I sold my apple watch 8. Obviously the condition was poor so I selected poor, but they then downgraded the value. Now it has nearly a week of them receiving the watch but I still haven`t got paid.
No responses on call or emails.

Very poor service
I sent my Apple Watch to this company they said it was still locked to iCloud which it wasn’t as I reset it they have said the same thing on 3 occasions so they told me that they will have to return it to me yet they have had my watch for 2 weeks waste of time I won’t be selling to them ever again

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re really sorry to hear you felt the need to leave us a 1-star review, as we do our very best to make the process as smooth as possible for all our customers.
In this case, the situation was unfortunately outside of our control. The device you sent in was still linked to an iCloud account, which prevented us from being able to fully test it. We retested the device three separate times following your assurances that the lock had been removed, but on each occasion the account remained active. At that point, we felt it was in your best interest for us to return the device to you free of charge.
Had the iCloud lock been removed prior to sending, we would have been able to process the transaction in our usual quick timeframe. As you’ll know, iCloud locks render a device unusable and cannot be overlooked. Once you receive the watch back, you’ll be able to see this for yourself, and we hope you may reconsider your review at that stage.

Great price, terrible servie
Price quoted was great and I recieved the amount quoted.
Item was pristine with all original box and packaging, so no reason to downvalue.
Money paid in just over 1 week from posting.
Absolutely no communication, no confirmation my item had been recieved, no replies to emails and impossible to reach on the phone.

Scam Company. Do not use.
Seems they have form for lying and making up things.
Sent me pictures of damage and dirt on my console (unlucky for them I had photos of when I sent it, they will reduce price and say it's due to condition of the item, yet my pictures prove it was in great condition.
Very unprofessional and they clearly have form of scamming people and damaging items.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Reporting to trading standards.
Read and laugh at their reply....crying because I know my consumer rights and didn't "threaten" legal action or to involve Trading standards, it was a PROMISE. And a promise I have absolutely done. They are now involved.
Your lies and your attitude have brought this upon your very dodgy company, and judging by some of the other reviews left you have a back round of ripping customers off and telling lies. This is clear for all to see.
So keep crying your tears of victimhood, I'll see you in court xx

From the moment your device arrived, our team received an unusual volume of demanding emails from you, insisting on immediate payment, despite our clearly stated processing window of up to 48 hours. When a revised offer was made due to the condition of the device (which contained a significant build-up of internal dust and dirt), Whilst you initially accepted our revised offer, your communication escalated sharply.
You repeatedly issued threats of legal action, stated we owed you money under a “contract,” and gave ultimatums to pay by a deadline of your choosing. You also mentioned Trading Standards and made promises to leave damaging reviews and pursue compensation, even before the matter had been resolved.
While we are always open to resolving concerns professionally, your approach quickly became hostile and unreasonable. We made the decision to cancel the transaction and return your device at no cost, which we believe was the fairest outcome under the circumstances.
At Gadget GoGo, we pride ourselves on treating all customers with respect and expect the same in return. We stand by the professionalism of our team and how your order was handled from start to finish.

Watch Downgraded Unfairly
Update after receiving my watch back:
I sent my Apple Watch Series 8, quoted at £135.90 in excellent condition. Gadget GoGo cut the offer to £81.54, claiming heavy scratches that I am certain were not there when I sent it.
They refused to provide photos showing the serial number alongside the scratches, and the photo they did share had all metadata removed so there was no date/time or device information. This means there was no proof the image was of my watch.
I have now received my watch back and taken detailed photographs of the condition. I cannot replicate the scratches shown in their original photos, which strongly suggests their images were either edited or not of my device at all.
I’ve escalated this to Citizens Advice for referral to Trading Standards, as I believe this reflects a wider pattern. I’ve since seen many reviews reporting the same experience.
