Clare was absolutely brilliant in arranging our trip. We told her some places we wanted to go and she then suggested various others. She asked if that sounded ok. It was a holiday of a lifetime. Zimbabwe and Botswana. Everything went smoothly from long flight, small planes, 5 different lodges and the special foods as we were vegetarian. Everything was taken care of.
We were met at the airport by their associate company in Botswana who helped us through check in.
Each lodge that she chose were incredible from the rooms, beds, facilities and staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We felt like royalty throughout our wonderful holiday.
Before we went we had emails and phone calls checking that we had everything in order, Paperwork, insurance etc. We had assurance that if we needed any advice or hep they gave us an emergency number.

Gane and Marshall arranged our Safari trip to Botswana. Communications from beginning to end have been superb. All questions were answered without delay and super advice and guidance given as we were novices to safari. All arrangements were seamless and faultless and we had helpful, friendly service in all locations and on all transfers. All three locations gave us THE best experience of a first visit to Botswana. Accommodation at each camp was excellent and the guides were all keen and passionate about sharing their knowledge and skills. Thank you, we will be booking with you again in the future.

We loved Iceland. It was a glorious trip made much easier by the fact that Mike had made all the necessary reservations for us and had included excellent suggestions for how we might want to spend our days. I would use Gane and Marshall for another trip in a heartbeat.

We have now travelled with Gane and Marshall three times- to Namibia, Sri Lanka and Costa Rica, and every single trip has been exceptional.

Our trips to Namibia and Costa Rica in particular were some of the best holidays we have ever had. The experiences they created for us were unforgettable, the perfect balance of adventure, beautiful places and thoughtful details that made the whole journey feel effortless.

We originally worked with Sarah (who has now retired) and more recently with Mike for our latest trip, and both were wonderful to work with, incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful and responsive throughout the process.

Clare organised our Safari to Kenya. This was our first Safari. She suggested Kenya as a first Safari. We could not have been more delighted with our trip. It exceeded our expectations.
The Kicheche camps were excellent, fantastic tents, excellent food. And 5 star service from all the kind staff.
The guides were very experienced, we saw the big 5 and much much more.
Our itinerary was carefully planned by Clare, and everything went to plan with no concerns at all.
We felt supported by Clare and the ground staff in Kenya.

This was our 2nd trip to Kilimanjaro planned by Gane and Marshall. Very well-organized, great communication and responsiveness throughout made this a trip of a lifetime!
When our flights were unexpectedly cancelled by our carrier, Mike worked very quickly to rebook our hotels to match the new flights.
We had requested some additional amenities to ensure a smooth climb and Gane and Marshall took care of every single one of them.

Clare, and Michael put together an extraordinary Kenya Safari trip for our 20 year wedding anniversary. Everything exceeded our expectations from the accommodations, the game viewing, and the food. All of our connections were seamless. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Africa. We saw elephants, giraffe, lions, hippos, wildebeest , and the list goes on and on. Mike went out of his way to create a tailored trip to Japan for us as a family of 4 . He organised all the numerous train tickets in advance, making sure we had the most cost effective option for travelling between cities. All of his recommendations were perfect for us, and the local guides exceptional. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and stress free holiday.

My husband and I recently returned from an incredible trip to Tanzania, meticulously planned by Mike and Clare at Gane & Marshall. We were very impressed by the seamless organization and expert execution of our safari and beach holiday. Every detail was handled, allowing us to relax and enjoy every minute.

The safari portion of our trip was unbelievable. The Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti lived up to the hype, and Tarangire National Park was a particular highlight for my elephant-obsessed husband. Our guide, John, was exceptional. His extensive knowledge of wildlife and Tanzanian culture enriched every game drive, making it better than any documentary. Thanks to him, we saw all of the "Big Five" and countless other incredible animals. He even patiently indulged my love for warthogs, zebras, and giraffes!

Our accommodations were perfect, and I don’t think the photos online did any of them justice.
The highlight of our beach stay was undoubtedly Pongwe. This hotel is just perfect. The staff were brilliant, especially in accommodating my allergies. We celebrated our anniversary there with a couples package, and the private pool room was one of the nicest we've ever experienced. I can’t thank Clare enough for suggesting this hotel as it perfectly matched the experience we wanted and beats the busy resorts other travel agents had suggested to us hands down.

From start to finish, Gane & Marshall provided a seamless travel experience. Their quick responses to every question I had and their reassurance when we had to do a last-minute flight change showed their exceptional customer service.

