What a shoddy company that lets their Promotions team deal with billing issues and refuse to even call you to deal with the situaiton

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Tech support is a joke. I’ve been international for over 2 weeks without WiFi They claim it’s been restored but mine hasn’t. I spend day after day on the phone with them. It’s a complete joke. And the best part is, they are willing to compensate me a whopping $10 for my lack of usage and time I’ve spent on the phone with them while I’ve been on vacation.

I wanted to cancel after going through the process to find out the phone I wanted to use was locked and couldn't. No problem, I request the customer service rep cancel my plan while I had him on the phone. He asked for information which had nothing to do with me canceling the plan if he was paying attention. Rather than repeat myself I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor which is when he begin to over talk me while going through his spill reps normally do before handing up on me. like really....NP i'm glad you gave me an insight on how you treat your customers. this is the last draw for me with Google. I will never use anything again unless I already own it by google. Once what I have exhausted its life span i'll move on while I chuckle to myself and the corny rep who lost you a customer and a for life "Hype Man"(sharing my experience) on whoever I hear plans on using your products within my vicinity.

They are theives and they know it.

They suspend my data while traveling internationally 2 billing cycles ago, however SOMEHOW I used data after that happened. That's news to me. My phone has been a lemon since my data was suspended so I have no idea how I used data.

Yet they still bill me for this ghost data.

Customer service is useless, patronizing me and telling me not to be angry about them stealing my money, when I ask them "Wouldn't you be pissed?".

I used to love Google Fi but now I cannot wait for them to go out of business and a class action lawsuit be added to the pile of this scum business.

Stay away from them. I used to reccomend them, but now I can't stop reccomending people not to use them.

horrible, but horrible customer care. I can't stress it enough. As long as there are no issues things work ok. The minute you need to talk to someone it's impossible. AVOID

I've been using Google-fi for five or six years now. I couldn't be happier. The rate at which I pay is slightly lower than what I'd pay at other places, and the ability to be able to deal with anything that comes up online, is, to me, a total blessing. Every time I've had a cracked screen, or went to update my phone, the process havs been incredibly smooth. Support is always a joy to talk to. As I've been with them a while, the deals I get make staying with well worth the while. The service is comparable to, or better than anyone else I've had with me that had a different carrier. Too, when things go wrong, instead of offloading the burden of having payed for services no longer available, they simply pay me that back, I don't need to ask, they just do the right thing without hesitation.

Bad Service from Google Fi:
I recently switched from AT&T to Google Fi. With AT&T, I used an average of 6 GB per month. Within a day, Google Fi is says that I used 1.73 GB! I’m on my Wifi (different service) the majority of the time. I called the Customer service and they said their data is correct, 1.73GB in one and a half days. Then she hung up on me! Over charging and terrible Customer Service!

Spent a week in major cities in China and connectivity was really, really bad. Hard to find signal, never at 5g, usually LTE, sometimes e. Reminded me of mobile phones back in the early aughts. And,call customer support and they wouldn't give me a credit or offer any sort of comp.

Use Google fi in Canada, usa, mexico regularly and works fine. And worked in Germany while in transit.

Unable to use the service, still getting charged for opening the account. Customer service not helping.

In Canada a couple years back the phone couldn't connect to towers. Fast forward to last week in Germany and my data plan was always LTE or better. I only used signal/telegram for calls so I have no idea if the phone was also working. I was expecting the worst -- this review was revised from a 1 star.

If I could give a negative 1 star I would. Never had this problem before. In Europe Italy to be exact. Cannot not hook up with any 5g. Only time my phone works is in the hotel with their wi fi. Totally unacceptable. When I get home will be looking for a new provider. I reached out to customer support ABSOLUTELY no help at all.

Not a viable service for people making 90 day trips to the Schengen Region. My data service was suspended mid-trip despite the fact that I'm in the US more than Europe, both in general and prior to this trip specifically. I was able to bridge the gap using HolaFly. I will be canceling Google Fi and replacing it with a combination of Mint Mobile and HolaFly.

Terrible service that goes in and out as you cross the country.

Google Fi has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. I just saw a coworker of mine on the phone with them for a couple hours. They had her restart her phone multiple times and then they had her do a factory reset. They didn’t make sure any of her information was backed up and she lost everything on her phone and it is now unusable. Then they hung up on her.
They are still trying to make her pay for the remaining time on her plan.

just WOW! so i started up with FI at the end of march! thinking i was good.. NOPE! WRONG! Find out my service is off because i didnt pay two weeks after i started services. So talked with customer service they said i owed already. They say it says in the finer print that payment is due with in two weeks after service starts. When I started with FI, I did the credit check it said I owed NOTHING! at the start of service to find out later that i owe two weeks after I started what is this BS! atleast the other blood sucking carriers tell you at he start that you owe and if you dont, you just pay after the end of your service month which is FAIR! Seriously Just dont waist your time with FI try to stick it out with your carrier! unless the service is that bad that you half to leave! FI is just a big headach that you are asking for if you move to them! i even moved my number to them! I am not staying that is for sure..

I expected to pay $500 for an upgrade. I've since paid an additional $1300 for no reason that I can figure out on my own and no one to talk to. Don't go with Google Fi. If you're going with a big guy go with ATT or Verizon or any store that has brick and mortars. If not go with a budget provider. Google Fi is not the solution only a bigger problem. Stay far far away.

It took me over four months to close my account. Despite reporting them to the FCC, they still retaliated against me. Their customer service was poor, and their phone service was expensive. They were unresponsive to both phone calls and emails. It was a nightmare; they deliberately delayed closing my account to accrue additional charges. To make matters worse, they falsely reported me to credit bureaus for non-payment of a deficit balance they themselves created. I strongly advise avoiding them; they consistently overcharge for mediocre service.

Google Fi Wireless is a nightmare! Hidden fees, bad useless service, MORE charges for nothing! NOT recommended at all! Don't waste your money!!! We canceled their service after a month and went back to our old Crickets. Just because Google has a big name it does not means they are good service/business! Please Don't waste your money!!!
