Ordered #D95B6 food in Kumasi Ghana. The order was rejected by the restaurant Georicas Inn only after full payment of Ghs69.20 been made. Bolt cancelled the order subsequently. I made payment via Telecel cash. The issue was raised with Bolt support immediately and during our chat I was rest assured that a refund had been processed. 36hours later the refund has not return to my T -Cash, therefore I wanted to find update from Bolt support and was shockingly told transaction is too old to be given attention. What an utter nonsense and disrespect to me as if I'm begging to be given my own money back with no interest.
I will henceforth delete account and will never use again.

Horrendous customer support experience. The bot refuses to transfer you to an agent and when you try to explain the situation and ask for a refund since the app changed the delivery address by itself, the agent closes the chat on you. Never ordering again. Couriers don't even speak english and have so much attitude.
If you want to cancel your order…
If you want to cancel your order because the estimated time takes way too much to be delivered the app doesn’t allow to cancel the order. Customer rights are overpassed.
Don't use Bolt Food services
Absolutely terrible experience with Food.
The courier delivered the order to the wrong address, promised to return the pizza to the restaurant, then suddenly changed the story and refused. In the end, I had to walk to the restaurant myself — only to find out the courier had already eaten the pizza.
This is not customer service. This is logistical collapse with tomato sauce.
Mistakes happen, fine. But lying to customers and handling problems with complete indifference is another level. The app support felt like talking to a broken microwave — lots of noise, zero help.
Economies rise and fall, but basic customer service should not disappear like my dinner did.
At this point Bolt Food should rename itself “Mystery Meal Adventure,” because apparently nobody knows where the food ends up.

The order was not delivered, because the delivery man did not find the address. It in spite of the fact I conversed with a guy from Bolt and I explained to him that it was the first time when that happened, the money was not returned to my account.

Bolt Food app caught a random location…
Bolt Food app caught a random location and delivered food there. I never pinned or confirmed that location. I wrote my actual location and it was on the order. The driver called and said he would have delivered it to the right place but he doesnt want to drive and has other plans. As I understood my food was thrown outside and we stayed hungry with kids for another 1,5h until receiving the same order from Wolt and paying twice. I will never use the app again and will avoid any Bolt services as much as I can.

Очень неприятный опыт заказа еды через foodbolt. Через полтора часа после заказа позвонил доставщик Dmytro и сказал, что он находится в 10 км от меня и не собирается везти заказ по моему адресу. На мой вопрос как можно урегулировать ситуацию и всё-таки получить заказ и какой у него последующий маршрут, Дмитро ответил, что он никуда не поедет и что я должна сама приехать или он оставит мой заказ на дороге и пришлет мне фото. Всё это было сказано очень грубо и на повышенных тонах. Даже если произошла какая-то накладка с адресом, так с клиентами обращаться нельзя. Заказ я так и не получила. Потеряла 45€ (при заказе еще включила чаевые для доставки))
Аккаунт закрыла. Никто из моей семьи использовать услуги этой конторы не будет.

Extremely wrong customer service, cold order (due to courier taking several orders on the way), you can speak only to chat bot
Avoid to be scammed.
The courier stated as arrived at location, but when called he told "im in a forest". Even the pin was at the entrance of the neighbourhood. There was exact address with specified location provided for them. The courier submitted as "delivered". We've waited for 40 mins. Our kid cried for the same duration with empty belly. We did not receive nor our food nor a REFUND. Company literally stole our money and left us with no food. Deleted apps, never again. And spreading the word.
P.S. The address whole primal point is the location of where we are residing in. How come the one of few a dominating apps which is built on MAPS SAAS itself is avoiding using it??

Ordered for food and a time was given but it came a different time so when the rider go here I was unable to pick up the call ..I called him later to arrange for different delivery rider claim you've deducted the amount from his account which doesn't make sense
And bolt told me they will dispose the food because I was unable to pickup