I wholeheartedly recommend Gane & Marshall to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania. We've definitely caught the safari bug and if we’re lucky enough to explore another country on safari, I wouldn’t use any other company.

At quite short notice Clare put together a two week trip for me in Malawi which had to fit around other plans whilst in country. I was travelling on my own on this occasion and I was so reassured by Clare's excellent communication and pre-trip information. The on ground experience also more than met my expectations. My friend and I recently climbed Kilimanjaro followed by a safari in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. The quality of planning by Mike and Jeremy was first rate (I used them in 2004 and had a similarly incredible experience then), and included a personal briefing as well as answering our many questions about the mountain. We were choosing a bespoke route and we were always hugely impressed by their knowledge of the mountain. I would love to climb Kilimanjaro again someday and if I do I'm not sure I would even think of another provider. All round another fabulous adventure with real Tanzania experts.

My friend and I used Gane and Marshall to plan and organise a trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro, followed by a safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater reserve. We successfully reached the summit, via the lesser used and quieter Northern Circuit. The guidance provided by Jeremy and Mike ahead of the trip was invaluable, covering detailed and vital kit advice, and a call to forewarn us of key practicalities we’d face on the mountain. The local trekking support they organised was first class, and proved key to reaching our goal of summitting the mountain. A prudent approach was taken, including a necessary route change based on the wintry conditions we ultimately found on Kili.

We rolled from that seamlessly into the safari leg - first rate and knowledgeable driver, and great accommodations throughout.

Would always use for similar future ventures.

We have just returned from Tanzania, our holiday arranged by G&M. It was a really lovely, memorable trip.
The grandchildren in particular were ‘blown away’ by the safari experience.
Everything was organised so the whole trip was seamless, hotels transfers even local flights. We could not have asked for more Thank you Clare and Mike.

This was the ninth time I have used Gane & Marshall and it won't be the last. Having been looked after by Clare in the past, Mike took over the reins this time and an excellent job he did. The planning and execution were seamless. The recommended camps exceeded all my expectations. Every aspect of the trip was faultless. I'm looking forward to arranging the tenth trip!

We’ve just returned from our seventh trip organised by Gane and Marshall and it won’t be our last.

Once again the itinerary suggested perfectly fitted our requirements and the in-country arrangements all worked out flawlessly.

Gane and Marshall have planned trips for us to British Columbia, Oman and Kenya (several times) they’ve dealt with reorganising our trip when a camp burned down the week before our visit, last minute itinerary changes, and flight cancellations always efficiently and with good humour.

When we start planning our next trip then G&M will be the first, and probably only, number we call.

Mike arranged us a fantastic honeymoon to do safari on mainland Tanzania and then travel to the beaches of Zanzibar. The safari experience was amazing and the trip to Zanzibar incredibly relaxing in an amazing lodge/hotel.
It was all perfectly organised and couldn't have asked for a better trip. Highly recommend.

It was the first safari that myself and partner had ever been on ,and it was fantastic 👏 we were with 8 other people, of veering ages and they were all friendly. We saw some unbelievable sites of wildlife, and all the accommodation was superb

We had an amazing time in Tanzania, booked through Gane and Marshall! We were there for two weeks in total, a family of five. We spent most of the time on safari in the north and then a few idyllic days on Mafia island. Mike and the team were fantastic all the way through, from determining the itinerary (providing a number of options according to cost and geography); adapting rapidly when we were let down by one of the lodges and had to rebook a couple of nights; and responding quickly to our questions (and crises) during the trip. Thank you Gane and Marshall for creating the holiday of a lifetime!

A multi-generational group of eleven might have given Clare something of a challenge, but not a bit of it. She and the team arranged an amazing safari itinerary to Kenya where we were supported from touchdown to departure.

We would have struggled to put together such a journey ourselves but we were given choices and advice which made the planning easy and enjoyable. Even when one of the camps was washed away in March other solutions were found and our trip was not affected in the least.

One of the team was always available and the help sheets and phone calls were invaluable.

Our entire party had the experience of a lifetime and memories were certainly made.

Gane and Marshall did not disappoint, having used them several times before it was a no brainer when looking to book a safari in Botswana.
Having researched where I wanted to go, Mike was very patient with all my requests and changes and came up with an itinerary that was perfect.
We had a few issues along the way all outside of our control (the worldwide IT failure and a fire at a camp which meant we were moved to a different camp)!
But Mike and Gane and Marshall's ground handlers Safari Destinations resolved these seamlessly for us which meant our safari was up to our expectations.
Good camps, good food, good guides, good game viewing, what more can one say.
Would definitely recommend the company.
