't even get a customer service agent on the phone despite repeated requests. You have to communicate through email with them, and the responses appear canned. Stay far, far, FAR AWAY from doing business with this company. Wished I could leave them ZERO stars. I am going to report them to the BBB and the State Attorney General's office.

Scammed for nearly $100 extra
Scammed for $100 extra for two nights that I had to pay as a “resort fee” which was NOT mentioned neither in confirmation email nor during booking.
They are the worst
They are the worst. Their customer service is atrocious. We had a problem with our booking and I’ve called them 12 times and been hung up on 10 of the 12 times without even speaking to anyone. When you do manage to speak with someone, the customer service agents are so rude and couldn’t care less about helping. I’ve emailed them back-and-forth and the grammar/English in their emails doesn’t make any sense. Please, for your own sake, stay away. It is not worth it. They are completely dishonest.

Have I got a booking?
Booked yesterday using their website and fortunately printed the last page confirming price paid and booking reference, because I have not received any email confirmation from GoSplitty and when I try to retrieve my booking details on their website it tells me that the booking can't be found. Alarming! They took the £200+ payment upfront so I'm now in the position of not knowing if I have a booking but am down £200+. Definitely won't use them again and wish I had read the many other poor reviews earlier. I used them because they appeared through Google Maps (so implicitly trusted what Google was showing) when I did a search for hotels in Madrid and GoSplitty was a little cheaper than the other online holiday platforms.
