Definitely the worst delivery company…
Definitely the worst delivery company I've experienced. Package was delivered 4 days after the "latest date" advised by the item's tracking. Also, there were two consecutive days where the package was loaded onto a delivery van - the first day, nothing happened and it was returned to the depot. I can't leave packages outside, so I need to be home when the delivery occurs. GLS's approach seems to be that I'd just be home waiting for them, with nothing else to be doing with my time.

Absolutely the worst experience I have had with a transport company. I bought an item which was being returned to Spain. It was brought to the collection point in Artane in Dublin where it sat for over a week without being collected. Phone calls were made and promises of collection received. Emails and posted letters of complaint went unanswered.

Repeated failure
They claim to have tried to deliver the package twice, they didnt. Now im being told by the vendor to schedule a new delivery, which GLS does not allot me to do.
They responded to this review asking me to contact their support, but their support never responded.
That tells you everything, they care about their image, not their service.

Very very poor waiting for a package for 3 days was supposed to arrive monday no show got a new emaul for delivery on tuesday again no show.got anorher updated email for delivery wed i rang gls they said it would be with me in an hour guess what no show. Terrible service. The courier lied for two days in a row, claiming no one was home, so he didn't deliver, even though I was home and waiting. But it's not that important; all companies always leave packages at the front door near the mailboxes; there's no need to waste time waiting. And again I’m here to write another bad review. This company is horrible. I’ve had a package with them and for 2 days now it has said out for delivery and I’ve waited around for nothing to come. Rang them today to be told that the post person finished his shift early yesterday and did not deliver but said it was out again today. It’s not 7pm and it’s still not here.

Absolutely dreadful service
Absolutely dreadful service. Parcel has been sitting in delivery centre for four days. "Customer service" representative on phone completely not interested in the fact that they are unable to do their ONE JOB of delivering parcels. "You're not the only one that uses our service" well you don't seem to be providing a service at all.
EDIT: Another day, still no sign of my parcel
EDIT: now Saturday. Parcel still held by GLS since Monday. No updates
