Wow what happened this new format who wants that the old one was perfect I got what I wanted when I wanted it. now limited to 10 stations. Map is also horrible I have nothing good to say about it sorry hope the old format comes back. This is costing me money end gassing where I don't get the better deal. Hope this don't fall on deaf ears.

The new format is just HORRIBLE. I cannot find any of the remnants of the old format. The new one is entirely unuseable. I had all my stations and brands listed out and saved the formats I wanted to look at. Some of the days I would look at a brand I wanted to check. Other days I wanted to check by location, all pre saved and prices listed in order by least expensive to most expensive with the average price of gas that day in the general area. I've already deleted gas buddies from my saved favorites. I hope others tell Gas Buddies they made a Major mistake.

Gas Buddy recently changed its website by taking away a drop down menu which previosuly allowed me to chart gas prices in the larger metro area in Columbus, Ohio and do so by brand name so that I could use my Kroger fuel points at Kroger, Shell or Turkey Hill gas stations. They have taken away the drop down menu and it makes it almost impossible to use the website as efficiently as before. When I contacted them they blew me off. They do not care one way or the other. Probably some hot shot computer wiz wanting to show off skills on a website without knowing how it would affect everyday users.

Gas Buddy's new system (displaying just 10 "cheapest stations" in an area is abhorrent!!! I drive for Uber and utilized Gas Buddy to see where cheaper Gas was. I then could determine where I'd get gas and then begin my Uber'ing day from there. It didn't take long and that meant more time being available for rides = more rides = more $.
For those not Uber'ing, the new system robs them of readily seeing where cheap gas on their commute might be. For travelers through an area it robs them of info about where cheap gas can be located on their route.
All in all, the new system FAILS THE TRAVELING PUBLIC IN SOOOOO MANY WAYS it's not worth the effort to attempt to use. I would recommend completely avoiding it's use!!!!

I used to love gas buddy. I drove to a different gas station than I was going to and the gas was 80¢ more than what was posted (40¢ "less" than the other station). I have never signed in to change the price before, but I was not happy about how different the price was since it had been updated only 1 hour ago. Gas buddy WILL NOT post the price change. I'm guessing they don't believe me because the previous poster has been a member for almost 10 years and I created an account today to report the price. Normally I just used it to see the prices, but I wanted to update it so bad that I created an account.

Not sure what happened to this app. It used to be right on, however, the last year or so it is useless! Waste of time as the prices listed on the app are always incorrect! Very frustrating when your looking to save. What ever your changed, change it back. If it's not broken don't fix it! I'm going to try and find a different app.

ARCO; AS 3.62 PER GALLON>> WHICH AS YOUR REVIEWS PROVE IS COMPLETELY FALSE!! THIS ARCO LISTS NO PRICES ON PUMPS --- CHARGES 6.89 A GALLON! IF USERS OF APP COULD HELP CHANGE WOULD CHANGE PRICE AND PREVENT THEFT!

Believe the reviews. Prices at the station you choose are always wrong and often $.50 - $.60 higher. Don’t waste your time. Scam. Then you get notification that you won a gift card. Scam as well. Your “gift card” is savings on a higher priced subscription or item. Then when you decide to leave, you have to jump through several hoops to do so.

I used the app to get my station price. When I got to the station the price was way more than the the app showed. I bought gas anyway. Updated the gas prices on the app for the station. The update has not been posted. This is not a dependable app. Don't depend on this app to provide up to date pricing.

I read the reviews here and now have a negative opinion of Gas Buddy as well.

I have had multiple occasions with the Gas Buddy app that the gas prices are so far off and not to benefit the consumer!! It’s absolutely ridiculous that if you have an app that is supposed to help the consumer save money that you don’t monitor the gas prices better, it is absolutely no saving when you drive out of your way to get the cheap gas price that was advertised only to find out that the price is NOT even close!! Gas Buddy NEEDS to develop a better system for reporting gas prices to the consumer, the current system is NOT working!!!

When I got to the service station, the price was up by more than 15 cents over what have been "reported" that morning. This is a common occurrence. I am tired of going from gas station to gas station to find one that has the advertised price. I don't mind verifying prices, but you can't save money driving all over the place to find one that is accurate. I have noticed that some specific gas stations are ALWAYS way over what they advertise on Gasbuddy. It is not a helpful app at all, in my opinion.

In Oregon it has been illegal for a customer to pump their own gas until this year, 2024. In 2023 it was not allowed, so every purchase would require handing your Gas Buddy Driver Card, along with the Driver Number to a station attendant. In doing so, my GB Card info was stolen along with the Driver Number. This resulted in several unauthorized charges to my linked bank card for fuel fill-ups done by someone who is probably a station attendant and who scanned my card to use for their own fuel purchases. I reported these unauthorized fuel purchases, at locations I have never been to, and the response I got from Gas Buddy was to blame me for showing/sharing my GB Card info, even though the ONLY way to use it in Oregon is to provide it to an attendant!!! Gas Buddy is refusing to reimburse me for these unauthorized fuel purchases. When I went online to my GB account to remove my linked bank card, there is no method to do this!?! You can only replace a bank card, not delete it! As a result, my bank card info is still associated with my GB account! Yet they refuse to assume any responsibility for the stolen information and for the unauthorized purchases. 5 total fuel purchases in November alone! I RECOMMEND THAT ALL OF YOU THINK VERY CAREFULLY ABOUT USING GAS BUDDY - THEIR SYSTEM SECURITY IS NOT AS GOOD AS THEY WANT YOU TO THINK IT IS, AND THEIR WILLINGNESS TO RESOLVE A SECURITY BREACH ALLOWING THE STOLEN GB CARD INFO IS NON-EXISTENT!

They took $29.95 out of my account w/in one day of signing up. I trusted them because they were on Grub Hub for the drivers so I thought they were legit & nope they are a Rip-Off.

I submitted a bug report 2 weeks ago and still NO REPLIES. The app does NOT allow me to enter gas price at our local gas stop (3.1 miles away). I tried a dozen times over several days (yes, I clicked CONFIRM each time). So, what is the purpose of GasBuddy?

I, like others, experience much less than accurate pricing of gas. Just today did a search and activated a $3.07 p/gal QUOTE. go there for a $53 fill up for 16gals. My net price comes back from GB as savings of $2.40. Ok great only the exact price p/g equates to $3.149, that's 8ct more than quoted.

Prices listed on GasBuddy often used to be out of date and lower than what I found at the pump. Lately, I've noticed that when I try to submit the correct price, GasBuddy argues with me ("This price seems high") and does not update the incorrect prices -- I suspect that GasBuddy is colluding with stations to drive business to them with false price reports, but what I'm certain of is that I cannot rely on the prices GasBuddy reports regardless of how recently they are supposed to have been submitted. It's not worth deviating from my intended route to get a lower price -- every time I do so, I find the price at the pump is much higher than claimed.
