Hi there,

I’m so sorry you’ve had to keep chasing this, especially after we’d already promised to reimburse your return postage. Having items arrive broken and being disappointed with the quality was enough to deal with, and we’re really sorry that getting your return sorted has made the experience even more frustrating.

You should never have had to spend hours going back and forth to get that payment back. Whatever the difficulties with our return labels, we needed to follow through on what we’d agreed with you. We can’t apologise enough for leaving you out of pocket and having to chase us.

I’m also sorry our replies have come across as insincere. I can understand why you’d feel that way when you’ve spent so much time exchanging messages and the reimbursement still hasn’t been sorted.

I’d really like to pick this up personally and make this right for you. When you have a moment, could you please email support@glamrdip.com with your order number and “FAO Patricia” in the subject line? I’m sorry to ask you to send another message. I’ll look through the existing correspondence so you don’t have to explain everything again.

I’ll personally follow through on the return postage reimbursement you were promised, check that your product refund has been fully dealt with, and confirm everything with you once it’s sorted.

We’re really sorry we’ve let you down here. I’d appreciate the opportunity to make this right by you and give you the help you should have received when you first reached out 💜

We are terribly heartbroken reading this! I’m genuinely so sorry to read what you experienced. I can completely understand why an episode involving difficulty breathing would have been frightening, particularly when you’ve used professional nail products for many years without experiencing anything like this 💔

I also want to reassure you that we would never minimise any reaction or dismiss what you experienced simply because other customers use our products without issue. Every person can respond differently to cosmetic ingredients, fragrances and vapours, and unfortunately, a product that is used without trouble by the overwhelming majority of people may still not be suitable for a particular individual.

Our products are developed specifically for cosmetic use and undergo formulation, safety and compliance assessment as part of our product development process. We also work with an independent cosmetics regulatory partner to ensure our formulations and supporting documentation meet the applicable cosmetic requirements. Our range is also used by hundreds of thousands of customers around the world, many of whom have been using GLAMRDiP successfully for years. You can also check out our All Things GLAMRDiP Facebook group, with over 82,000 members sharing their mani wins, tips and tricks every day.

We include Important Product Information Booklets with every order, with specific guidance for our Base and Glow liquids on pages 4 and 6. That said, your feedback about clearer reminders on the packaging is something we genuinely appreciate, and it is something we can take back to our team as we continue reviewing how we communicate important product information.

For your own wellbeing, if you are still experiencing any breathing difficulty or other ongoing symptoms, we highly recommend checking with a healthcare professional.

I’ve also asked our team to arrange a full refund for your orders, no questions asked. We know that a refund cannot undo what happened, but we hope it demonstrates that we are far more interested in looking after you than in defending a sale.

While we do have our Low-Odour Liquids, which were developed to offer a more comfortable application experience for customers who are sensitive to stronger smells and vapours, we completely understand if you no longer feel comfortable using our liquid system. We also have our Instant Gels™, a completely different application format that requires no lamp, but there is absolutely no expectation for you to try anything further. Your comfort and wellbeing come first.

Malynda, we’re incredibly sorry that what should have been a simple at-home manicure became such a frightening experience for you. We have enormous confidence in the products we create and the safety and compliance processes behind them, and we’re incredibly grateful for the hundreds of thousands of customers who trust GLAMRDiP in their homes every day.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. We completely understand that after your initial experience, you may have decided that the feel and finish aren’t what you personally enjoy wearing, and we really appreciate you being honest with us about that.

We’re sorry to hear that the finish hasn’t been enjoyable for you. The little cracks you’ve noticed after 3–5 days, along with the thickness and overall look, are certainly things we can absolutely help with. Sometimes those things can come down to how much product is being applied or the application and finishing technique, particularly when you're still getting used to a new system. Just like anything new, there can be a bit of a learning curve at first, and with a few more applications, muscle memory really does start to kick in and the process becomes much quicker and more natural.

Our mission has always been to develop a cost-effective and healthier alternative to traditional gels and other harsher systems, something that gives people beautiful, long-lasting nails at home without the expense, commitment and hassle of booking regular salon appointments. We’ve had so many busy professionals, parents and people wanting more freedom with their nails become part of our community for exactly that reason.

And this is also why we place such enormous importance on the removal stage. For us, removal is the hinge on which the whole nail-health experience turns. We spent years developing, and continue to improve, our own Remove Solution and Remove Bowl because we never wanted customers to be left with difficult removal.

Our Remove Solution is designed to break down the layers while being buffered with coconut oil, Vitamin E, calcium and keratin to make the process gentler on the nails, skin and cuticles. When paired with our ergonomic Remove Bowl and used as directed, the removal process can be brought down to around 15 minutes.

We also have a wonderful Facebook community of more than 82,000 GLAMRDiP members, and it’s honestly one of the things we’re most proud of. Thousands of customers share their salon-perfect sets, application tips, troubleshooting advice and little tricks they’ve picked up along the way. If you ever feel like giving GLAMRDiP another chance, it can be such a lovely resource for seeing how other people apply their sets, particularly when you’re trying to achieve a thinner, more natural-looking finish.

And if the dipping system itself is simply not the right fit for you, we’ve also recently introduced our Instant Gels™ as an alternative. They can be applied in around 15 minutes or less, require no lamps too, and are designed to last 2–3 weeks. They take a lot of the learning curve out of doing your nails and may be a better option if you’re looking for something quick.

But ultimately, Art, we also understand that sometimes a product just isn't for you, and that’s okay. We don't want you to feel like you have to keep trying something you're not enjoying just because you've already invested in it.
