Great customer service and communication

Its been a nightmare dealing with this company and trying to have my new purchase delivered.

Constant emails and calls for the last 3 weeks chasing missing boxes that have never been shipped.

Poor customer service to the point that I have asked for a refund

I was loling forward to adding to my studio set up but seems like it's take my money and delivery nothing

The Hyper Pro is one of the most flexible and heavily used products in my home gym. About a year after purchasing it, one of the knobs stopped working properly. I contacted customer support and they were very responsive and sent a replacement part (for free) very quickly, which gives me a lot of confidence in buying from them.

I love my machine and use it regularly. One of the welds had a defect and when I reached out to the FA Support team, they promptly responded and came to a positive resolution to help me. Really appreciated the swift response, communication, and ability to a quick resolution so I can get back to my exercises!

I ordered a Hyper Pro in March of 2026. At the time of ordering, the website displayed a "ships by" date of mid April 2026, which was about a month away. As that date approached, I reached out to Freak Athlete customer support for a status update and was assured that the package(s) would ship on time.

That date came and went. After a bunch of back and forth with customer service, I finally got some form of tangible progress in early May, when FA refunded me $50 and indicated my order had actually shipped.

Unfortunately, Freak Athlete uses a fly by night shipping platform, Tusk, to handle their deliveries. For the last week, I've been stuck in limbo where my order shows as shipped by FA, but the Tusk platform has no useful information and no way to contact support. To make it worse, the platform will show events/status updates and later remove them, so you have no idea what's actually happening with the order. After digging around and finding a working support contact, I contacted Tusk last week about the platform issues and got no response.

Today, I finally heard back via email, and Tusk ignored my questions but indicated that my order was out for delivery. Hurrah! I moved around evening plans to make sure I could receive the packages (it is pouring rain). Well, that communication was incorrect. I did not receive anything today, and now the Tusk website no longer even shows that my order was on a truck (they just removed the "out for delivery" events entirely).

So, it's several weeks past when I was supposed to get the Hyper Pro, months since I ordered, and I'm still out the better part of $1,000 with no product. Your mileage may vary, but my purchase experience has not been one I'd repeat.

I ordered the ABX and it has been an amazing addition to my home gym. The versatility is incredible and would absolutely recommend.
Shipping was incredibly quick, and with the minor damage that was there Tim was very quick to remedy the solution above and beyond expectations.

Freak Athlete refunded my cable attachment and sent me an upper body kit in the most satisfying way. They emailed me a shipping label so that I didn't have to pay for the return shipping. Then they refunded my credit card for the cable attachment and used part of the refund to pay for the upper body kit which they sent to me without any shipping charges on my end. All I had to do was email Freak Athlete and tell them that I wanted the upper body kit instead of the cable attachment, and they took care of everything else. They were really informative and kept up really good communication throughout the entire process.

I sent a couple of questions to Freak Athlete before spending £500 for two kettlebells, including postage. Andy got back to me within the hour, filled in all the blanks and told me they were available to help when it came to ordering, whenever that was. No sales talk, no pressure to buy, just amazing customer service. Since this sort of service is as rare as hens teeth, I didn’t hesitate and, now, two kettlebells are on the way as I feel sure help will be there should I have any problems in the future. Freak Athlete, if Andy is anything to go by, you are a trustworthy, helpful company that cares about their customers - something that’s very rare these days but something, as an almost 60 year old man, appreciates no end. Thanks guys, and the very best of luck in the future.

The Hyper Pro is a very well designed system and the customer support behind it is excellent. Having a customer support team member get back to me within a couple hours of sending in a request and instantly resolve an issue I thought would be difficult is extremely rare in today's consumer market. I'm definitely a fan.

Replies to my emails as I have multiple sclerosis and am losing my eyesight. Should be easy to put together with the help of my Husband! A contact if I have any major issues at Freak Athlete.

Poor service. Still trying to get the main part of my hyper pro delivered. They don’t seem to be concerned enough just to send out a replacement since the 1st is obviously lost by their 3rd rate shipping company.