Cold food delivered over an hour late.
Today, 11.04.2026 (Saturday), we ordered food (order #LH6FD) in Riga, from "Lokāls karbonādes" using the Bolt Food app. Order confirmed at 13:00, food was ready for pickup at 13:03, and at 13:05 the courier collected my order. The distance between me (Hotel Bellevue) and the restaurant is ~5.9 km — roughly 20 minutes by car at that time of day. "Lokāls karbonādes" is an excellent place to eat, we have ordered from there many times with friends and family and never been disappointed. Possibly the best pork cutlets in Riga.
BUT!!! After collecting my order, the courier spent over an hour driving around Riga making other deliveries (after the first ~35 minutes we started tracking closely — something felt wrong). It was a journey, just not in our direction. A marathon through the streets of Riga at our expense.
The result!? The courier delivered the food at around 14:15 — 1 hour and 10 minutes after pickup!!! The food was lukewarm/cold. Completely ruined through the courier's fault. I contacted support before the delivery even arrived, warning them this was unacceptable and that the food would almost certainly be cold by the time it reached us — and it was, confirmed the moment we received it. When I raised the issue with the courier directly, he mumbled something in English about there being a lot of orders.
That is NOT my problem! Sort out your own staffing issues, Bolt Food — but don't do it AT YOUR CUSTOMERS' EXPENSE!!! Why should I eat cold food!? Why should I watch a courier tour a dozen other addresses with my meal in his bag!?
Bolt Food offered compensation: a 30% discount on the next order, capped at €1.50!!! One euro and fifty cents. For a customer who spent €25.42 (+ €4.63 delivery) on cold, inedible food. That is not a gesture. That is mockery. I requested a 30% refund on the order value for food that was rendered worthless through the courier's negligence. Denied.
Bolt Food — never again. The reason? You.
From this moment I am no longer your customer. I have shared this experience with friends and family, and I will continue to do so. Today's experience is a clear and deliberate display of disrespect toward paying customers.
P.S. It has been noticed multiple times among our circle that the courier's name in the app does not match the actual person who shows up. Female name in the profile — male at the door. What's the proper term for that — account sharing? Well done. A formal complaint to PTAC will follow.
One thing I just really hate about Bolt…
I lured myself to try Bolt Food one more time, now a year almost after doing it last time, and it's still absolutely rubbish.... One thing I just really hate about Bolt Food is that the estimated time of delivery is 9 out of 10 times complete garbage, because they skimp out on their drivers so much that they have to take multiple gigs (From all the other delivery services), so when you order, it will say like ~15 minutes (and thats just from the restaurant to you), but in reality it'll be be 30/40/1 hour because the driver will go to other deliveries complete opposite of where you are that they have from other apps. So it doesn't matter if you priority on any app either. And you can't really blame the drivers because they need to do it in order to survive on these cutthroat "salaries".
So if you want exceptionally slow delivery, very cold food, and half your stuff ruined. USE BOLT FOOD!

I placed an order today through the app, using the same delivery location I’ve successfully used hundreds of times before. Unfortunately, the driver was unable to follow the GPS and couldn’t find the address.
After waiting a few minutes while he struggled to locate me, I asked him to return the order so a fresh one could be sent—because at that point, the food (especially the chips and burger) would clearly no longer be fresh.
The driver never came back, and the order was never delivered.
What’s even worse is that customer support claimed the order was “delivered” and refused to issue a refund or send a replacement. I paid for food I never received.
This is completely unacceptable. Poor delivery service is one thing—but refusing to take responsibility and resolve the issue is another.
I will be deleting the Bolt app and will not be ordering again. I strongly advise others to think twice before using this service.

Poor experience, no accountability
Canceled an order after waiting for an hour. No compensation or an apology. Robotic answers from a representative called "Ema". Never happened in years with other food deliveries.

Produtos que vieram mal concebidos e a pontos de fazer mal e nada fizeram quanto a isso. Produto intragavel que teve de ser jogado para o lixo e nem devolveram o dinheiro ou pelo menos parte dele. Não aconselho a usarem esta app.
Bolt food in Tbilisi
Bolt food in Georgia, Tbilisi. Driver messed up an order, we got refunded quickly and then realised the next day we got charged twice. Tried to get a refund, completely declined. Georgia has zero consumer rights and it shows with these companies, unfortunately very hard to trust companies because they screw you the first chance they get.
Terrible service to customers
This is for malta area. Bolt food is terrible compared to wolt. Nearly every time I've gone on their site it says "no couriers available" absolutely crap! I'm guessing wolt pay their drivers more hence bolt have not got enough drivers although they wouldn't admit this. Bolt sort your act out or go away and leave it to wolt
