Installed a week after I canceled service

I signed up for Google Fiber after representatives came through my neighborhood. I explained that I was a renter and would need approval from the property manager before installation and to verify my current contract. My appointment was scheduled for November 30, which would have given me time to consider the switch and get permission.

I decided against switching and canceled the very next day. Despite that, I returned from being out of town this weekend to find a line installed through the yard and equipment attached to the side of the house.

The grass will likely recover, but that isn’t the point. This is a rental property, and I now have to explain an installation that happened after I canceled and without the property manager’s approval.

I need someone to explain why the work went ahead and coordinate with me on whatever removal or repairs the property manager requests.

Excellent customer service & wonderful speedy internet. The team at Gfiber are extremely responsive. We renovated our unit and needed help reconnecting to the WiFi provided by the building. Literally within 2 hours a technician was at our house and internet was up on a running at record speed. Super helpful, clear communciationa and extremely fast staff & WiFi.

While I had gFiber, it was great. I moved and tried to cancel because my new location did not have fiber. I cancelled and still got billed. I called and they said I'd get a refund in 5 days. No refund. I've called again, three weeks later. The service agent said the cancellation was still in progress! I was then put on hold for 10 minutes while they "research" the issue. Turns out I have to wait for the next billing cycle to get my refund.

I signed up for Google Fiber as soon as I moved in, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. I work from home, so having fast, reliable WiFi is essential, and it’s been brilliant from day one. Amazing service, great people, and a lovely way to start the weekend!

Service itself was good. I moved, and now I can't return my equipment because some braindead executive made the only possible way to return the equipment to take it to a fedex store. I don't live near a fedex store. And the ywant to charge me more than this crap equipment is worth.

Terrible support Very difficult to actually speak to a LIVE person. The AI didn’t understand me on multiple occasions and there’s no alternative way to say “yes or no”, like enter “1 for yes and 2 for no”!
Then, they gave a 24 hr window for the technician with no notice of arrival. That’s worse than Spectrum!!!
Now, it’s 18 hrs later, and we call, finally speak to someone, it gets escalated and they tell us it was resolved. NO! IT HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED!!!!!
Awful but now we’re stuck.

Cannot get through to anyone even through the chat bot which constantly times out because nobody has hours to spend having a tiny chat box open

Gfiber was down and that is fine, it happens. So I drove an hour to the closest place to me where I could work on secured internet. As soon as I got to the new spot I received a text that my internet was back on. So I drove an hour all the way back home just to realize my internet was not back on. When I asked them why that happened, they replied that other peoples internet was back on.. but MY SERVICE WAS STILL OFF. Why would they not work that out per customer instead of “customers in your area”?

Had service and attempted to add additional service at another house I own. Was told I couldn't have service at multiple properties. Attempted to transfer service and was told it would be two weeks, then three weeks, then a month. Decided to cancel but they continued to bill me regardless of the cancellation. Just received yet another bill and am in my 5th + chat with their team attempting to resolve. They are completely unorganized

Terrible Customer Service. Steps I took at there request took me away from the chat and they ended the chat without helping me.
Additionally I pay for 3g an upgrade from the 1 gig. And it is worse than before. Gfiber does NOT deliver on what you pay for. Can't even stream a video without lag. Would not recommend!
